Lisa looked up at the professor with a nervous smile before pushing the ingredient forward. "We've decided to use Jobberknoll feathers, a key ingredient used in many memory potions. Our theory is if added to the potion the drinker will forget something important that happened to them which will most likely confuse him. But that's incredibly dangerous, we'll add only tiny amounts so they only forget minutes instead of days or months, and as the Jobberknoll feather is one of the ingredients in memory potions as that doesn't have a lasting effect, they will eventually remember what they had forgotten with an after affect of being dreadfully confused..." She paused, realising she had rambled and looked back into the cauldron, hoping she wasn't blushing. The Professor continued to gaze into the cauldron as Lisa spoke about what they had carried out. She paused slightly when Lisa had finished and then grinned at at them both. 'Well done! Excellent!' She began, lifting her head away from the cauldron. 'I think 10 points apiece is in order! I particularly like the attention to detail - considering the affect of quantity is very important. And of course forgetfulness will definately increase the confusion rate!' The Potions teacher commented approvingly. 'And an extra 5 points for you Miss. Turpin for that explanation.' She gave her an impressed nod, before moving onto viewing Helia Ollivander and her partner's cauldron.

She stepped away from the cauldron and smiled, "In our befuddlement potion we used billywig stingers, the poison in the billywig stingers causes levitation and lightheadedness. I supposed that somone would become more befuddled the fuzzier their mind was." she laddled a bit of the bright blue potion into a vial and handed it to the professor.

The Headmistress accepted the ladle, and examined the potion carefully. Firstly she looked at the colourings of the concotion.. a striking shade of blue.. very promising. She pulled her wand out, and carefully poked the mixture - not exactly the most scientific way of things, but always proved affective. The consistency was quite viscous, meaning it would work fast enough to increase rate of confusion, but slow enough to ensure affectiveness. The billywig poison was also a wise choice, afterall for a for a befuddlement draught to be really good, only one place needed to be targeted - the mind. The Professor looked up to Helia and Ella again. 'Excellent, 10 points to each of you also.'
The Headmistress turned to the grandfather clock in the room, and raised an eyebrow to see the big hand reaching the hour. Time travels fast. 'Well done everyone! Excellent work!' She said loudly across the class. 'Just tidy away and you can go. See you all next lesson.'
