Jac watched the quaffle as it flew towards her team mate, as it began to fall being neglected by her team mate. Gritting her teeth, Jac pulled hard on her broom and spun around, coming to a halt. Jamie got it again. He taunted her and Jac smirked, looking very much like the Slytherins she was playing with. Shooting off towards the Puff ball, Jac waited for an opening.
The pass. The ultimate opening. As the quaffle left Jamie's hand was flew toward the other set of hands Jac dashed in and hugged the quaffle to her stomach. "Not today, Griffiths," Jac chirped loudly at the boy. Circling round, Jac headed back towards the other end of the pitch. She flew until purple came into her field of vision. "Here," she called and threw the quaffle hard towards them.

{ Can I score, or do I have to pass twice every time before getting a goal? Ugh, I'm way suited to beater. xD }
"Got it!" Erys called as she caught the quaffle firmly in her grip, as her purple robes danced behind her as she shot the last remaining distance towards the hoops. Weaving around the bludger, the Slytherin's brown hair whipped behind her as she threw it close-range at the nearest hoop, which happened to be the one on the right. If Jac followed her, and she ended up missing for some obscure reason, the Gryffindor would get it. Not only that, if it was saved by the opposing keeper there'd be twice as many purple people to get it back in their possession.
Glancing around the pitch for her fellow chasers, any bludgers, or even the snitch - as it couldn't hurt their seeker for some help - Erys licked her lips, hoping she got her team another point.

(When the quaffle is intercepted it restarts that run of passes so yes, you have to pass it twice every time before you can have a shot on goal…sorry)
Even when Jac fell off to pursue the quaffle Girty did not move, Helena and Jamie seemed to be working well together so the Hufflepuff took this small break to wiggle her shoulder around and after many clicks the pain eased slightly. The cheers from the crowd started again and the orange side were close to the hoops but…Jac stopped them, then Jamie won. Girty kicked herself into action at this point more then keen to get back in the game.
Although she had not acted quick enough and Jac yet again caught the quaffle and passed it onto Erys who was flying close to the goals. That bloody Slytherin seemed to be their favourite to take shots on goal and Girty always seemed to be the one trying to stop her. Girty was hot on her tail as they made the way across the pitch, she was slowly edging closer to her when she pulled the quaffle back, with a small smile Girty pulled out to the right and with arms up in the air she caught the quaffle only moments after it had left Erys hands.
“Thank you very much.” Girty teased as she held the quaffle in her hands. Tucking it under her left arm the Hufflepuff flew of yet again, deciding to stick solely to the left side of the pitch and by the stands almost as a shield from anyone hitting a bludger at hr left shoulder. It was when she reached the half way line Girty looked around for someone to pass the quaffle to and it was then she saw her fellow chaser.
“Behind you!” She shouted and threw the quaffle in their direction clinging onto the hope that the wind would not hinder the throw or the shout.

Erys caught Jac's pass brilliantly. Jac smirked and continued behind Erys. Avoiding hovering beaters, Jac swung wide, away from Erys and flew back into position only too late to catch the pass Erys made. Girty got there before her. Cursing, Jac spun around and flew after Girty with everything she had.
Her chance soon came and when Girty passed the quaffle, Jac darted at it sideways, rounding towards her hoops. She watched Girty closely for a few seconds before looking ahead for Erys or purple. Spotting it, Jac swerved widely to the left, flying low, and passed up, knowing for sure one of her team mates would get it.

All this passing and intercepting, and only one goal! Helena was tired and slightly impatient as she quickly grabbed the quaffle before anyone else, then sped towards the goals as she swerved around, hair whipping in her face (Ergh!)
She looked around quickly and the coast looked clear (keyword: looked) when an orange-clad teammate passed by. Helena drew back her arm and threw the quaffle, when her shoulder made an odd sound. "Ouch!" she said as she rolled her shoulders a bit but kept moving forward and watching the quaffle carefully.

