To Dan’s surprise someone came forward and admitted to casting the spell at him, he found it hard not to smile, the poor child had taken the bait. However Dan’s conscious took hold and tried to fight against what he was about to do. The girl seemed rather guilty about what she did, and also did apologise, but she broke school rules and so needed to be punished. As his gaze remained on the Ravenclaw a frown spread across Dan’s face as his mind raced trying to decide what to do.
“Miss Riley you will join me in detention tonight, my office at 7. Also I will take 10 points from Ravenclaw for your act of stupidity, however it was a very good cast so I shall award you 5 points.”
Feeling rather pleased with his decision Dan turned his back on everyone and climbed back up the steps to his chair. Running his hand through his hair he noticed that the class were still looking at him. With a slight pause Dan thought he will give them a new spell to cast.
“Ok next spell will be Muffliato. So before we start can anyone tell me what the spell does and when might you use it?...Oh yeah erm….Side B won the last round. It would have been Side A but Miss Hayes got hit. So...5 points to everyone on side B.”
(On my first post is the list of sides people are on. I tried my best to work it out from everyones posts.)

Andie, nodded in resignation, accepting her punishment with a smile. Just as she had always been taught, then listened as Professor Hubbles explained what they would do next. When he asked them to explain what the Muffliato spell did and why you might to use it she racked her brain for the answer. Ah hah! Got it! "It muffle sounds to whoever you cast it on, like it produces a buzzing noise in their ears so that they can't hear what's going on around them, and you'd probably want to use it when you need to have a private conversation in a crowded area, like say a classroom for example. Did that sum it up?"
