Girty was quite disgruntled when Erys flew in the way to stop the quaffle from passing through the hoops. She was certain it was going to be a goal, but alas things never went how you wanted them in sports and this was a prime example, however the purple sides attack did not last very long as Helena quickly intercepted Erys pass. With a small sigh of relief Girty moved closer to her fellow Hufflepuff and chaser ready for another attack on goal.
It was a text book pass, the perfect amount of speed at the perfect height meant it was easy to take hold of, which was good as her fingers were still sore. Weaving through the crowds of players and diving her way from the bludger Girty was almost upon the posts once more. Glancing around she see an orange blur in front of her and Girty passed the quaffle in their direction urging them to take a shot on goal.

{ It is! And in this post Erys Grace perfects the saying of "Slytherin's always fight dirty". xD }
Erys Grace shouted a string of colourful curses as Helena intercepted it, chasing after her after snatching up someone's beater's bat to use it to hurriedly strike the quaffle away. Faltering, dodging, and plumetting after Girty, the Slytherin strung a wide loop, her goal to meet her at the hoops before she could try to score/pass again. If she couldn't have it, neither could the foolish Hufflepuff! Whipping the bat forward just in time to hit the ball away from whoever was going to be on the receiving end of the latest pass, Erys flashed Girty the bird, tossing the bat back to its owner and diving after the falling ball.
"Ricky!" Erys shouted as she fell after it, scooping it up before yanking up, hard, on her broomstick right before she hit the ground. The result was she, safe and sound, began to soar across the pitch, exhasperated at the ping-pong atmosphere of this game. The moment she got it back over there, they would take it over to her side of the pitch, then she'd get it back.. Thank goodness Quidditch used flying brooms instead of feet and legs, they'd all be exhausted! "Catch!" Flying over so she was right beside him (so this time the pass wouldn't fail, and no one could take it away unless after it was finished) Erys shoved the ball a little roughly into his hands, with no ill-intent except towards the other team. "I'll meet you at the posts." Meaning, meet her over there, pass it to her, then she'd score. Or at least try to.

Now this was what Ricky liked, game with fiest and most certainly, curses! He laughed as he heard Erys's yells of curses from where he was, applauding at her skill of beating the quaffle away, Ricky too, followed pursuit and dived after the ball, though seeing her catch it splendidly he pulled up and began to fly across to the otherside of the pitch.
"Erys!" Ricky yelled back showing her he had heard as he carried on flying, looking back to see where the ball was heading, but it wasnt heading anywhere considering it was still in her hands, yet she was hurtling towards him at an astonishing rate, This girl is just amazing. He thought rather smugly to himself as she gained on level with him. Having the quaffle in his hands now, after having it passed to him rather closely, still considered as passing. "I got ya!" He smirked as he flew around to meet her beside the goalposts.
Though, Ricky was having a little trouble getting there, these orange things kept blocking his way, and a bludger nearly hit his head, he was having a difficult time here. "Erys!" He yelled, "Where the hell are you?"

Yet again a blur of purple of there before another chaser on her side could get to it, but it was then Girty saw Erys used a beater bat. Girty’s face was like thunder, this was war. Flying close to the referee Girty gesticulated at the bat that was now falling to the ground before quickly chasing after the purple blur of Erys…but they had stopped. She was basically handing the quaffle over to another chaser. A cruel smile filled the Hufflepuff’s face and she flew directly at the opposition chasers.
She did slow down slightly as she did not want to hurt herself too much but neither the less Girty barged into the side of the Ricky. She almost toppled off her own broom and by the time she had regained her own balance she noticed that the Slytherin no longer had the quaffle, it was falling to the ground. Swooping down Girty picked the quaffle up and flew off in the other direction, rubbing her throbbing left shoulder…she was not doing that again.
Wincing she looked around for one of her team to take the blasted thing of her hands and at the first sight of orange Girty gave a rather limp throw but she did not care, she just wanted to give her shoulder a moment or two to stop, it felt like her bite scar was on fire that it was ripping open. At least Girty learnt one thing from this game, playing dirty was not worth it.

Ricky felt something barge into the side of him, his right shoulder to be precise which was not the most stable of places on Ricky's body. Pain seared through him as he felt, and heard his shoulder crack. He had broken it many times in the past and was easily dislodged out of place. He dropped the quaffle without thinking as pain racked his shoulder, it had clicked out of place and yet he felt like it was hurt more. Just one simple, but powerful knock from that Hufflepuff dislocated his shoulder!
"You filthy halfbreed!" He yelled angrily and very loudly. Flying over to a beater on his team, he snatched the bat off them and whacked a bludger in her direction. He had hit it hard and fast at her, this was war, this dirty blooded person wouldnt best Ricky. Seeing her throw the quaffle he rushed and caught it neatly under his left arm since his right one was no use right now. Turning to look at her, he gave her a sly wink and flew off. "Erys!" He yelled nearing her, "Catch!" He threw the quaffle in her direction, though it was a rather weak throw, his shoulder was injured and his right arm was no more use because of it. He turned back to look at the Hufflepuff, Ricky, now handsfree, was clutching his left shoulder, giving the halfbreed a very nasty look. "You.Will.Pay.For.This" He mouthed to her.

