Allion smiled distantly to himself as he placed the strikingly yellow chalk back on his desk. The blackboard now depicted a large crystal ball with a flurry of fog moving stealthily inside the carefully drawn sphere. After a lengthy inner debate, he had decided crystal balls were the perfect choice for his first practical lesson.
With his smile still in tact, he pulled out his slender wand and waved it smoothly at the large circular tables adorning the room. At once, they vanished before appearing neatly stacked against one of the far walls. The room looked impossibly large, now that the clutter of desks was gone, and he grinned brilliantly.
"Should be a good lesson," he muttered lowly, adjusting his robes as the door opened of its own accord, welcoming the sure-to-be rowdy students who would soon be pouring into his classroom.[/color]

Divination. Not Olivia's favorite class. She didn't have a knack for 'looking into the future.' She was abysmally narrow minded about the subject, and she tended to get a little testy in the class.
The fifth year walked in, not realizing that she was more than a few minutes early. "Hello Professor." She said in her cheery voice, hiding her disappointment that she would have to sit through this class. "Are we doing anything exciting today?" Nothing was really exciting in Divination. Starring into a cup of leaves was half as exciting as racing slugs.
Olivia sat down in the middle of the room. Soon, she hoped, she would be surrounded by her classmates and she would get away with drifting off into space. Until then she smiled at Professor Vickers, and took out a book to read, Famous Witches of the 3rd Century.

Ashton walked shyly into the Divination classroom. Divination may have been his favorite subject, but that didn't stop him from being shy and nervous. As usual. Ashton gave a small smile to the Hufflepuff girl already seated at one of the tables, and greeted the professor even more cheerfully, especially after seeing what their lesson for the day would be. Crystal balls. His favorite aspect of divination. "Good afternoon professor. I see our lesson is crystal balls today. Should be interesting."

Alexis entered seeing that she was a bit earlier than she intended, there weren't a lot of students in the room at the moment, and well that suited her just fine. Her backpack opened she took out a book that she had been reading about a witch who fell in love with a mortal and once she had obtained the object of her affection, how she feared loosing him when if and when he found out the truth. A friend had loaned it to her and once she opened it she was hooked, classes seemed to get in the way of her finishing it though so right now seemed like a good time to get caught up on at least a few pages. Opening it to where she left her book mark she sat back in her chair, her eyes flying back and forth across the pages as she soon became enraptured once more.

Natalie entered the room quietly and looked around, seeing if there was anyone to talk to. She went over to a boy she had never met before. "Can I sit here?" she asked, taking the seat. He seemed nice enough but who knew? She tapped her fingers on the circular table as if she were playing the drums. It was fairly quiet in the room she had noticed. In fact, the loudest person in there was her. Oo, shocker there. Natalie was always a little bit louder than most.

Ashton, lost deep in thought jumped in surprise when he heard a voice near his head. He looked up to see a girl standing there drumming her fingers on the table. It took him a few minute to process what she had said. "Huh? Oh yeah! Sure! Have a seat!" he replied gesturing to the seat beside him.

"Thanks" Natalie said, laughing a little. She took the seat and gazed into the crystal ball. Looking back up at the boy, she smiled. "I'm Natalie by the way."

"Nice to meet you" Natalie said, shaking Ashton's hand. He seemed like an okay person to talk to. "What year are you?" she asked, curiously. Natalie figured the boy was either in her year or a little older.

Ashton smiled. "Fifth." he replied. "Yourself?" he asked as he played with his quill, rolling it back and forth between his hands.

"Fifth" Natalie said, smiling again. "This should be an interesting lesson" she said, gazing down at the crystal ball. It was a little foggy right now. But of course that was at first glance. She laughed and looked back up.

Ashton laughed along with Natalie. "It certainly should be!" he agreed. "Divinations is my favorite subject and crystal ball gazing is my favorite part of Divinations." He regarded Natalie curiously, "What's your favorite subject?"

"I'm a Care of Magical Creatures girl myself" Natalie admitted. She had a soft spot for animals. "But divination is a close second", it was a quite interesting subject.

Ashton smiled in return. "Really? Care of Magical Creatures is my second favorite class."

"What an interesting coincidence" Natalie said, smiling at Ashton. She took out her sketch book and started to draw. It was a picture of one of her friends she hung out with during the summer. Natalie had started the drawing the night before. She was quite good at drawing. "So, what do you like to do?"
