Sighing as she was paired with a Gryffindork, she looked over to him, before rolling her eyes slightly and walking over to him. She could deal with this for the sake of winning, and she was extremely competitive. Just this once she would overlook his Gryffindor 'condition'.
"You just better be competitive, Jase" she said in the tone she normally spoke, a fierce one. Pulling at her pencil skirt, she realised it wasn't the best idea to wear heels today. Stepping onto the transporter with Jase, they got whizzed to somewhere in the Labyrinth, and wobbling slightly, stepped off. Pulling her shoes off, she charmed them into a pair of sneakers, and although she was in a tight pencil skirt and jacket, not the best outfit for crawling round a labyrinth, she would have to make do. Placing her wand between her teeth, she bent down and began Ripping either side of her skirt slightly, so she had more room to manouever around. Looking up at Jase, she realised he had begun to walk off. Standing up again, she pulled her wand from her mouth.
"Oi, ladies first. Besides, if you just go off, you don't know what's around the corner, play smart" She hissed slightly before raising her eyebrow and tapping her head. Boys, honestly. Right now she needed someone with brains. Jay would be good in a situation like this.

She couldn't believe that they were being thrown into a Labyrinth, and if she didn't have a chat with Jack the day before to calm her nerves over finals, then she would surely have a panic attack again, but thankfully she had gotten everything off her chest. Giving a thumbs up to Polaris and Alice, she mouthed a 'good luck'.When Jason turned up beside her and told her she would be fine by reeling off a list of her thoughts and worries, she turned, open mouthed to him.
"Ho-...how do you know what i'm thinking?" she enquired, stepping on the transporter. It was too late to recieve an answer before they appeared in the Labyrinth. The grassy walls surrounded them and Via felt betrayed by the one thing she loved most; Nature. "Merlin's beard" she said, flabbergasted at the sheer madness of the labyrinth. "Well, let's just hope we come across some snake's aye? I can hopefully get them to help us" she smiled, feeling more comfortable with the slytherin.

"Oh, Im competitive." Jase snipped back, "You just better be able to keep up with me." Jase spoke as got transported. So here he was, in the Labyrinth, a thing he did not like with someone he liked even less. Note: Shout at Jack when he gets back. He watched as she ripped her skirt and smirked, "Dont think by showing leg you can seduce me, I'm happily relationshipped thankyou." He only said it to wind her up and didnt pay attention to whatever else she said, if she said anything at all. As he stepped into the Labyrinth, the walls seemed to tower, making even this Gryffindor slightly nervous. Either Jack wanted them all dead, or this was going to be a lesson to remember.
"Well I see no ladies about so I figured my going first wouldnt hurt." Then turning to Morgana, his brow furrowed as he pushed his fringe from his eyes. "Do you treat your boyfriend this badly? Cause My My My, you're evil."

Great, he got her name wrong. It wasnt his fault he couldnt say it. Mumbling it to himself, "Air-ees. Air-ees. Erys! Got it-waa!" Bryn thought as he was pushed on the transporter, about to yell what was that for, but his words got muffled as white light filled his eyes. Stumbling off the porterpad he blinked, his grey eyes trying to get focus back as a loud sound echoed behind him and Erys came came out claiming she had this. Stepping back he gave the muddy floor to her and watched as she transformed, about to compliment her, though a lightening bolt hit her, and some began to chase her, making him laugh stupidly hard. When she reverted back, he raised an eyebrow, "Yeah, looks like you have it all under control, Miss Kitty-Has-No-Claws" Walking towards the door he added, "Lets do it the old fashioned way."
Once the two entered, Bryn looked around, "Whoa.." came his tone, "Lookit the size of them walls." Bryn laughed, turning to Erys as a huge noise came behind her, the door vanished. "Oh well, least we cant go back so onwards we march!" He laughed and began to walk through the Labyrinth. Checking around corners as he went, acting like some kind of army guy from a muggle movie, "All clear Alpha girl," Looking upto her he sighed, "Well we may as well have a bit of fun, unless you dont want to. After all, this is meant to be fun." He smiled, though added, "I think."

Alice listened closely to what the Professor had to say about the Labyrinth and gave small gasps every time he mentioned something new. Dax had been right about it all; there were creatures of all sorts and hexes and…the headmaster. The little Hufflepuff gave a slight laugh at this point trying to think of what Professor Hubbles might actually be doing in the maze. As the partners were announced the young Hufflepuff grinned happily when she saw she was with Polaris, she seemed a very nice person and had a strong feeling they would make a cool team.
Everyone in the classroom started to move to get into their mini teams and Polaris was now standing right next to her, her hand taking hold of hers and leading the Hufflepuff towards the transporter. With a small smile at the older student Alice nodded her head.
“We ain’t going to come last, not if I can elp it!” The second year held her bag strap tightly as the classroom vanished from around them and was replaced with the walls of the Labyrinth. Taking a deep breath Alice made sure that she was still in one piece and she still had her wand before looking up at the Ravenclaw ready for her to lead the way.
(Right you have permission to God Mode me Ze my dear seeing as I am vanishing on you for a while! I have faith in your decisions hehe!)

