It was a nice day out. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and a light breeze was about. After a exceedingly stressful day at potions [she was never going to look at Professor Black the same way again] Rakki decided to let her hair down at the lake shore.
She was currently playing a soft melody she learned over the summer on her violin and was swaying with tune, something Rakki claimed to be a musical thing, almost oblivious to her surroundings. A slight rustle caused her to open her eye and stop playing for a second to glance in the direction of the noise. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, Rakki closed her eyes and continued to play.

Andie, having had a rather late breakfast, decided to take a walk. As she was strolling towards the lake, guitar and lyric book in hand, she thought she heard someone... playing a violin? She made her way to where the sound was coming from and saw a rather small girl. A Slytherin perhaps? She wasn't sure why, but the girl looked rather familiar to Andie and she decided to take a closer look. At that moment, Andie stepped on a twig, causing the other girl to turn around. "Oh sorry, didn't mean to disturb you." Andie apologized, hoping she hadn't startled the girl.

Rakki jumped at the voice and lowered her instrument to look at the other person. The Ravenclaw looked familiar--she'd seen her recently--but couldn't put a name to her face. Rakki took in the sight of the older girl's guitar and book (maybe a music book?) and tilted her head slightly. Rakki just blinked before the question registered through her head. "It's alright," Rakki gave the girl a small smile and rubbed the back of her head with her right hand.

Andie chuckled at the small girl's confusion, and seeming shyness. She gestured to the instrument in the girl's hand, "How long you been playin'?" Then realized she had yet to introduce herself. "I'm Andrea Riley." she cocked her head. "You look familiar... don't you have potions with me and Amanda Leveque and Loren Hayes?"

Rakki grimanced on the inside. "Yeah. Rakki Graveston." She nodded her head. "And I've been playing for a few years now. I think this is my fourth year playing." Rakki smiled with pride.

"Stupid Black. I hate him." and Fernand walked towards the lake. He sat on its shore and stared across it on this warm day. He looked to his left at the sounds of voices and saw two girls. "Time to work up the old charm." and Fernand stood up and walked towards them. "Hello ladies. Nice day isn't it?"

Rakki looked over at the newcomer and smiled, nodding her head in greeting. "It is, isn't it?" Rakki cacrefully placed her violin and bow beside her and moved so she was sitting crosslegged.

"Quite lovely. I would ask you what your doing on this fine day but seeing that you have a violin what would be the point? Fernand Mondego milady." and Fernand took her hand and gave it a small kiss.

Rakki squeaked softly and tried to control her blush. "R-Rakki Graveston." She managed to get out, bowing her head slightly to hide the blush.

"Pleasure to meet you my dear. How are you doing on this fine day?" and he took a seat beside the girl giving her a toothy smile.

"I'm doing quite fine, thank you." Rakki said before hiding behind her hands. "And you? How are you doing?" She glanced in his direction, awaiting his answer.

Fernand sighed. " I am doing quite well thank you. he smiled at her, "Is something wrong? You seem frightened!" and he laughed, showing off his great smile. He silenced and turned back to her waiting for her to reply.

"Oh no!" She rubbed the back of her head. "I'm fine, it's just a bad habit of mine to do something like that." Rakki once again returned to hiding behind her hands, laughing sheepishly at her actions.

Fernand scooted a little closer. He pulled her hands down slowly. "No need to hide that pretty face." and he set her hands in her lap. "Thats better. So how long have you played violin?" Fernand said making conversation.

"I've been playing for about four years now." Rakki answered, looking off in another direction. "Not too good at it yet, I'm still working on verbrado and 6/8 timing pieces." Rakki poked her violin. "I'm also trying to work on shifting. It's a pain for me to do."
