"Would you mind playing a song for me?" Fernand asked. "I would love to here you play something." Fernand smiled and waited to see if she would play anything.

"But I'm not reall good at playing. I only managed to slip past my music teacher because I played with another violinist." Rakki once again poked her violin.

"I don't mind. Come on just play something. I'm sure it would be great no matter what." and he picked up her violin and handed it to her.

Rakki took the instrument from him and got in position. She looked up for a second, thinking of a song to play, before deciding to play the song she was playing before. Placing the bow on the strings, Rakki began to play.
The song was a somewhat sorrowful tune, the pace not too fast or too slow and it was played in mezzo-piano. Rakki would occasionally open her eyes to check the strings and her finger positions before once again closing them and shifting notes. After a few minutes, she began to slow down and changed the dynamic to piano. Drawing out the last note with a faint verbrado, Rakki pulled gently lifted the bow from the violin. She blinked before putting the instrument into rest position and placing the bow next to her.
"Eh, there's suppose to be a lot more verbrado but since my wrist refuses to move unless it's a long note, I'll have to do with the last note." Rakki grinned sheepishly and rubbed the back of her head. "Sorry 'bout that."

"That was beautiful!" and Fernand started to clap gently. "Where did you learn to play like that?" He looked at her in a whole new way now.

"Uh, well, like I said, I've been playing for about four years now but it's my brother who forced me to practice." Rakki grinned at the memories of her brother forcing her to play. "I recall a time when he locked me in my room and wouldn't let me out until I mastered the pieces for the concert that was that night." She shook her head. "Pretty much if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be at the skill level I am right now."

"I guess you owe him then! Did your brother go to hogwarts then?" Fernand said leaning back, and laying in the grass staring at the beautiful sky.

"Yeah, he graduated last year." Rakki once again placed the violin down. "Might you have known him? His name is Amd'r and he was, well, still is, serious and aloof. The kind to sit back and watch rather than take action. He also liked to belittle those who attempted to belittle him."

Amanda, was siting in a tree when she heard voices. One, was that of her friend Rakki, the others, were Andrea and Fernand, she listened discreetly for awhile then slipped silently to the ground. Quickly, softly. she walked towards Rakki and covered her friends eyes with her hands. "Hey Funny Face, what's new?" she greeted her friend, with her old nickname
((Funny Face just popped into my head. hehehe))

"Real clever, ofui." Rakki countered, driving her friend's hands away from her eyes. "I'm holding a civilized conversation with Fernand."

(idiot? oh you're gonna pay for that little girl! just wait till i see u in school!)
Amanda rolled her eyes and removed her hands from her friends face. "I'm not an idiot!" she grumbled, "And just for the record, if I sound like a dying cow when I sing, when you play your violin it sounds like a walrus that got an accordion stuck in it's throat. So there!" She gave an innocent smile, and prepared to run, should Rakki decide to attack her.

"Now I never said I was wonderful at the violin mind you." Rakki countered, shaking her head. "At least I can admit it when someone says I wound like a walrus."
(>_> Exactly why you walked right by me this morning)

Rakki flexed her fingers before drawing her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around her legs. Burrowing her face between her knees she started to murmur something incoherent.
((>.> Just before 3rd period))

Andie chuckled as the two friends playfully bantered back and forth, then noticing that Rakki had put her head down, furrowed her brow in concern. "Rakki? You okay?" she asked the younger girl.