Over the sound of the booing and the jesting and even the rush of the wind Girty could hear the Slytherin shouting at her in the typical droll way about her being halfbreed. Trying to keep her cool Girty tried to focus on where the quaffle was going but there was the sound that always meant danger…a bludger. Turning around with a look of pure horror Girty saw the Slytherin with the bat. Pulling the broom to an almost vertical angle Girty hung on as she could just in time as she felt the bludger hit the end bristles of her broom, and then to rub salt into the open wound the bloody git of a Slytherin got to the quaffle first. Girty felt like punching something but seeing as the Slytherin was all the way over there and the quaffle, was now being past back to Erys.
With her shoulder still throbbing in pain Girty turned the broom around with one arm and flew off towards the soaring quaffle, she was in sure determination to get to it first, no matter what. She was convinced she heard another bludger fly her way but she did not care, the sounds of the crowd was muted by the wind and the blood pumping in her ears. Reaching out with both arms, letting out a groan of pain due to her shoulder Girty managed to get a hold of the Quaffle.
Bring the broom to a stop Girty looked out for the blond haired Slytherin and as her eyes found him she gave him a small cheerful wave and pointed to the red ball in her hand. “And the half breed beats you once again!” She shouted back at him in retaliation to his earlier comment.
Somehow managing to keep an actual joyful smile on her face Girty gave him a small wink before flying off in a straight line as fast as her broom could manage against the on coming wind and the splattering of rain. She weaved in between the other players laughing through the pain. Looking above her she felt the cool sensation of the rain hit her face and then she spotted one of her side’s chasers. With a shout of “OI! DOWN BELLOW!” Girty threw the quaffle up in the air at them.

Having to spend a little extra time playing kamikaze-ballerina as rain and bludgers shot at her, the Slytherin managed to give them the slip and fly to Ricky's aid. And here came Erys! "Not so fast!" She cackled, a blur as she clapped her hands around the quaffle as Girty passed it to her teammates. "One more try?" She laughed merrily to Ricky, barrelling towards the other end of the field with the quaffle tucked firmly to her stomach. The wind whipped her purple cloak as she hurtled across the pitch, confident he was close behind.
Having passed many times, Erys was now free and able to score. Nearly slamming into the hoops herself, she whirled around them, flicking out her wrist sharply to whip the ball into the center hoop. Go in, damn you! GO IN! She was tired of going back and forth, with no scoring taking place and that damned Girty getting in the way of things. Why, look how she had hurt Ricky! The nerve. Speaking of Ricky, he should be close by in case the keeper made it in time for the save. Things should run a little smoother after that, if he intercepted the pass from the keeper to the enemy players. If the keeper or anybody else didn't save it, it would sail right in. HOUSE POINT UPDATE- - - Gryffindor - - - | - - - Hufflepuff - - - | - - - Ravenclaw - - - | - - - Slytherin - - -

As the quaffle found its way into the arms of Erys Grace once again Girty closed her eyes and took a deep breath almost trying to compose herself and the reframe from screaming the stadium down. It felt like she was doing all the work and then not getting anything in return, well her team did have 20 points but Girty felt that was enough for the physical exhaustion that was already spreading through her. But she had to be strong if she wanted her team to win and if that meant she had to push herself to her limits then she would do that.
Speeding up Girty followed the purple blurs of Ricky and Erys, they were getting closer and closer to the hoops and Girty gritted her teeth together and the cold ain seemed to be making more frequently. Erys did not seem to be stopping and Girty but Girty knew that Bray would be paying attention and put a stop to her little attack, but the centre hoop was open and that is what she was going for. At any other moment Girty would have had faith in Bray and his keeping skills but in the heat of the moment, anger and pain pumping through her veins the Hufflepuff dived in the way and let the quaffle hit her straight in the stomach.
The wind was taken out of her and with a slight wheeze Girty chased after the falling quaffle and picked it up gingerly not wanting to really look at the two Slytherin chasers, for some reason she was starting to fear for her own safety on the pitch and holding onto the quaffle for such a long period of time might not have been the best thing. Looking around she saw another orange clad chaser and threw it in their direction, giving a nervous glance at Erys and Ricky wondering what evil thoughts were going through their minds at the moment.

