[Cl: P] T1: Lesson III: Befuddlement

[The Sorting Hat]

The Headmistress was sat behind her desk, with her legs on the table in her usual casual style. She was reading a particularly funny book, and began laughing loudly as the students began to file into the classroom. She put her book down, and wiped away a tear of laughter as she prepared herself for the lesson. The room itself had already been set up, with a cauldron on each table and the board ready to have the ingredients inscribed upon.

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa entered the classroom and took a quick look around. There weren't many students, so she took a seat on the left side of the classroom, near the back.

"Hello, Professor." She said with a smile before taking out her textbook and quill.

[The Sorting Hat]

'Good morning, Miss. Turpin.' The Headmistress replied cheerily, before standing up to lean on the front of her desk. She peered at the grandfather clock in the corner of her room. Plenty of time for the others to arrive yet. She thought as the clock wasn't due to chime for another few minutes.

[James McFinnigan]

Fin walked in, unfortunately oblivious to Lisa's presence, because she was sitting way in back of the room. "Morning Professor," he said with a wave, as he sat down and tried to relax until the lesson started.

[Carrie McEwan]

Carrie gave a large yawn and was in mid-stretch as she entered the potions classroom. As much as she enjoyed the lesson, nothing could of gotten her eager on this dark, cold morning.

She walked her way further down the room and gave the Headmistress a polite nod. 'Morning Miss.' She added with a smile. Lisa's presence at the back was also missed by the half-asleep Carrie, who took a seat behind a ravenclaw she hadn't really talked to before.

[Brian Chase]

Brian ran into the room. "Good Morning professor" he said as he took the seat furthest from Fin.

[James McFinnigan]

"Hey, you got a name," Fin said, somewhat bemused to the Gryffindore student sitting near him.

[Carrie McEwan]

'Funnily enough I have.' She replied with a smirk. 'Its Carrie, and you are?' The Gryffindor asked with a raised eyebrow, her elbows resting on the desk before her.

[James McFinnigan]

"James," said the Ravenclaw with an outstretched hand. "But you can call me Fin."

[Helia Ollivander]

Helia walked in and smiled at Brian, but decided that the safest place to sit would be more towards the back. She didn't want to end up having to take sides in whatever argument was going on with Fin and Brian.
She sighed with relief when she saw Lisa sitting in the back as well and sat down by her, "Hey. What's up?" she asked cheerily as she pulled out a quill and piece of paper for note taking.

[Jerred Boneman]

Jerred walked into the room. "Morning Professor," He said as he sat down neither near Fin nor Brian.

[Carrie McEwan]

Carrie put her arm out to shake the Ravenclaw's outstretched hand. 'Nice to meet you Fin.' She added with a smile.

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa looked over at Helia, stifling a yawn. "Not much! Really tired, can't wait to get back to my dormitory," she said with a grin. "How about you?"

[Jinesh Jobalia]

Jinesh yawned and stretched as he entered the classroom.....he was a bit tired.....he greeted,"morning prof" and then went to take a seat towards the end of the class.....he saw lisa and helia already there he asked,"hey gals hows it going?"

Ella walked into the classroom
"Sorry Professor Im not late am i?"
She looked round and quickly sat at a desk on her own taking out her book, quill and ink from her bag.
