The Charms classroom is quite as for once as Professor Dan Hubbles is not banging around knocking things over or blowing things up. In fact the only noise that came from that room this morning was the Professor attaching a note to the door. And the note read thus:
Lesson to be held on the castle roofs. Please go threw the trapdoor from the astronomy tower and then you will see me. You will need your wand, commonsense and a good stomach for heights
Just like the note stated Dan was sitting on the castle roof in a deckchair with his sunglasses on. He had a glass of pumpkin juice in one hand and a book in the other and next to him was a create full of Butterbeer and chocolate frogs. It was not really the weather for relaxing in the sun, in fact the sun only made occasional appearances through the cloud covered sky. Every so often the Professor would look over the top of his book and at the trapdoor just to make sure that non of his students where waiting for him.
With a reluctant sigh Dan glanced down at his watch and then over the castle roofs. In the distance he could see the occasional flickering of flames and the sound of water from the obstacles he had set up earlier this morning ready for the lesson.
OCC: Ok I always like to try and make my lessons different and I have put a lot of thought into this one….I just hope it works as well it is planned in my head haha. So basically this lesson is rather like an assault course. (robbed the idea off the Harry Potter, Goblet of Fire game when MadEye makes them run around the roofs of Hogwarts doing random thing) I will post every week to move it long and post up the next stage of the course. So next Monday I will start the lesson properly, just for now people need to join in. The more the merrier really as I will divided people up into teams by pulling names out of a hat (yes I am that sad) and the winning team of each stage will get points for their houses.
If anyone has any problems or ideas please PM! Hufflepuff: 20 Ravenclaw: 25 Gryffindor: 15 Slytherin: 15

Sarie entered a class room. She looked around the room. The was room was emtpy. She looked at the black bord to see a note written on it. She read it. Then muttered to her self. "Oh great." Then headed of to the astronomy tower.
She climbed up to see Professor Hubbles. "Hey, what are we learning today?" She looked over the roof tops.

Adam had just finished breakfast and was now headed to his first class of the day. Charms. Arriving at the Charms classroom, he saw the note on the door stating that they were having the lesson outside on the roof. Excellent! he thought excitedly to himself. Turning around, he made his way to the Astronomy tower, he climed up onto the roof of the tower and looked around to see another Gryffindor and Professor Hubbles. He nodded at both of them, and flashed his charning smile. He turned to the Gryffindor girl. "Hi there. I'm Adam. Adam de Mocenigo." he said in his slight Italian accent.

Hi, I'm Sarie. Sarie Thimble." She muttered. "Nice to meet you adam." She looked over the roof tops again. "You like the view." She waved over the roof. She began boncing on the balls of her feet.

Adam smiled. "I love the view." He turned to Professor Hubbles. "So, what's on the agenda for today Professor?" he asked curiously.

Pixle trudged slowly to the Charms classroom, only to be directed to the Astronomy tower. ’This really is becoming a swell day…’ she thought with a grimace as she stalked up several flights of stairs to reach the star-gazing haven, and—after extracting her wand and leaving her bag in the tower--yet more to reach the roof of the building. She saw the Gryffindor girl from her Dragonology class already there, talking with a much older boy of Gryffindor house. ’No bullies yet…’ she thought callously as she awaited further instructions from the famed Professor Hubbles.

Something felt different today, and Erys hadn't put a paw on it until seeing the the note on the Charms door. She hadn't brought her bookbag today, only her wand, and after seeing that piece of paper she knew why. Well, this was much more exciting! Nodding appraisingly, the Slytherin turned, heading quickly but gracefully for the Astronomy tower. Hoisting herself easily through the trapdoor, she arrived to find the professor, two Gryffindors, and that blasted show-off Ravenclaw. At least Pixle had ended up in the house she did, because if she was in Hufflepuff, Erys would surely get docked for messing around with her. Hubbles had that bias, she couldn't forget. She'd have to be careful, if any one of them showed up.
Walking slowly towards the edge, the seventh year peered over it, feeling a shiver of excitement slither down her spine. Erys had no problem with heights, she was in Quidditch afterall. Hopefully Veata and Joshua showed up, she'd need more than one Slytherin. Plus, it'd be fun, if they were sorted into some kind of teams and ended up on opposite ones. He had no idea how competitive Erys could get, and that was going to rock. Stepping away, she turned her attention back on the professor, smiling sweetly. "Yes professor, what do you have planned?"

Maria reached the door of the Charms classroom and sighed upon reading the note. Now, she had to walk all the way up to the roof for the lesson. She started up to the roof, curious as to what exactly their lesson was going to be like.
When she stepped onto the roof and looked around she saw only a few other students had already arrived. Realizing that she didn't really know any of them, she stood off to the side by herself, silently waiting for the class to begin.

