Post by Marishka Mayfair on Mar 8, 2007 0:27:59 GMT
'Move!' Marishka shoved the Gryffindor boy hard in the back as she came through the door behind him, annoyed that he had been gormless enough to just stand and stare - what was it with some people? Did they think they would be hexed all the way to detention if they did not freeze up and apologise profusely? Thankfully no Slytherin was one to waste time on excuses, especially for the sake of a teacher like Professor Hubbles. Charms had always been Marishka's least favourite lesson mainly due to the disgusting number of Hufflepuffs that could not help but crowd around their Head of House.
Elbowing her way past, Marishka gave the Gryffindor a snobbish once over before turning to inspect the scene. Immediately she huffed loudly. 'What d'you call this?' She snapped at no one in particular, placing her hands on her hips. 'Tickling spells? Pathetic.'
Marishka moved to the side of the room purposefully, sliding herself onto one of the many desks that had been pushed out of the way against the walls. She would kiss a muggle before she joined in with this embarrassing spectacle...

Torin arched an eyebrow as the miffed Slytherin in front of him pushed forcibly past a Gryffindor. Walking slowly behind, he gave her an exasperated glance, before sending a look to the boy she had shoved aside so unceremoniously.
"Typical Slytherin," He said tentatively, nodding in the direction of the girl. "Though, can't expect anything different from their lot, I suppose." He had long given up trying to find a Slytherin that didn't live up to the stereotype.
Although, he couldn't deny that he followed the Ravenclaw stereotype set out for himself, as well. He noticed her sit huffily on the tables shoved toward the ends of the room and smirked.
"Should go challenge her, I reckon. See how well she holds up against simple tickling spells." He raised both his eyebrows and pulled out his wand, sending the Gryffindor a small grin.

Frodo chuckled quietly. "That would be quite interesting to find out. Wonder what would happen if she got hit with two tickling spells? At the same time?" He smiled at the Ravenclaw, "Shall we find out?" he asked raising his wand with a mischievous twinkle in his eye.

Marishka caught the mischievous gleam in the Gryffindor's eyes, his wand raised, gesturing for the Ravenclaw to join him in assaulting her. Alarmed, Marishka quickly pulled out her own wand and mouthlessly casted a shield charm around herself. 'Don't', she said dangerously. 'I can do a lot worse than any tickling spell.' she warned.
Her shield throbbed slightly as one of the tickling spells from across the fire wall hit it, and she slipped off the desk and swept over toward the others, glaring in accusation, trying to seek out whoever had fired the spell...

Rakki quietly eeped and clutched her wand to her, wondering why the Slytherin looked like she was out to dismember someone. Then it dawned on her. What if it was my spell that hit her? Ohdearohdearohdearohdear! If it was her, Rakki wouldn't hesitate to apologize. But then again, she wouldn't have gotten hit if she didn't bother to come to class. Yeah! That was it!
Rakki felt her backbone slip back into place (figuratively speaking) and she felt a little bolder. Glancing back at the Slytherin, however, caused her to loose her nerve. Well, she was the older of the two and Rakki learned from experience that unless you were some mystical, magical, and powerful student, you don't go against those older than you.

His shield only having to soak up a couple of random shots Boggleworth chuckled thus far this was fine. Why he had been apprhensive he didn't know, the mere fact of being anywhere near a duel had sent shivers down his spine, he believed most people in the room hadn't undergone such torture as he had barely escaped from in the clutches of an old teacher, whom rumour had it; was alive. Boggleworth put little faith in rumours though he kept his eyes and ears open. Looking around he saw the class seemingly putting little gusto into their attacks. Ceasing the protego for a moment he flung a hasty spell towards Ian Gray whom he hadn't the pleasure of meeting face to face. Chuckling as it approached on target so far he gathered his strength once more and resumed a weak shielding spell, that being only necessary at this moment in time. Having noticed the new students enter the room only out of the corner of his eye he couldn't properly discern their faces but thought he knew none of them. With a sinking feeling recognition of a Slytherin sparked, not that pure Slytherin he thought resignedly raising an eyebrow, though unfortunately gaining eye contact with her for a split second, knowing she would vividly remember the incident in hogsmeade he grinned mischeveously at her mouthing the words "watch yourself". Grinning he viewed the 'battle' once more.

Post by Loren Hayes on Mar 9, 2007 16:19:36 GMT
Smiling as bright explosions of light occurred around her, Loren raised her wand and began to scourer the room, searching out who she would hit first. A tall, dangerous looking Slytherin girl had entered the room, roughly shoving a harmless looking Gryffindor out of the way. Loren glared at her for a moment before she set upon Ian. She grinned mischievously, and was just about to fire when Bog beat her to it. 'Oy!' she laughed, elbowing him playfully. 'He's mine!'
Not having paid attention to her surroundings, a rogue spell bounced into her stomach with a soft pop, and for a moment she was completely dumb struck. She stood still, staring about her as no sensation seemed to spread in her, and with a triumphant huffed she relaxed. 'Whoever sent that, you're rubbish.' she declared dismissively. 'Oh!' Something brushed her neck suddenly, causing her to shiver. Then again. Then something on her ribs. Then the back of her knees.
Without moments Loren was giggling loudly, holding her sides and bending double as she wriggled on the spot, unable to shake the extreme bout of ticklishness that had set upon her. 'Haha - professor - haha, heh - oh - please, make it - ah - stop!' She laughed so heartily she was now crying. 'Please - hehe, I can't - no, haha - take it!'