Jac once again took hold of the quaffle but then almost as soon as she passed it and it was not a purple player who caught it but Helena. A sigh of relief passed through the Hufflepuff’s lips and she darted off towards the goals to act as back up as she was unable to see Jamie around. She her fellow chaser let go of the quaffle and Girty lowered herself on her broom to make herself more streamlined and chased after the quaffle reaching out and grasping hold of it.
By now they were close to the hoops but purple players seemed to be getting closer. Looking around Girty hoped that Helena had stayed up close to goal and she threw it over towards a orange robed player, unsure if it was her or not.

And the orange was Helena indeed. Catching the pass rather easily (Girty was a good thrower), Helena weaved quickly but rather sloppily (It's this old broom! in her defense) through all the players and threw the quaffle towards the left hoop.
Go in, go in, go in, go in.. she begged the quaffle, and bit her lip anxiously.
She broke into a grin as the quaffle sailed through the hoop.

With possession of the quaffle, Erys Grace sailed towards the other end of the pitch, a determination flaming in her eyes as her purple robes slapped wildly behind her. "Jac, go go go!" The Slytherin yelled to her, refusing to pass the quaffle unless at close-range. Reaching the end of the pitch eventually, she swung close to the Gryffindor, shoving the ball into her hands only to make sure she got it. Meaning no interceptions this time. If Jac needed another pass to score, she'd meet her at the hoops, arms ready to catch and score. This'd be her second pass, if she knew how to count - which she did, heh - and thus she'd be free to get more points for her team.
Once Jac had the quaffle Erys would swing away, heading closer to the hoops.

(Wait, why does Team Ravenpuff-y Thing have 30 pts? Oh well, not complaining!)
Helena knocked her hand over the quaffle and managed to half-intercept it... however, she could not get the quaffle for herself.
As she fumbled with the quaffle, she accidentally dropped it in her rush. She went down to catch it again, and hurriedly threw it to an orange player she thought she saw.

Another goal was awarded to the opposition and Jac nodded. They weren't on top of the game so couldn't be sore about them scoring again. What she could be sore about was the fact that they weren't on top of the game. The Ravenpuffs were ahead so she would have to work extra hard from now on.
Wiping her wet fringe out of her face, Jac watched as Erys took possession of the quaffle. Jac was flabbergasted when the Slytherin actually placed it in her hands an flew off. She positioned herself near the hoops and as Jac realised what the batty Slytherin was doing, she raised it above her head to throw it to her. It was snatched out of her hand and before Jac had a chance to take it back.
Tailing the thief, Jac nearly had it when she fumbled it. But Helena got it back. Continuing to fly beneath the Ravenpuff, Jac got an oppertunity to get it back when she passed it. Not waiting to see who the pass was intended for, Jac flew up between them and circled back around, towards her goal place. Seeing the purple, Jac threw the quaffle towards it and hurried ahead.

Girty thumped the air when the quaffle went through the hoop, that was their third goal of the game and each chaser had scared one each…they could not have planned it any better. With a wide grin Girty started to chase after Erys who now had possession of the quaffle, she then put it in Jac’s hands much to the look of surprise on the Gryffindors face. Helena took advantage of this and stole the quaffle off Jac only for the Gryffindor to steal it back again straight away. It was a high passed game and Girty had a feeling she would have a few more scraps and bruises by the end of it not to mention the fact that she was slowly getting wetter and wetter due to the rain.
Jac seemed to be flying wide and Girty followed. The Hufflepuff weaved in between players travelling in other directions and ducked as a bludger came scarily close to smacking her in the face. Looking from left to right Girty saw Jac just to the side of her and it looked like she was getting ready to make a pass. As soon as the red ball was realised from her friends hand Girty was on its tail, reaching out and claiming the quaffle for her own.
With a sharp tug on her broom Girty pulled the broom round to face where she had just come from and started to retrace her steps so to speak and made her way towards the goal hoops. After almost ten seconds of flying Girty began to scout for a fellow team member to pass it to and at the first sight of Orange she threw the quaffle in their direction.