Angel forced herself to go to class. She was ready to take her seat and relax for a while but when she opened the door she found the room completely empty. Muttering curses under her breath she saw the note about meeting up on the room. Rolling her eyes she wanted to just forget the whole darn thing and go back to he Slytherin common room, but she knew it would probably get her into trouble and she wasn't in the mood for people jumping down her throat.
Sighing she turned and made her way to the astronomy tower and out to the roof. She noticed several other students there already but she zoomed in on Erys her fellow Slytherin and walked right over to her. As she made her way to her she heard her asking the teacher what they'd be doing today. When she got close enough she whispered to her.
'It better be ineteresting for making us come all the way up here.'
She smiled winking at the dark haired beauty.

Having been waiting for the professor's answer, she suddenly turned her head. Watching the trapdoor to the roof like a hawk, Erys smiled when she saw Angelique come through. She had smelt her from here. "Hey Ange." Grinning at her words she nodded, whispering, "Oh yeah. This should be fun." Maybe they'd even get some exercise today. That was a nice change, more pleasant than pumping weights for an hour up in the common room. Erys was probably the only one who did it anyway, since she always did it alone.
Looking back at Hubbles again, she waited for his explanation on the day's lesson. Why was it on the roof? If it had anything to do with jumping around, her catlike reflexes and speed should give her a bit of an advantage. Of course, the professor didn't know she was an animagus. What he didn't know wouldn't hurt him in this case. Erys was determined to earn more points for Slytherin, and hopefully this class she might get some. Angelique would help her for sure, they were united in their cause to win the house cup this year, were they not?

Alexis had noticed the note in the classroom and headed straight for the roof. Opening the trapdoor she glanced at all the students already up there. She didn't know about being on the roof top. She wasn't afraid of heights seeing as she was on the Quidditch team but the roof well that was a bit different. Trying not to think of where she was she finished ascending the stairs and walked onto the roof making sure not to look to the edges because she didn't want to see the way down.
What were they doing up there? Why a class here? Came her thoughts as she looked for the professor hoping he had a great explanation for it. This had better be an awesome class to make up for making her feel comfortable.

Despite her mood Angel couldn't help smile back at Erys. That was her one soft spot, her house mates. She was a Slytherin through and through and would always be loyal to those of her own house. The rest of the students well she had no use for them they were just there to fill up space as far as she was concerned.
Soon though Angel turned to look at the professor but she caught sight of a Ravenclaw emerging. She looked terrified and Angel felt it was her duty to point this out.
'Someone looks like she's about to loose it up here. Wonder if there's anything we could do to help the poor deer feel better.'
Angel's gray eyes lightened and a look of maliciousness came over her. Picking on the others was something she liked doing it made her feel better especially when she was feeling down like now.

Dan heard people come throw the trap door, but at that present moment in time he was more concerned about what was happening in his book and anyway the common curtsies that took place at the start of a lesson could easily be avoided. That was until people started to address him and no matter how enwrapped in his book he was there was no way of ignoring people who were directly addressing him no matter how hard he tried. When each student greeted him he nodded his head and offered them a wave in greeting however he kept his eyes trained on his book. That was however until he heard a very familiar voice, the voice of Erys Grace. Rolling his eyes he wanted her to have to wait like everyone else as he did not feel like explaining it over and over again. But he could feel her gaze was still fixed upon her and he started to feel slightly uncomfortable.
Closing his book with a bang Dan placed it down on his lap and slowly pushed his sunglasses down his nose so that he could see her clearly with his own eyes. Even though he had a frown upon his face he had to admire the girl for her persistence in getting the answer out of him, but then he was not going to let her win so easily.
“Miss Grace you are simply going to have to wait like the rest of the class.”
With a small smile he pushed the glasses back up his nose and took in a deep breath and opened his book once more, enjoying the Autumn sun that was breaking through the clouds. However he did feel slightly bad for just leaving them standing around she with his spear hand Dan reached down to the create beside him and pulled out a handful of chocolate frogs and threw them at the students who had already arrived. ‘That will keep them entertained for a while’ he thought to himself.

Alexis and her impeccable eye sight saw the choco frog coming towards her and she reached out her hand, hand eye coordination brilliant and caught it with no problem. Opening it up she took a bite enjoying it immensely but something was nagging at her.
Staring dumbfounded at the professor she found it odd that he was just sitting there reading a book while they were standing there waiting for him to start his class. If she didn't like the professor so much she might just have said something about it.
She noticed Sarie from Gryffindor so she walked over to her. All the while she felt someone watching her turning her head she noticed it was a Slytherin girl. Wondering what her problem was Alexis looked right at her seeing if she'd have the guts to say something to her.
Granted she was younger then her but she didn't care about that, if it came down to it she'd fight or hex or whatever it was to defend herself if she was their target.
She was so busy watching them that she had walked right into Sarie. 'Oh I'm so sorry about that Sarie I wasn't watching where I was going. You ok?'