Last minute substitution and Jac was in the game, now as a chaser. She had always been quick on a broom and showed it as she flew between the two orange players and intercepted the pass. This was the easiest way to intercept it but there were other ways.
Her hair was fastened back, out of her face, so as she looked around for where Erys and Ricky had disappeared to she could see clearly. Girty was fast behind her, she was certain, having just flown right past her and stealing her pass. Jac knew she couldn't hold onto the hot potato for very much longer.
Purple. There it was. She threw the quaffle as hard as she could towards the purple and quickly pulled hard up on her broom so she would slow down and get into Girty's way without looking like it was intentional. Not necessarily the best move but it would slow the girl down a bit, let her own team get ahead. Flying dirty wasn't only for Slytherins.

Girty was convinced she was going to lie in bed tonight and see purple blurs when she closed her eyes because that was all she was seeing now. Her rash decision to get rid of the quaffle and quickly as she did clearly did not work as one of those pesky purple blur’s caught it….but this was a different blur.
“Jac!”
The Hufflepuff’s mouth dropt open but there was no time to linger she needed to keep up with the Gryffindor and make sure she did not lose sight of her or more importantly the quaffle. She had thrown it at another purple player but there was a closer purple player…Jac had slowed down right in front of her. Unlike Ricky Girty did not really want to crash into her best friend but there was no choice in the matter, trying to slow down Girty pulled her broom up and to the right and it slowly turned around so instead of a head on crash it was the rear of the brooms that touched.
“Very smooth Jac.” Girty joked as she finally came to a hault; she had never really stopped in the middle of a Quidditch game and had a chat with one of the opposing players. If anything the small break gave her shoulder a rest but she had lost all sight of the quaffle and by now she could only guess that a purple clad player had took hold of it.

Helena was terribly exhausted--- I swear, I'm a solar powered person, she thought to herself as the rain slapped onto her face--- she could see small drops on her long eyelashes, which she blinked away.
In fact, Helena was so tired that she couldn't intercept a pass, only feebly stretch out her arm as the quaffle slid through her wet fingers. Helena took a deep breath and mentally pressed her 'restart' button.
She noticed Jac and Girty's collision-like thing. Helena couldn't tell if it was a tactic of Jac, trying to slow down Girty but either way, Helena moved forward, eyes wide and hair slicked back.

Elated at how Girty had scored their second successful goal of the game, Jamie beamed around the pitch. However it did not remain for long, When ever Jamie moved into a clear space, a purple clad player would either appear next to him, or he would have to dive out of the path of a hurtling bludger.
Girty was now officially in the wars, she had shoulder barged Daines, both of which were hardly better off after the collision. And then she almost collided with Jac aswell. The quaffle had been out of his hands for too long. He followed it with his gaze searching for an opening. Jamie cursed as he noticed Helena fumble and miss the quaffle. This was his opportunity. He dived for the quaffle. Though he need not have done so with such urgency as it was a relatively easy catch. However he doubted it would have been, if he were not wearing his quidditch gloves. The quaffle was now wet and slippery.
Jamie now shot off towards the opposing hoops, with some speed. Looking around him at all possible opportunities for a glimpse of orange. And there it was, Jamie put a large amount of effort into this throw, because it had to cover some distance. Hoping against hope, one of his team-mates would get it once more.

This time, Helena was ready. As she saw the quaffle, she quickly wiped her hands on the bright orange robes and grabbed it, pelting towards the goals as fast as she could, as she desperately looked around for a flash of orange.
Oranges, I will not let you down! she thought as she finally saw a teammate pass by. Quickly but carefully, Helena passed the quaffle.

It had worked. Girty had been stopped and there was plenty of opportunity for one of her team mates to get the quaffle but another Ravepuff caught it. Jac smiled at Girty. "Hiya deary," Jac said cheerfully, winking at her. "See ya!" And with that she was off, flying behind Jamie. He past to Helena. Jac rounded and came from the front, facing her goal: their hoops.
Jac spun around on her broom and practically plucked the quaffle from Helena's hand. Sitting up straight again, Jac tucked the quaffle under her arm, knowing that the rain would make it slippery. Darting past the other team, Jac flew fast as she could and as soon as she saw a flash of purple she threw the quaffle towards it and headed ahead.

Jamie watched as Helena received the quaffle perfectly, and pelted off towards the goals once more. ‘Now was time for a quick but simple play!’ he thought to himself. Jamie shot off in the same direction as Helena tailing her and waiting for the pass back, seen as Girty was previously engaged elsewhere in battles on the pitch. However before he could get close enough behind Helena to catch the quaffle, Jac has snatched it back. Cursing Jamie swiftly turned direction and shadowed Jac back up the pitch again waiting for her to release it.
A short space of time after, Jac had thrown the ball at where a purple blur had been moments before, however they were already to far gone. Jamie took up his chance. He snuck up behind Jac and sped past her at a great speed tailing the quaffle she had just released. Outstretching his arm, he caught it with the tips of his fingers. “Thanks, I’ll be taking that!” he shouted over his shoulder at Jac. And rose swiftly, twisting as he did so and heading back in the direction of the opposing posts. He was halfway back, when he caught sight of an orange blur in the corner of his eye. “Here we go!” Jamie shouted at them.
