Andie smiled at the Gryffindor. "Of course not. Oh and if you ever need help, just come look for one of us. I'm Andrea Riley, Ravenclaw Prefect, and this is Grace Marks, Head Girl."

Grace hit Andie on the arm with the back of her hand. "Andie!" she said, irritated, "don't do that!" She hated it when she was introduced as The Head Girl. Even though it was true, Grace was shy about it and preferred to not advertise it. Grace laughed at herself, though I'm sure the badge gives it away.
Taking one more look at the map, she handed it back to the Gryffindor. "There you go, Scott," she said smiling. "And as always I'm sorry too for having to take points from you but it's just the way things work."

Scott nodded, "Like I said, I understand." Scott stood there in silence for a moment, feeling a little uncomfortable, which was abnormal for him, he was usually very good around the opposite gender. He sighed and looked up, "Well, it was really nice bumping into you Grace, Andie, but I guess I should go find the common room now before I end up taking even more points away from my house on my first day."
Scott laughed and put the map back into his pocket and turned around.

Grace blinked at Andie with pleading eyes as the Gryffindor turned and began to leave. "We should go with him," she whispered so Scott couldn't hear, "otherwise he will loose Gryffindor more points."
Then, she jogged to catch up with Scott. "We've decided that you need chaperons, so this time, you won't get lost." She smiled at him and then check to see that Andie had followed too, if Andie didn't come Grace knew she would simply leave the boy to bump into the dreadful Slytherin prefects himself.

Andie nodded. "I think you're right Grace. Wouldn't want him to lose more points now would we?" She followed Grace and Scott down the hall constantly on the alert for more troublemakers. ((not that i'm calling you a troublemaker Scott! ))

((sure you are Andie )) Scott turned around, "So, are you two following me now?" he asked amused, a smile playing on his face. "You know, that's pretty interesting, I always thought I was a good looking guy, but to get two girls to follow me in one day is pretty good, even for me," he said jokingly, turning back around and picking up his pace so he wouldn't get hit by either of the two.

Grace hit Scott on the arm as hard as she could (which wasn't very hard, but still she tried). She giggled slightly and chirped, "well we both agree that if you were to run into the slytherin prefects you'd come out a little worse for wear so we thought we would protect you. Besides, who knows what trouble you could cause yourself!"

Post by William Harris on Apr 5, 2007 20:41:15 GMT
William had barely the strength of will let alone the energy to begin patrolling round the damn school, and besides he'd attract far too much attention with large crowds following him, not exactly the prime prefect material to say the least. Receiving his badge had been a complete surprise, total awe and wondering whether the school had finally after all these long years thrown in the towel and admitted defeat. There must be better suited candidates than himself surely?
Apparently not, as he scuffed his toes and kicked a stone he had been sporting with since his return from Care of Magical Creatures, he was becoming thoroughly bored the long hours and tiring times slogging up and down these dreadful staircases really took it out of a guy, not that he was unfit he thought; far from it in fact according to some people, though being so bored from merely half an hours solid graft, ten of which he'd spent chattering to a friend, and five shouting at a Hufflepuff third year who hadn't done up their laces.
"Damn your soul!" he shouted at a Slytherin passing by making him jump. Laughing he continued onwards until he approached a group coming his way. Rapidly catching up with his slow pace in fact.
"Why hello there!" he called in a cheery voice recognising one or two from rumours abound. "Scott Brooks eh? I heard you had five after you at one time? Or was that just to inflate your ego?" He joked clapping the lad on the shoulder affectionately. "The infamous Grace Marks needs no introduction of course neither does Miss Riley. A good day to you all, fine weather for a spot of duty eh? not too hot not too cold, though it's always hot with such lovely ladies around," he teased with a wry grin and raucous laugh. "Having fun are we?" He asked "which way are you a heading? Not the same as me I hope." William began his usual ramblings and flirtings, flashing smiles to all.

Scott laughed, "Well these two girls thought it best to escort me back to the Gryffindor Common room seeing that I'm a failure in finding it myself. Though, if you ask me, I still say they're trying to follow me." Scott winked at Grace and Andie. "I see you already know my name," he said to the newcomer, "And apparently, I'm trouble, according to these two," he said pointing to the girls.

