(Charms) T3:LII: Prior Incantato

Bella, not one to be intimidated, casually stood up and brought her completed paper to the front of the class. On her way up, she informed the class occupants, "my sister and i were merely discussing how fun it shall be to harass the ravenclaw sitting infront of us."

Bella liked this professor. She was prepared to bet a good portion of her inheritance that he was a Slytherin in his day. If not, then there was clearly some mistake.

Bella swaggered back to her desk and sat beside her sister.

[Girty Hubbles]

Girty pushed open the door to the classroom and slowly walked in. She looked around seeing a few familiar faces. With a small wave in the direction of Jac, Girty sat in the table near her and pulled out her stuff. She noticed that already Dan and Loren were not taking and giving each other evil stares, and that a Slytherin was already showing off in front of them all. Rolling her eyes Girty’s noticed the writing on the board and gave a soft chuckle. By now Dan would have got enough pieces of parchment full of right answers, she try and make hers a little more interesting.

1) What is it?
A spell that creates tiny images of what your spell had just done….thus meaning that if I decided to cover you in boils then the little image would show you in boils too….which by the looks of you today would be a great improvement.

2)Why would I use it?
To prove I am innocent of a crime that I did not commit, so next time I get caught out in an empty corridor which has turned a nasty shade of purple I will be able to prove it was not me!

3)Who would use it?
Is that not the same question twice Daniel?

Feeling rather pleased with her work and knowing that Dan would not dare take points away from her Girty pushed her chair out from under her desk and walked up to the desk and placed it down in front of the Professor. She hesitated for a moment not knowing whether to stay next to him or go back to her seat, finally she decided to return to her desk ready for the lesson to start properly.

Bella, already done with her assignment, peered over the shoulder of a Hufflepuff who had just entered.

look at her try to be all buddy buddy with the teacher. She thought to herself. Bella scoffed and rolled her eyes, before leaning back in her chair.

"Get a load of the Huffie," She muttered to her sister.

[Professor Daniel Hubbles]

Dan watched the Slytherin come closer as she seemed to like the idea of sharing her thoughts with the class. Raising an eyebrow at the suggestion of teasing Ravenclaw’s Dan was quite happy to let them carry on, however he knew that they needed to understand where Dan stood in the idea of punishment. With a glare he snatched the parchment off her only to be disappointed when he noticed that she had indeed written down the right answer. It was only the site of Girty entering that made him forget about the Slytherin.

He had started to get worried that Hufflepuff where not going to get nay points this lesson and he was more then thrilled that the Hufflepuff who decided to join them was his sister. With a small smile he idle looked around the room only too see the Slytherin’s smirking about something, and he had a good feeling about what.

“Is there something you find amusing Miss Black? I do love a good joke.”

As he sat waiting Girty walked over towards hi and handed over her answers, he scanned over them with a small smile on his face and glanced over at the Hufflepuff.

“Very cheeky answers Miss Hubbles, and correct, 10 points to Hufflepuff. And I will 5 to Slytherin also for your correct answers Miss Black, however they may soon be taken off you if I do not hear what was so funny.”

His voice began to get louder as his rage increased, if the Slytherin had made the mistake of disrespecting Hufflepuff they would be in trouble.

"Oh, professor," Bella answered. "I was only commenting on how close you and Girty seem to be. I can only assume by your last names that you are related. I wish I had an older sibling at the school, but, alas, Narcissa is younger."

Narcissa swatted at her arm.

[Professor Daniel Hubbles]

Once Dan had finally found out the reason why the girl’s were laughing he pushed himself from under his desk, letting his chair scrap along the tiled floor, before standing up. With a rather unimpressed look upon his face Dan began to clap sarcastically. The sound echoed around the class room and after a minute he finally stopped. Then with a voice that dripped with sarcasm, Dan turned on the Slytherin.

“Oh well done Miss Black. You were able to put two and two together. I thought only a genius would work out that we are related by noticing we had the same last names, but you proved me wrong. I think for your moment of inspiration I will take 5 points off Slytherin and if you open your mouth again I will be more then wiling to take every last point your house has. Do you understand that?”

Dan pulled his chair back towards him, scrapping it along the floor once more before slouching into his chair. With a deep breath Dan managed to compose himself once more and gave a quick glance to his watch. He would wait a bit longer for more people to turn up, and he hoped to wait in silence but he had a feeling that would not be achieved.

Bella could not contain a giggle. "Professor, were you a Slytherin? If you weren't then there was definitely a mistake."

She laid her head on her desk, unable to stop laughing. When she brought her head up again, she continued with, "But, I suppose not. No Slytherin would go one to head Hufflepuff house."

Narcissa laughed to herself. She knew she would like this class. 'Yeah, thats what we were laughing about...." She started to her sister. She smiled. "Actually I got a wiff of someth-" She was interrupted. By a shrill Ravenclaw voice she heard from the front row.

[Jac Shaw]

Jac rolled her eyes at Andie as the Slytherin girl carried on. She could not believe the cheek of some people. This was a surprise, even from a Slytherin. Girty walked in and Jac raised a hand to her and their eyes connected. She was happy that she had found a few civil people in this class. It was going to be a long lesson.

Bella whispered to her sister, "That thing is a warewolf!"

The sisters shuddered. Half-breeds.

[Prof Grace Marks]

Grace walked slowly into the Charms class and looked around. There seemed to be many people there and she assumed she was extremely late. She walked to Prof Hubble and handed him a note explaining that she was late due to a jinx gone wrong on the fourth floor. Being Head Girl she was responsible and had to deal with the situation. She added, "I'm sorry I'm late professor."

While standing next to the professor's desk she saw what was on the board and began formulating her answer even before she had contemplated going to her desk. She loved the professor's lessons but upon seeing Loren there, Grace got a slight jolt. It was then that see saw Girty. She waved at her and went to join her. As she passed, Grace spotted Andie and Jac sitting together and she smiled at each of them too, giving a little wave as she passed.

In her seat, Grace pulled out parchment and wrote her answer.

What it is is a spell used to bring a ghost image of the last spell cast by a wand.
It would be used by interrogators to see what the last spell cast was by a persons wand. A rather useful charm as it cannot be fooled.

She set her quill down and took her answer to the professor. She hesitated a moment, hovering at his desk. "Thank you, professor," she said, as he took the parchment, then she shuffled to her desk again. "Hey Girty," she whispered very softly, "have I missed anything? I was so late!"