Returning the smile and nodding, Polaris unsheathed her wand and kept it by her side as she took the initial steps into the labyrinth with Alice behind her. I wonder how this will turn out.. Were the toughts in her mind as she headed straight before stopping at a fork.
"Right or left?" Alice and her had hesistated for enough time before Polaris took her wand and mumbled something, causing the wand to point towards the right. "I knew divination was good for something. Come on, Alice. It's this way."
This was going surprisingly easy for them, which meant that something was going to pop up any minute now. She just had hoped everything would be decent on the terms of danger. Not that she minded a challenge, she just didn't know what the young Hufflepuff was capable of.

Jason smiled faintly before slipping his wand out of his sleeve and holding it by his side. "We'll discuss that later, yeah? Let's get going." He stated more than asked as he stepped out in front and lead the way. It's true, he was a Slytherin, but unlike any of his other house mates, Jason was actually polite when need be. It's not like he was going to bite your head off the minute you speak to him if you aren't from his house.
"You better know your stuff, Thorn. And I want no negativity, it can really hinder us in our movement and fights." Nodding after speaking, he took a left, expecting Via to follow. Atleast he hoped she did, he didn't want to argue and lose time.

Sarie walked into the maze. She was ready she turned to see if Aston was following. SHe walked along the path till she came to the first fork. She stood there not knowing which way to go. "What do you think Ash?"
She didn't like the feel of the maze the air was thick. She shivered and hoped they would get out quickly. She knew the city would be hard but at least she wouldn't have to worry about this feeling.

As Via began to walk side by side with Jason, she heard him mumble something about knowing her stuff, but the sheer madness of this defence against the dark arts lesson was clouding her thoughts for a moment before she snapped out of it and concentrated.
"Well, let's hope Herbology doesn't fail me now. Like I said, being a parselmouth might help if snakes cross our path" she replied as they came to their first crossroads. The directions led in four different ways, and Via had no idea where to go. "I suppose it doesn't matter which way we go does it? I usually get feelings about things but here, I'm getting nothing. What do you think?"

Morgana scoffed at Jase's snipe, before flicking her eyes over to him and raising her eyebrows. She wasn't going to retaliate to him just yet. "As if I'd want some disgusting Gryffindork perving over me, thank you very much" she stabbed.
"Happily relationshipped? Are you even speaking proper English? Besides, she must be in the psychiatric part of St Mungo's if she's put up with the likes of you" she smirked. So much for Morgana not retaliating. Okay, so far this wasn't the best way to win. She realised this, but she didn't need someone holding her back either.
"Look, are we going to win this thing or not? I don't really care who you are or if your...in a relationship or not, all I care about is getting first place, so are you in or out, because I can do this on my own" she asked, not snapping for once. This labyrinth was beginning to annoy her already.

"I suppose it doesn't matter which way we go does it?"
"It absolutely does, Miss Thorn. One wrong step and we could end up at a Dragon or something worse." He said, looking down at her with a frown. "But, let's see." Jason closed his eyes for a moment before placing his hand out infront of him, pointing at every direction. Now.. "My. Mother. Punched. Your. Mother. What. Colour. Was. The. Blood." With each of the words he said, he pointed in a different direction, getting the feel of each of the roads.
"Yellow."
"Y-E-L-L-O-W." Ending with his wand pointing at the second path to the right, he smiled. "Guess that's the way, yeah?"

Some of the Students now entered the Labyrinth have begun their quest to reach the Castle in the Labyrinth.
Bryn Kennedy && Erys Grace: As you round your next corner, you notice something is not quite right. The air feels thick to you and you feel as though you are being watched. As you walk further down this thin passageway, you hear a cackle from what seems to be inside the wall. A click sounds and the floor beneath your feet opens up, sending you spiralling downwards. The tunnel you fall down is thick, and once you emerge you find yourself underground in a nasty smelling tunnel with no lighting. Something soft breaks your fall and you soon realise you have fallen into a pit of dead rats.
Polaris Stormwrath && Alice Simmons Your task is a simple one. As your round the corner, the wall behind you seals off, leaving you what appears to be stranded. You notice on the opposite walls is four panels. Your task is to press the panels in the right order. Use your brains and this will be easy for you. But beware the trouble you will cause if you get it wrong. Example Of Panel Layout: 21 3= 7+9
^^ Information on one panel Via Thorn && Jason Walker Your guessing was dangerous. You should have conversed with your partner, as it happens you chose the wrong way. As you walked the path behind you gets blocked off, a Welsh Green Dragon appears infront of you, as well as two boggarts which instantly turn into your worst fear. Keep your cool about you, play things smart and you may get out of this.