Post by Jerred Boneman on Apr 5, 2007 23:50:22 GMT
Jerred had been bored, following random people through the school, some of them prefects who should know better. He walked casually around, hands in his pockets and not really doing a thing to harm anyone, but then he heard a slight conversation and the way the Slytherin prefects were, and as usual it was the other Houses who were the first to point the finger. He decided to follow them, each one of them annoying him the further he went, despite the slight urge to pull his wand out and hex each and every one of them.
When at last the small group he was following ran into another Gryffindor, he knew now was the time to intervene. He set himself up above on a small balcony, which so happened to be placed above where the group was. With a wicked smile, he fell from it, landing hard on his back behind the group with a loud oomph.
He leapt to his feet, despite the severe pain running through his back and looked up at the balcony. 'Stupid, good for nothing gits of a useless cowardy Gryffindor!!' Jerred shouted, taking out his wand and pointing it up at the balcony, soon shooting off random spells.
With an enraged look, he looked over and sneered at the group and let out a deep breath, almost sounding like a grunt. 'Why are you lot, pathetic as you are, always, always, ALWAYS jumping on the "We hate Slytherin" bandwagon when you have to realise not all of us are like you!?'
He smiled wickedly.

Grace laughed and was about to turn the corner when another prefect joined them. It was the cocky William Harris. Grace smiled and nodded a greeting at him when he spoke of her. She had heard much of him too, but I'd rather not go into all that. She always found it fascinating how guys interacted.
She chanced a look at Andie before looking to Scott again. She watched the two for a moment but then her attention was pulled away by a dull thud. Grace looked around for the source of the noise but all she found was a Slytherin. "Well, good evening to you too sunshine," Grace chirped merrily.

Andie smiled as they bumped into William. "Hey. nice to see you." she greeted cheerfully, then groaned as she heard another voice. She knew that voice. Jerred Boneman. The most annoying creature on the face of the planet. Andie spun around to face Boneman. "Boneman, would it kill ya to not be an annoying git for just five minutes?. Then she scoffed, "You know what, don't answer that. And for your inforamtion, I am not jumping on the 'We hate Slytherin' bandwagon. I happen to have some very close friends who are in Slytherin. So unless you wanna lose your house some points, I suggest you watch your attitude." Andie crossed her arms and leveled Boneman with her famous glacier-cold glare.

Grace stared at Andie as she jumped Jerred as soon as he jumped in. Her mouth hung opened in utter amazement. She listened to Andie and added, "Yes, indeed, and get back to your common room!" Grace looked at Jerred, pleading him to leave before Andie subtracted points from Slytherin for him simply gawking at her.

Andie tapped her feet, inspected her French manicure and clicked her tongue against her teeth as she waited for Boneman to answer her. Basically she did all the things that she knew would annoy him. Andie caught Grace silently pleading with her eyes for Boneman to leave, and winked at the other girl, letting her know that she wasn't planning on taking any points from anyone just for them gawking at her. Although with Boneman she supposed she could make an exception...

Jerred had to laugh. 'I've lost my House lots of points so losing a few more doesn't really bother me, but since you insist I return to the Slytherin Common Room sometime soon, Miss Head Girl, then I shall do so, in my own time of course.' Jerred said, turning to face the two girls with the wicked grin remaining.
'But then again, I can't let an oppertune moment like this to go past without seeing the annoying and pathetic Gryffindor prefect right there, who believes that because of his station he has a right to make Slytherin pay for every sin that a few minor First Years commit. I mean, just because the First Years say he looks old, is a try hard and a little too arrogant and has an ego the size of the Minister of Magic's, then doesn't mean I have to do or say anything mean to him.' He looked over his shoulder and shrugged. 'I'm bored as it is, so I may as well go... But to you Miss Ravenclaw Princess, that stare of yours... I've seen a Niffler give a better stare than that.'
With that he turned on his heel and began to walk away, whistling loudly, and whilst walking past a suit of armour and knowingly of course that a crashing suit of armour would create an absurd amount of noise, he kicked one and let it crumple, the sound music to his ears. He looked at the fallen suit of armour and admired his work briefly, before the next one fell and several more began to afterwards, the echoes of the school making it much worse.
He looked back at the small group of students and smiled, shrugging before quickly running off, leaving them with the mess to clean up.
