The snitch darted over to the Slytherin stands to avoid the grasp of the seeker once again. It zig zagged through various spectators, before shooting over to the next set of stands. It flew a bit higher, to finally hover twenty foot or so over a large roaring Gryffindor banner. Leon was still and waiting for a bludger to attack. Watching the game for a moment, he noticed Jac grab the quaffle and zoom off, quickly passing it to a team mate. Leon saw a Bludger speed quickly towards Jac and he managed to smash it back towards an orange, what looked like Helena, in the distance. Smirking at Jac, he lifted upwards to get a better view of what was happening.

Sarie had lost the snitch. She flew in large circle. Then she was it. It was over by the Gryffindor banner. She took off. She flew waiting for the snitch to move. She was nervous she if she missed she would lose the game.

Felicity kept her grip on her beater tight as her eyes scanned the area. This rain was annoying, blinking her view like that. She scowled and moved her broom more to the side. Fay saw the flash of the bludger as it connected with the other team's beater and raced over to Helena.
"Nice try kiddy, but no one's getting hit on this team."
Fay leaned forward on her broom and zoomed after the bludger, barely aware of the rain pounding against her face. She arched her arm back then swung it forward, connecting the beater with the bludger seconds before it would hit Helena. The thing wizzed through the air, heading --from what she could see-- toward Erys.

Helena made a wobbly virtual "S" movement before quickly steadying herself. She flashed a grin at Felicity with her teeth standing out against her olive skin. Helena marveled at Felicity's skill, and then, she saw her chance.
She wondered how Jac would have possibly missed Helena, but this was no time to ponder--- only catch and fly. She caught the quaffle in her long arm and flew off before quickly passing it to, hopefully a teammate as the other team started catching up.

Surprising or not Girty almost expect Jac to be there and steal the quaffle back for the purple side, it seemed to becoming a trend in play and one that by tomorrow when they have got over all the bumps and bruises they would sit and laugh about. However now was a time to play Quidditch and not stand about laughing so Girty gritted her teeth and flew after the orange haired Gryffindor watching with a wide grin as the pass found its way into Helena’s arms.
Time was of the essence, one moments of hesitation or stuttering could ruin it all and once more let the purple team into the game. Though by now Girty Hubbles had become used to the game of Quidditch and was able to read the moves of players on her own team and more importantly the opposition. Erys for example would fly long distances and then shove the quaffle into others hands, while Jac was the other extreme she would head the attack and then throw the quaffle to the other side of the pitch with a devastating aim…while the orange clad players (even including Girty) most of the time wanted to get rid of the quaffle as soon as possible.
This is just what Helena had done and Girty flew wide of her and when she was a few meters ahead the Hufflepuff took possession of the quaffle tucking it nicely under her arm and yet again flew forward on the attack. The goal hoops slowly grew bigger, the cheers from the crowds grew louder and louder as they sensed the chance of a goal. For a moment Girty toyed with the idea of shooting but purple seemed to be getting closer and closer towards her and not wanting to get another slap in the face Girty looked over her shoulder to the closest orange clad chaser and tossed it over towards them ready for them to have a shot on goal.

Jamie-Syrus was becoming somewhat annoyed at himself during this match, he may have scored, however half of the time his head had been in the clouds. He could not keep his concentration, things were weighing upon his mind, he had believed that they would dropt away during this intense match however he had been proved wrong once again. Being roused twice as the purples scored two goals. This could not continue any longer. He stalked the quaffle for a short while though to no avail. However eventually the oranges gained possession. Helena caught the quaffle and just as suddenly it was back in Girty’s hands. Time to prove his worth he thought to himself.
Jamie followed Girty toward the goalmouths, though slightly lower to offer a bit of protection if she came under threat. Girty turned and threw the quaffle over her shoulder in his direction. Though safe to say, he had not been anticipating this move just yet. Jamie fumbled for the quaffle as it slid through the ends of his fingers. His grip had been lost due to the conditions. Screwing up his face in annoyance, he dove after the bright red quaffle his orange robes flailing about him. It did not take long until he had caught up with it once more, and with an easy outstretch he clutched the quaffle to his chest once again, and shot off toward the hoops. Closer and closer he came to the hoops, dodging both bludgers and purple clad players as he went. No reason to mess about he thought to himself. He swerved to the right to throw the keeper, and with a sharp movement of his right arm he released the quaffle and watched as it sailed through the far right hoop. Goal! 20 - 50 - Posession is given to Gryffindor/Slytherin.

