Cristian carried on looking through draws. It may have looked as if he was being nosey, but infact he was looking for any signs of history. He felt eyes on him, and turned to Laney. "...what?" he questioned, as he noticed her smiling at him. "Do I have something on my face?" he said.

Carolanne pushed herself off the desk and walk towards Cristian. She studied his face so she could answer him truthfully, "Actually, yeah you do," she said brushing a cobweb off his face near his hairline. "I got it though," she said with a smile. She continued to look up at him for a moment before turning around and looking at the desk. "What are you looking for, exactly?" she asked as she opened a drawer and peeked into it.

Cristian went cross-eyed as he watched her pull the cobweb from his face. "Thanks" He muttered. "Erm, well i'm just looking for anything interesting, you know, so I can see what Hogwarts students were like years ago and stuff. Anything, like a notebook or something" he said this just as he looked at a desk in the corner near the front, he found what he was looking for, a small black notebook, covered in dust, and on the front golden embossed letters reading 'The diary of Jules Watersmith'.

Carolanne looked at the diary that seemed almost ancient. She brushed off a spot on the desk and sat down. She crossed her legs and gently kicked Cristian with one of them, "Well, Mr. History, what does it say?" she asked brushing her bangs away from her eyes.

Cristian smiled at the evidence he had just found. He cleared his throat and repeated it to Laney, "'The Diary of Jules Watersmith.' Dear Diary, Today has been hell. My potions professor has been ruining my life and I seem to do everything wrong. He really hates me. Just because i'm a Hufflepuff. Stupid Slytherins. Grey has been ignoring me, I don't know what's wrong with him. I thought he loved me. Signed, Jules'" Cristian looked at Laney. "Oh dear" He stated. He carried on with the date. "This entry is dated 16th October, 1945. Bloody hell!" He passed it over to Laney. "Here, you read the next one."

Laney listened intently as he read the diary entry. She gave a small pout, "Aww, poor Jules," she said softly. When she was handed the diary she flipped the page and skimmed it over. "Boring," she muttered about that entry. She read the next on to herself and cleared her throat.
"Dear Diary,
Today I caught up with Grey after class. I could see in his eyes that something had changed. When I tried to get it out of him, he pushed me aside and went off with his friend, Mary. The way Mary looked at me from the other side of the hallway made me question their relationship. I'm starting to think they're becoming more than friends. I don't want to ask about it though because I'm afraid Grey will hate me for questioning him.
Signed, A Confused Jules
Laney stared at the piece of paper, "That Grey is a jerk," she exclaimed. She handed it back to Cristian, "That one was dated two days later. I think I'm done reading," she said one the book was away from her.

Cristian listened as Laney read the entry. "He sounds a right idiot" he said. "Dya reckon I should keep this and read it when I have chance? I'll return it later" he said reassuringly.

Laney shrugged and dangled her legs, "I'm sure no one will miss it for a while," she said with a smile. "If you want to read it that bad, I don't see the problem," she finished.

Cristian smiled at Laney. He put the diary in his back pocket and stood just infront of Laney's legs. "Are you just gonna sit here and look all cute?" he smirked at her.

Laney smiled at Cristian and gave a slight nod, "It's what I'm good at," she said dangling her legs once more, "What would you rather me do? Search the room destroying a peice of history one desk at a time?" she asked with a laugh.

Cristian smiled and moved closer to her. "I'll tickle you again" he said being playful, in all honesty, he was dying to kiss her, he just hoped she's start it.

Laney smirked at him, "I dare you to," she said grabbing his shirt and pulling him closer. She stared into his eyes for a moment, the smile still playing on her lips. She leaned in slowly and let her lips collide with Cristian's.

Cristian laughed as Laney pulled him by his shirt, to then be interupted by a kiss. Her lips were smooth and gentle. He kissed her back. After a moment they finished, Cristian didn't know what to say or where to look. He rubbed the back of his neck.

Laney blushed and looked away. She brought her fingers to her mouth and the touch of Cristian's lips still lingered on her own. Carolanne let her hand fall back down as she turned and faced Cris again. Something was bothering him, or so she thought, "You alright?" she asked with a smile.

Cristian had been waiting to do that since he first saw her. However, she'd caught him off guard and he wasn't ready for it. He turned back to her and smiled. "Oh, nothing" He said. He looked at her again, and began to kiss her again.