Ian watched spells speed past his head with a broad grin, pushing himself off the wall. One was dangerously close to hitting him, but had been fairly weak, dying out in the flames before it could reach the Gryffindor.
Twirling his wand in his fingers, Ian sent an excited gaze across the room while the students fired spells back and forth, cheeks flushed with adrenaline. He noticed Loren look at him a bit mischievously and was readying his shield charm when Bog's spell flashed toward him.
Not having been ready for it, he couldn't prepare his shield charm but instead cast a hex-deflection spell reflexively. The bright light slowed down, not exactly being a hex, before stopping all together. Then, it suddenly skyrocketed upward and hit one of the lanterns, glass shattering around him and Henry.
"Boggleworth!" Ian grinned, "Give a man a break, eh?"
Loren's giggles echoed around the room, and Ian sent her a slight, teasing, smirk.

The Professor watched with wide eyes as his students started to fight, he did notice that a few new students had entered the room. He put his hand in the air to acknowledge they were there but was to pre-occupied at the fighting below him. He gave a loud round of applause as Boggleworth cast a fantastic shield charm. “5 points Mr Boggleworth!” he shouted over the noise rising from the other students, “Nice cast Miss Mirari and you too Bailey erm.. Miss Griffith both take 5 points for your houses”
Dan was about to give Boggleworth another 5 points for his cast when he heard the sound of laughter bellow. Someone had hit. With an exited smile he looked around the see Loren pleading for him to help. Finding it hard not to laugh with her, Dan jumped down form his chair and carefully made his way towards the Ravenclaw. Taking her to one side, still laughing Dan pulled out his wand. He placed it against Loren’s chest and muttered soothing to himself. Where was a small flash, and Dan took away his wand. “Your side needs you Miss Hayes….oh and have 5 points for being a good sport.”
Dan turned his back on the girl and made his way back up the steps t his chair before getting caught up in the fighting once more.

Bailey had been watching the battle progress with interest, as a bunch of students entered the room, one of which was a boisterous slytherin. This ought to be interesting she thought to herself. But then snapped her attention back to the fighting, she didn't have much of a desire to be caught offguard by a few spells.
However once again she was distracted, but this time by dan awarding her points, noticing that he had originally called her Bailey, she stiffled a giggle, and instead smiled and playfully curtsied instead.
Bailey was brought by the action by a hex just narrowly missing her wand arm, she decidedly paid attnetion from then on and cojured up a protective shield, as she became bombarded with a few hexes.

Andie stood quietly near the front of the room. She glanced around, now was her chance. She pulled out her wand, and making sure Professor Hubbles wasn't looking, sent a tickling charm his way...

As Dan sat on his chair he continued to watch and noticed that Bailey produced a rather good shield charm. He gave a loud round of applause over the noises of the students and with a flick of his wand an extra 5 points were added to Hufflepuff’s total. However one pupil thought it would be funny not to cast the spell at there class mates but him. If Girty had been in the room she would have blamed her but she was not, it must have been someone else.
As the spell started to take effect Dan could feel a tickling sensation all over and he burst into a fit of giggles. It was actually rather painful and it did not help that he soon fell out of his chair as he was wiggling around so much. No matter how much Dan tried to fight it he could not help but laugh he tried wit all his might to ask who did it but the fights of giggles kept creeping in.
“Who hehehe did hehehe that? Hehehe when hehehe I find hehehe them...”
He could not finish his sentence. He was finding it hard o breath and his sides were hurting so much he could do nothing but lie on the floor, wriggling around hoping someone would do the counter curse.

Firing off spells to little effect throughout the room Boggleworth grinned happily, thankfully being saved from an exhausting fit of giggles by a counter curse once hit. He'd have to thank them if ever he found out who it had been.
Firing off another spell towards Ian, laughing "I'll get you eventually," he turned as a loud crunch echoed throughout the small room, from the Professor collapsing into a heap of laughter, now that was just not on, attacking from behind, how cowardly He believed with a grin he realised those closest to the Professor were quite content to let him suffer. So taking matters into his own hands and being taken over by his usual compassion he ran quickly to the Professor muttering the counter-curse quickly "y'alright sir? That was a nasty fall." He exclaimed wondering if he miay even have broken a bone from the unearthly crunch.

Almost as quickly as the tickling sensation had started it had soon past and Dan was left lying on the floor, facing the ceiling trying to catch his breath back. With one final deep breath he pushed himself up and looked over at Boggleworth who was asking if he was alright. With a small nod Dan looked in his direction and managed to mumble out a small thank you. “Thank you Boggleworth, 10 points to Hufflepuff, that was very kind of you.”
His voice was not as strong as normal. It hurt from the laughing and he actually felt rather embarrassed. Slowly standing up and brushing the dust off his robes he looked around the rather silent room and looked at all the students in the room to see if any of them had a guilty look on their faces. With a small cough in an attempt to clear his throat Dan let his voice echo around the room.
“Which ever one of you did that need to know 2 things. Fists of all you should never attack a teacher and so detention shall be given, and second that was a very good cast and deserves points awarded. So if I do not know who cast the spell I do not know who to reward.”
Dan gave a rather toothy grin as he continued to look at each student carefully, waiting for them to respond.

Andie blushed and raised her hand sheepishly. "Sorry Professor... it was me!" She raised her eyebrows in an innocent expression. Not that it would help of course... Andie was calm and almost playful on the outside, on the inside, she was panicing. You idiot! You're a Prefect! What were you thinking!? she berated herself...
