Right time to get back top reality, Jamie and Girty had shown everyone what they could do, how a true teamwork could be done, although now was time for them to get back to action. Erys and Jac had brought the Quaffle back into play and Girty was going for the tackle to get the Quaffle back. They had worked hard enough to get such a lead she was not going t just throw it away.
With one last salute to the cheering Hufflepuff fans Girty lowered herself on her broom and flew as fast as possible towards the purple blue that she knew would be Jac. Swerving from left to right around the other players on the pitch Girty focused and saw the red quaffle swap hands from the Slytherin to the Gryffindor. Grinning to herself Girty knew she needed to do something
Yet again Erys had just handed over the Quaffle and Girty could not help but mutter some rather rude words that would not be fit to repeat, this would mean having to use a few unlawful tactics again and against Jac as well. Oh well she would have to be adult about this and know that by the end of the game they would be laughing about it.
Flying close by the purple glad Gryffindor Girty gave small cough almost as if she was trying to get Jac’s attention, but when really it was her vain attempt of an apology. Flying as close as she could Girty barged into the side of Jac and ‘accidently’ her arm slipped and sadly as a result her elbow went into the Gryffindors ribs. TI was then did Girty reach out and plucked the Quaffle from Jac’s grasp. The move may not have been in keeping with the rules but it seemed that the rule book had been thrown out the window as soon as the game had started.
Zooming away with the Quaffle Girty made her way towards the hoops, weaving around trying to shake off any bludgers or on coming attacks from the other team. Glancing around Girty swore she saw Jamie and passed the quaffle as hard as she could in his direction, hoping that he would catch it.

Well she passed, and Jac lost it. Swearing loudly at Girty the Slytherin tore after her, doing a wide look with the hopes of intercepting it before Hubbles passed it off to Jamie. Swinging up with her broom and throwing her arms out to absorb the impact against her chest Erys was soon back in possession after Girty's throw was intercepted, and she banked widely, diving low to the ground and avoiding a bludger as it ricocheted towards her. Spiralling out of the way and sweeping up around the pole Erys shouted to Jac, cranking her arm back and throwing it as she was sure the Gryffindor would have made it to the other team's hoops for the final pass and the score.
Come on.. Erys thought, knowing Girty would probably be following after to intercept it again. There was nobody on this earth she hated more than the Hubbles Clan, except maybe Ashton or Stormwrath.

Finally her chance came when Erys finally passed the quaffle to her but Jac lost it, yes, she lost it. Girty swooped in before she could get a chance to get her hands firmly on the large red ball. Jac saw the scorn and contempt in Erys's face so quickly turned around and chased Girty down the pitch with Erys along side.
Girty passed and luckily for them, Erys managed to get it before anyone else could. "Yes," Jac hissed. Turning again, Jac felt like she was in a whirl wind, Jac trailed after Erys, ready for the pass. It came soon enough and Jac caught it with a smile on her face. Flying as fast as her broom would take her, Jac weaved between players.
They were closing in on her so Jac had to pass. She threw it to Erys, hoping she would catch it.

Girty swore loudly as Erys gained possession of the Quaffle after intercepting the pass. This was a good game and for the crowd she was sure it would be a thrilling watch but from where she was sitting it was starting to get frustrating. But then where was the fun in sport without getting angry from time to time and being forced to take your aggression out on your opponents. Diving down after the Slytherin Girty could not help but grumble to herself as she thought about had Erys not been there and Jamie had caught it then they would already been shooting on goal. But then that would be another scenario in another universe, Girty had to deal with this one and hope that she would be able to get possession back.
At the shout given towards Jac the Hufflepuff dived into action (quite literally) but failed to block the pass and it went straight to Jac. This would not deter her though and she went after Jac and reaching out managed to block the pass to the Slytherin. Gathering herself up and safely wedging the Quaffle under her arm Girty gave Erys a small little smug smile and headed off towards the goals. The problem was she knew all to well Erys would have her number now, and more then usual and as a result Girty was rather scared of holding onto the quaffle for too long.
Jamie came into view once again and volleying the Quaffle and giving it a good whack for the extra power Girty watched as the Quaffle hopefully went to her cousin.

Seeing her caught between players Erys angled herself closer, aiming to receive the pass but becoming intercepted. "Damn Hubbles." She muttered, shooting after Girty and flying up to catch the one for Syrus instead. Soaring quickly away to get back to Jac she cranking her arm back to throw it to Jac. If anyone tried to intercept it she'd kicj them in the gut. They wouldn't be intercepting this one. Erys prayed Jac would get it in before Girty intercepted it again, this match was long and tiresome and she just wanted to be done with it. The other players on her team were just deadweights, flying around and knocking into each other as if they didn't know how to play. They definitely needed another team tryouts session for new people.
If someone intercepted it she'd kick off after them.