Well, the snitch was favoring the Slytherins today, Ellie thought as she sped toward the stands. She had seen the gleaming gold only for a second, thinking it might have been a watch, she decided to check it out anyway. She hated when the snitch went near the stands. It was so hard to tell whether it was the snitch or just a reflection off of someones glasses for instance.
Ellie was happy that she had decided correctly as she saw the golden ball hovering. Seeing the Gryffindor seeker, she urged her broom on. Apparently the snitch felt its danger, for it moved, mad fast, over the stands. It was alway dangerous flying low over Slytherins, Ellie was sure that she had felt on of them grab her leg in a previous match, but if it meant losing the game, she would take the chance.
The Snitch darted upward, and beating out the small other seeker, she followed it up. Watching it turn toward the Gryffindors, Ellie turned and sped toward the banner, never taking her eyes off the gold.

Wow, suddenly the other team had an outburst of activity. Ah, well. Time to trump them. With the ball in her possession, Erys Grace shot towards the other end of the pitch, slowing down and swerving lower to the ground to avoid a bludger someone had just hit. Whoever it was, she had no idea. Most if not all would think she was just flying lower to avoid the assembly of players up top, but that wasn't the case. So close that sand nearly whipped into her face - almost, folks - she scooped up a handful of sand, clutching it tightly within her firm grip. Soaring upwards again, the Slytherin boldly swung a ways in front of Ellie Rook, sharply flicking her wrist out to shower a cascade of sand into the seeker's eyes. That'll show her.
Still hugging the quaffle to her chest, Erys Grace sunk quickly, in case Ellie flew in to her. Flying closer to Jac now, the Slytherin pushed the ball into her hands, thumbing a finger towards the center hoop. Lets go. I'll be open for the pass. Unless something or someone happened to get in the way.[/color]

“That is just not Quidditch!”
Girty shouted as yet again Erys shoved the quaffle into Jac’s hands, the end result however would be the same as before, the Hufflepuff would just have to use a little bit of force. With a sigh Girty flew underneath Jac trying to contemplate how to do this Erys was signalling for the middle hoop so Girty guessed that would be the direction they flew in it was just a matter of getting the quaffle back. He decision was to try and hurt Jac in the least bit possible and if she managed to get the positioning right Girty should be able to fly up from beneath and push the Quaffle out of her friends hands…it seemed easy enough.
With a sudden burst of speed Girty flew almost vertical towards Jac her arm out stretched almost as if she was a seeker but the ball she was after was a little bit bigger. Her hand clenched into a fist and it made rather violent contact with the quaffle but due to the speed she was travelling at Girty missed the moment the quaffle was dropt but in her eyes that did not matter all that did matter was that the red ball was free falling towards the ground.
Ignoring the stinging pain from thumping the ball so hard Girty made a sudden change in direction dive bombed after the quaffle building up more and more momentum as she went. The red quaffle grew bigger and bigger and with a quick and easy take it was soon in her hands, but the next challenge would be to find another Orange team chaser and ore importantly stop herself before she hit the ground. She managed to pull the broom level with a few meters to spare and she carried on for a while, moving closer to the goals, looking around for any on coming attacks or allies to help her. It was then she saw an orange team chaser and pulling her arm back as far as it went Girty hurled the ball towards them.

Thumping the air with joy as he watched the quaffle go through the hoop Jamie-Syrus was paying a little too much attention to the cheering Hufflepuff fans to notice that the ball was in play yet again. Chasing after Jac he was going to tackle her when the orange blur of his cousin appeared punching the quaffle away. Grinning from ear to ear Jamie-Syrus flew closer to the hoops waiting for the pass that he knew would come.
Just as this thought had passed threw his mind Girty had hurled the quaffle in his direction and it easily made its way into his arms. He was so tempted to stop and wave at Girty but although that would have been fine during a family game of Quidditch when they were playing against Dan and Warren ion such a heated game as this the young Hufflepuff tucked the quaffle under his arm and flew off getting closer and closer to the goals.
The keeper seemed to be covering his moves after the last goal he had scored and he knew that many of the other purple team players had their eyes fixed upon him, he would have to pass the quaffle over to Girty so she could have a clean shot on goal.
“Heads up Girt!”
His shout was loud and even with the wind and rain hammering down on them all he knew that Girty would hear the shout and so he passed the red ball over to her waiting to start the celebration of yet another goal.