Via couldn’t help but laugh as Jason used a rather odd way to choose a path, but still at least they chose one right?
Wrong.
As soon as they walked down the appointed path, there was a loud thud and a screech. Looking up, Via saw a dragon, a welsh green if she was correct. Not that the type mattered right now, just the species of animal. Gulping back a quickly formed dry lump, she pulled her wand out just before a giant mandrake began rumbling out from the floor and a flock of vulture circled overhead.
Giving a quick glance to Jason, she nodded before shouting over the screams of the dragon. “Cover your ears!!” she said as the birds began to dive. “Aguamenti!!” she shouted, aiming it at the birds, putting them off for a few moments as the water spluttered furiously at them just as the Mandrake began to unearth itself. Almost uttering a swearword as the Mandrake was almost free from the ground, she felt guilty fighting a mandrake as it looked exactly like her mandrake sunny, but she knew it was only a boggart.
“Muffliato” she cast on jason before herself. It would only create a buzz in their ears but at least it wouldnt be filled by the fatal screams of the mandrake. As the screams of the Mandrake were still heard slightly, she began to feel faint, but took a deep breath and concentrated hard. Looking up, the birds were regaining their pattern and getting ready to swoop again. As they came down past the dragon that was now moving slowly towards the duo, she waited for a minute until the birds were near the Mandrake to feel the full effect of the spell.
“Riddikulus!!” she shouted, aiming the wand at the boggarts. A small flash came from her wand, but did nothing. “Come on wand don’t let me down now!” she panicked, slapping the wand against the palm of her hand. “Riddilukus” she said, realising she said it wrong. “Damn it, Jason it’s not working!!”. Come on Via, don’t panic, don’t panic! Get on with it! Don’t let yourself down, you can do it. As the mandrake finally unearthed itself the birds swooped for Jason again and Via managed to cast it just at the right time.
“Riddikulus!”

No amount of excessive swearing would ever describe the situation that Jason had gotten the both of them into. "Boggarts and a dragon. Great. @#^&ing Dragons,@#$%ing boggarts, ^@##ing VULTURES! %$%^, #@%$, #%^@!!!"
Jasons skin began to itch and his eye twitched for a moment as he stood hesitant for a moment, watching the events unfold before him. Easy, Jay. Easy. She has the... vultures.. under control. Deal with the dragon before things get out of hand. As soon as he knew it, buzzing filled his ears. "Buzzing! Uhg, as if there isn't anything more annoying than this damned buzzing!" Jason wasn't about to lose control, he was simply caught off guard.
Hazel eyes then matched gazes with the dragon that stood merely a few feet from them, yet many above them as well. With quick thinking, the Slytherin stood back to back with Via and held his wand up, trying to concentrate and ignore not only the buzzing, but the birds as well. Birds, of all things. @$%#ing birds! Quickly shaking the thought from his mind, Jason grinned, the perfect spell in his mind.
"Evanesco!" Were the words shouted from his lips, directed towards the quite enraged dragon. And that was that. The dragon had disappeared. Where it went, nobody knew, but it surely wasn't infront of them anymore, and Jason was glad. Hopefully it would reappear at the heels of Erys Grace, but one such as Jason knew he didn't have such luck.
Sighing before giving a smile towards Via, he laughed. "Well, we may have chosen the wrong way, but we sure as hell got through the problem presented to us."

Following Polaris Alice drew her wand nervously, the maze seemed so big and she had no idea where they were or even how they were going to get out. Without knowing it lice had dropt behind and she had to jog to keep up with the Ravenclaw, who was luckily leading the way. After a while of walking forward they eventually reached a fork and it was decision time, biting her lip the young Hufflepuff watched as the Ravenclaw charmed her wand to point them towards the right. Grinning from ear to ear Alice gave a small round of applause and trotted after the older student ready for something to strike out at them.
Something did happen and Alice jumped out of her skin, the walls around them moved so they were blocked off and had no where to go. The girls eyes grew wide and her hand tightened around her wand. Glancing around nervously the Hufflepuff spotted some panels on the wall and slowly wondered over towards them, her mouth open ever so slightly as she started at the numbers on them.
Maths was never her strong point and just seeing all these different numbers that made no sense just made her feel dizzy. The numbers at the top did not make sense when it came to adding them together and she was unsure if you were meant to times or divide them; maybe there was a sequence that they were meant to discover?
“I ain’t the best Mathematician in the world but I know Seventeen plus Eleven is Twenty-Eight…but the others don’t seem to work like that.”
With a small shrug Alice turned around to the Ravenclaw and hoped she would have a better idea then she did.