Jac stared after Girty for a second before turning and following her down the pitch. It was all too annoying that all her hard efforts could be smashed aside by one silly little Puffball who was thinking exactly the same thing. Who was there that would take the quaffle when she passed? Jac was determined to make sure she was the on.
She wasn’t. Erys got there first. Jac wasn’t entirely sure that she knew how Erys got there but she was still happy that she did. Jac felt like calling out to her but she was too busy concentrating on flying and staying on her broom and on what Girty was doing and and and. There were just too many things to focus on all at once.
Erys passed and Jac again tucked it tightly under her arm, careering down the pitch towards the goal posts. “Here,” she called, and threw it towards Erys again.

Jamie-Syrus was enjoying the attention that the crowd were providing, it had truly been an amazing move by the two of them even if he said himself and he was sure that cousin Dan would be jumping up and down where he stood. Jamie-Syrus was so intrigued by this small fact that he did actually look and just like he had predicted there was Dan standing on the bench shouting himself hoarse.
It was during this small lapse in concentration that the purple team took hold of the quaffle and was making their way towards their hoops. Girty managed to intercept it and as fast as her could Jamie-Syrus tried to make up for his earlier lapse in concentration but was too slow and the Slytherin got in the way and was diving off again. There was a quick change in hands, Erys to Jac, and then Girty managed to get in the way. Knowing this was his moment again Jamie-Syrus got into possession and waiting to get the pass.
Yet again Erys for in the way and Jamie-Syrus would not stand for that, chasing down the Slytherin he was ready for when she passed it to her purple team mate. The moment came but Jamie missed the chance, he would have to get it when it reached Jac. The time came and Jamie dived in the way, taking hold of the quaffle, spinning around on his broom and flying off towards Girty. Once they were a suitable distance he threw the quaffle and waited for Girty to catch it.

Everything was happening so quickly Girty was getting lost herself, she could not remember who was passing to who and in fact who even had the quaffle. Pausing for a moment the Hufflepuff tried to regain her bearings. It seemed that Jac had the quaffle and was about to pass it to Erys, but then there was a blur of Orange. Jamie-Syrus had jumped back into action and had stolen the Quaffle off the Gryffindor.
The Hufflepuff made her way further up the pitch ready to get the pass and as she looked over her shoulder and saw the quaffle come towards her though the rain. Reaching out she took hold of the quaffle trying to make sure that Girty did not let it slip out of her hands. Getting a bit more grip she weaved her way around the opposition, dodged a few bludgers and made her way towards the goal.
Noticing that they were getting closer to the hoops and the possibility of a goal Girty could not help but smile. Looking around frantically Girty saw Jamie in the distance, and carefully she tossed the quaffle towards him in hope that they would be able to string more passes together and get a goal!

As soon as the quaffle had been released, both of Jac's hands returned to the handle of her broom. It was a smooth finish that she had been working on getting just as smooth as magically possible for a number of weeks now and she was all too pleased with the finished result. As the game went on, Jac had not focused on this as it would have taken her attention off the game but it certainly helped her concentration stay on the game. There was nothing worse then a splintering, painful-to-hold broom that you have to fly for a whole game.
Erys didn't get the pass. Jac watched Jamie fly off with the quaffle and with a slight delay in her reaction Jac was off after him. They had been so close to the goals too and he just had to come and steal their thunder, didn't he? Silly Puffball. Well, it did occur to Jac that that was the point of the game but it still irritated her. He passed unexpectedly and Girty got the quaffle so Jac changed direction and tailed her, until she opened herself to it.
Jac flew from below, twirling around like a ribbon on a rotating stick, and she caught the large ball. As she tucked it into her chest, Jac leveled out, still relatively high but flying towards the goals none the less. Where was Erys? Jac suddenly couldn't see her. The Gryffindor dropped down slowly as she hastily dashed toward the oppositions goal. There, and Jac spotted Erys. The Gyrffidor whistled loudly to get the Slytherin's attention and then circling overher, Jac dropped the quaffle when she was over Erys's head.

Erys had zoned out at the worst possible time, though luckily Jac had gotten the quaffle back and had circled over by the opposing team's hoops where the Slytherin was hovering there like a moron. "Sorry about that." She grinned, arms up to catch the quaffle as the Gryffindor dropped it from above. She was a few feet from the hoops, there was no way she could miss this time, the PeachPuffs last time she checked were still on the other side of the pitch. Shooting the last few feet between her and the hoops Erys pitched it at the center hoop, and if Bray even thought about getting in the way she'd kick him off his broom. Lousy kitty.
Whistling at Jac to get her attention so they were both ready for the possible interception the Slytherin held her breath, waiting. A great load of time in this game was spent on waiting. Did the crowd realise there were less than six people active in this game? The rest of the team should get kicked off.