Helena quickly caught it and fumbled again, nearly panicking. Her hair was in her face and her clothes sticking to her skin, but she didn't care. Getting the quaffle in the goal was first priority.
She had the fleeting thought that this game was getting nowhere, but she shook it off. Think positive, she told herself. Then she noticed that the rain was--- was it starting to stop raining?
Quickly, she threw the quaffle to a teammate, tightly holding onto her slippery broom handle and tucking her hair behind her ear.

The rain was starting to fall harder but Girty kept going she had to, in circumstance like this it could arguably be seen as fortunate that the Hufflclaw side where wearing Orange as they stood out like sore thumbs from their purple clad opponents. Still focusing on the quaffle Girty continued to fly forwards albeit at a slower speed. She saw the quaffle land in the hands of Helena and she let out a sigh of relief.
She progressed with the charge towards the hoops looking over at her fellow chaser ever so often to make sure she had thrown the quaffle, and after the third check she saw the exact moment that the ball left her hands. Determined not to let the other team get the quaffle Girty tried to get as much speed out of her broom as possible even to the extent of muttering ‘faster’ to herself hoping for some reason it would help.
Reaching out Girty took hold of the quaffle and after a moment panic when the wet ball slipped in her hand she took a tighter grip and flew closer to the posts, eyes focused on the centre hoop as that was the one she was going to shoot for. Taking the wind and rain into account Girty flew a little closer then normal before pulling her arm back and throwing it with all her strength at the centre hoop, shouting at it to go in. Goal! 0 - 40 - Posession is given to Gryffindor/Slytherin.

Jac had not noticed Girty tailing her. If she had she would have pulled another maneuver to stop the Puff. But she didn't know so no such action could have been taken. Surely it would have helped for Girty stole the quaffle almost as soon as it had left her hand. Jac's hair turned midnight black as she watched after the thieving Puff.
Shooting like a bullet after her friend, but enemy on the field, Jac rapidly gained on the orange clad ball stealer only to see it be passed once again in front of her face. The pass back to Girty came quickly and Jac flew over Girty's head ready to steal it as soon as she threw it. She did, right towards the center goal and, using both hands grabbed the ball out of the air. Tucking it under her arm, taking hold of her broom again, and turned, heading back the way she had come.
Growing tired of the back and forth and never scoring, Jac searched for someone to pass to. She had to pass the ball so she could get close enough to score. Seeing purple, Jac called, "Oy!" and threw the ball towards it.

“Hey that is just plain rude!”
Girty placed her hands on her hips and laughed as she watched Jac steal the quaffle before it got near the hoop. The rain was running down her face and for all Girty could tell there could have been beads of sweat and tears of pain mixed in with it. Her shoulder was still throbbing and although they were flying it was still tiring work flying from one end of the pitch to another.
As the purple blur of Jac grew smaller and was lost among the other plays Girty gave a loud groan and turned her broom around and headed back out into the jungle, having to duck a bludger strike almost straight away. It was then when she heard an all too familiar shout from Jac trying to get someone attention. Clearly Girty had flown straight past Jac as the next thing she saw was the quaffle fly off in the other direction out the corner of her eye.
There was no way Girty would be able to make that unless she had a bit of luck…and it was then there was a sudden uproar in the crowd as a very violent gust of wind blew and turn umbrella’s inside out and the rain to blow in a completely different direction. For Girty made her robes billow out, her dripping wet pony tail to flap around and her broom to become unstable in the turbulence. But also much to her joy it also slowed the quaffle down, in fact for a moment Girty could have sworn it was still…but it was the chance she needed.
Fighting through the rain she managed to get hold of the quaffle and tuck it under her arm, before deciding to take the lower route to the hoops. She dived bombed to the ground and pulled up just so her feet skimmed the grass of the pitch. The high stands seemed to be a wind breaker and it was a much smoother ride down here and Girty guessed it would also be a lot easier to pass, so with very little effort out of sheer laziness then anything Girty threw the quaffle at the nearest orange blur.
((eee that is long for Quidditch haha. Sorry…I got in the zone haha))
