When Andie turned to Scott, Grace pulled her close again. "What?" Grace squeaked in a whisper, "you mean we're just wondering around?" Grace tell go of Andie and smacked her hand to her forehead. "Gees," she moaned. "So are we just going to ... hey, that's right!" It had just dawned on Grace that Andie had a good point. "Good point, Andie," she said, then turning to Scott said, "why don't you know the way to your common room?"

Scott shrugged and laughed, "I'm new, this will only be my second time to the common room and as you can tell by my earlier attempt at a map, I have horrible direction skills," Scott explained, "Other than that, I'm not quite sure myself. Then again, I didn't have two girls following me either, so for all you know, I'm the one misleading you," he joked.

Grace laughed heartily. "Following you?" she giggled, "o you really are a funny one!" She laughed and looked at Andie, hoping she would back her up on this topic. The two girls were in front of Scott, his ego must be really big to be able to see them as following him! she thought.

Grace laughed and nodded, "yes, captain," she giggled with a little mock salute. She loved patrolling, it was just so relaxing and the occasional mishap was easily enough dealt with so this was her time to be with herself. The sooner she got this misfit back to his common room, the better. "This way," she said when they reached a t-junction and turned left.

Andie giggled when Grace called her 'Captain' "Attention!" she called. "Alright troops. We have a very serious mission ahead. Anyone who wants out, say so now or forever hold your peace!" All the while she was fighting to keep a straight face and finally disolved into giggles and had to hold onto Grace for support as they reached a t-junction and turned left.

Grace laughed with Andie, the two falling around, and she smiled at Scott, who seemed to think they were crazy. "But, Andie!" Grace squeaked, shocked, "they can't get off! How will we get Scott to his common room if he get's off?" Trying to keep a straight face, she failed, and began laughing again.

Andie laughed. "True." She admitted. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she smoothed her hair and tightened her grip on her wand. "Okay. Let's go." But one glance at Grace, set off a storm of giggles again and she was bent over clutching her stomach in mirth and tears were streaming down her face.

The laughter oozed out of Grace with fitful hilarity. She couldn't help herself. She couldn't stop laughing. "Why are we laughing?" she chuckled, "d'you think we've been hit with some laughing gas." The thought of laughing gas made Grace laugh even harder. She doubled over and wiped a tear off her cheek.

The absurdity of what Grace just said set Andie off in a fresh peal of laughter. Now she could barely breath and was struggling just to stand. Grabbing onto Grace for support she tried to get her breathing back under control but everytime it got down to a reasonable rate, she would burst out in giggles. Again. "You know what Grace?" she gasped as she wiped the tears from her eyes, "I think you're right. "I think we've been hit by some sort of laughing gas or spell or something! Because I have never laughed this much in my entire life!"

Andie falling over and holding onto Grace had her laugh. She threw her head up and laughed to the roof while holding her aching stomach. She grabbed hold of Andie, while still laughing and looked around for Scott. "Where's that little devil?" she said, through spurts of hysterical laughter.

"He probably ran off to have someone come and drag us off to the loony asylum!" Andie exclaimed still gasping with laughter. "I don't blame him either! Heck, I'd drag me to the loony asylum if I saw myself like this!"

Grace laughed and leaned against the wall. She chortled, "and I'd drag you with me. That's the only way I'd go to the looney bin." She laughed and sank with her back on the wall to the floor. She still laughed but it was in spurts. She was beginning to calm down. "And I hope Scott had the sense to go back to his common room."

"Uh... Grace? Scott doesn't even know where his common room is remember? So how could he have the common sense to go back? The common sense to get lost again? Yeah! The common sense to go back to his common room? I don't think so!" Andie took a deep breath. "We better retrace our steps and look for him." Oddly enough as soon as these words came out of her mouth she lost the urge to laugh and became serious once more as she set her mind to the task that lay ahead.

Grace smiled up at Andie and held out her hands for her to help her up. "I suppose you're right," Grace said, as she got up, "but the entrance to their common room is just around that corner." She looked ahead and indicated the left hand corner with the flick of her wrist.
Sighing heavily, Grace turned around and face back the way they had come. "I guess you're right," she said, both seemed to be all laughed out now, "let's get going." She began walking forwards and around the same corner they had just come. AS they walked down that corridor, Grace asked, "so what was all that laughing about?" It all seemed so silly now.