Good old Jamie always knew how to make his cousin smile and once again not to see her pass land in the arms of a purple clad player was a sure way to make a smile spread across the face of Girty. Although she was still feeling slightly guilty over the whole string on collisions and incidents with Jac the Hufflepuff knew she had to move on and focus…focus on getting to the goal hoops to act as support if Jamie needed it. It was a good job she did as Jamie seemed to be under close watch from the other team players giving him very little chance to get a clean shot on goal. Feeling the rain trickle down her face Girty slowly hovered closer almost trying to act like a creature in the shadows and not get noticed. (Although the orange robes were a little obvious!)
At the shout of her name Girty came back to life and reached out to intercept the pass from her cousin. It was the perfectly weighted throw and due to the ease of the catch even in the slippery conditions Girty but the problem was that the shout had attracted a lot of unwanted attention and the keeper was quickly flying over towards the left hoop where she was going to shoot.
“Jamie! Have it back!”
With a small laugh Girty through it over the heads of the other people circling the goals and towards her cousin. This really was turning out like a family game.

When Jamie-Syrus saw the Quaffle land safely in the arms of Girty he could not help but cheer as it had to be a goal all she had to do was put it through the hoop. But before he could even lift his arms into the air in anticipation Girty was shouting towards him, she wanted him to have it back? With a confused look he was about to protest when the quaffle flew over towards him, over the other players and safely into his arms. Jamie-Syrus had to have a double take from the red ball in his arms and back to his cousin. This was ridiculous, well like the time at Aunt Barbara and Uncle Fredrick’s wedding anniversary when the Hubbles clan had the huge game of Quidditch and him and Girty had a huge argument just like now of who should score and in the end Bailey just flew up to them stole the quaffle back and scored the goal herself.
They could not afford to let that happen today and his little trip down memory lane had given the other team time to regroup once more. A small grin filled his face and flicking his wet hair out his eyes Jamie looked over at Girty and threw the quaffle back at her!
“Hot potato and not returns!” He gave a mad laugh and gave Girty a small salute. "Dude, less of the nonsense, get on with it and score a bloody goal! anyway i've already scored two! You';re down! its the only gentlemanly thing to do anyway!"

Girty was sure Jamie would take the chance and score but for some reason he seemed to find it hard to believe that the quaffle was in his arms and then on top of that he threw it straight back at her. She was sure that the on looking students would be finding the whole thing rather amusing that the Orange team could not decide who the hell was going to score the goal...however she could just imagine Dan in the stands yelling down at them till he was blue in the face to just get on with it and score.
“JAMIE!” Girty shouted in protest as she reached out and took hold of the quaffle. “You are a complete nonce you know that don’t you?!”
A playful frown spread across her face and Girty moved forward a bit more on her broom to get a better shoot at goal and with as much force as she could muster she threw the quaffle at the left hoop watching it spin in the air and the trail of water vapour leaving a slight trail as it went.Goal! 20 - 60 - Posession is given to Gryffindor/Slytherin.

Ellie flew up a purple robes figure flying fast past her. All of a sudden her eyes were on fire. With one hand she let loose of her broom and wiped her eyes furiously. They were watering and the Hufflepuff couldn't see. Instead of loosing control she stopped where she was and floated, unable to see anything. She blinked hard.
Finally after minutes of pain, her eyes opened. The tears had washed out most of the sand from her eyes, but they were still red and dry, stinging slightly. She blinked, her eyes still wet. That was purposely done. How else could sand raise fifteen feet and fall into her eyes. Ellie's face was red with fury. She looked around, her eyes paining her. She was going to find that snitch and catch it. If she could see it.