[[ sorry bunny, needed one more post ]]
Erys received the pass beautifully and Jac managed to stay on her broom, no problem. She did enjoy the fancy flying and did is as often as she could, though she knew that it was dangerous - how her sister, Allona had broken all the bones she had. And she had broken many, many more then once too. Jac didn't fancy the idea of being benched for the rest of the game, or any of the game in fact, while her bones were mended.
Jac flew ahead of Erys, knowing that she was smaller and quicker then the Slytherin. Jac would quite happily let Erys this but it was not the time nor the place. It could wait till after the game, after they won, otherwise it would just sound accusatory. Jac waited for Erys to make the shot for the goal before she swooped in from below and shot to the other goal, the left hand goal, and threw the quaffle towards it.Goal! 40 - 90 - Posession is given to Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw.

{ I thought we had to pass twice before scoring. D: We passed four times back there! }
Wrinkling her face a little as the Gryffindor stole her thunder yet again the Slytherin gave a begrudging grin, but other than that she kept her hands on her broom and stayed moving, as the bludgers were getting antsier and antsier by the second. If that was even how you spelled the word. "We were cleared!" She shouted to Jac, a little irritated but quite capable of getting over it soon enough. "And why the hell aren't the rest of our team helping us?" She remarked angrily, and loudly one might add, so Jac could add her agreeance. She hoped greatly that the Headmaster would notice the lack in activity and call for more tryouts. Hopefully then Erys could get her bludger spot back, but then again she wan't a bad chaser.
Ducking and rolling with her hands still clasped around her broom handle as a bludger shot through the space her head used to occupy the Slytherin stuck her tongue out at it, smirking and shifting so that she flew away from it. Damned thing. HOUSE POINT UPDATE- - - Gryffindor - - - | - - - Hufflepuff - - - | - - - Ravenclaw - - - | - - - Slytherin - - -

As she hovered high above the quidditch pitch, Ali was pretty nervous, this being her first game of quidditch being the new chaser. Being from a quidditch mad family, she was the only one to actually apply to be in the team from all the kennedy kids, but she knew Bryn and Brooke were proud, but of course they would be cheering for the other side as they were Gryffindor. As the wind blew her a few feet from her original placement, she sped forwards as the quaffle was released, snatching it just in time before spinning round and backwards slightly. Gaining height, she thrust forward at speed on the outlook of who to pass the quaffle too next.
Swirving a purple robed player who Ali took to be the slytherin Erys, she bumped up over her, almost clipping the girls head with the end of her broom before looking around in desperation for a sight of some orange. Just when she needed it most, Girty popped up from nowhere and Ali thrust the quaffle at her, hoping she would grip it well.
Her voice echoed slightly as a breeze flew by as she shouted at Girty. “GO GO GO!” she said comically with a smile before speeding off back underneath the slytherin.

That has been a very tough fight and all the flying backwards and forwards had taken it out of Girty. Her shoulder was killing her, the cold from the rain was numbing and she had to check her hands just to make sure that her fingerers had not fallen off. When the cheers sounded out signalling another goal Girty could only give a small whimper of disgust, but then with the lead they had it was not the end of the world really.
Giving Jamie a small shrug Girty urged her broom forward, trying to keep herself moving in an attempt to keep warm. She knew once she was back in the action again she would soon warm up and forget about the rain. Her wish was soon granted when Ali brought the quaffle back into play and headed off on a charge towards the opposite goals.
Swerving around the oncoming traffic Girty dodged a Bludger and had to dive out of the way of a purple chaser, most likely Ricky, which threw the Hufflepuff off completely. Looking around desperately she finally saw a blur of orange that she finally found Ali again and popped up just in time for the Quaffle to come sailing towards her through the rain. Reaching out Girty took hold of it and swiftly took off, carrying on the charge towards the goals trying to help pull the Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw side even more points ahead.
As the hoops grew bigger Girty looked around for another Orange player and out of the corner of her eye she saw Ali once again. With a loud whistle Girty quickly threw the red ball towards her team mate, hoping that no one was going to get in the way.

Her fingers were beginning to feel sore against the wood of the broom and the rain and she couldn’t wait until this long game had finally finished. Honestly, it felt as if it had gone on for 10 pages!
As Ali stayed close enough to Girty to help her out, she stayed far enough away to be able to intercept anything that may go wrong such as Girty losing grip of the quaffle and the hungry wolves awaiting underneath. As they continued to fly, spots of rain hit Ali hard in the face at the fast pace of the flying and some hit her eye, making her blink rapidly.
As she looked back to check on Girty, the quaffle got thrust at her, and Ali somehow managed to catch it, good reactions she guessed, however she almost dropped it as the pass was an awkward one. Cradling it under her arm, she nodded at Girty in a way of asking her to keep guard while she went for it and sped forwards, blinking away the rain as the hoops became nearer and nearer. Skidding her broom sideways, she aimed at the right hoop and threw it with all her energy through the ring. Goal!40 - 100 - Posession is given to Gryffindor/Slytherin.
