The Darkness is all around

She found herself in the forest again. She had came in alone despite Professor Addis's warning. Like it bothered her if she was alone or not.

She wandered in and out of the never ending trees as the forest grew darker and darker. Luckily for her she didnt mind the dark cause this would be the time she'd freak out.

The wind was picking up making her long dark hair blow wildly all around. She knew she was coming to the forest tonight so why didnt she tie her hair back. If the professors ask.. she was merely looking for a student she thought had come in this direction. Blatant Lie she knew that but never mind. If she stuck to it they couldnt prove it. Unless they tried Leglimens and thats just plain annoying.

She kept walking, some of the looser branches on the trees snagging on her robes but she just pulled them away effortlessly. She wanted to look around the forest and she had not been able to do that. She was determined to eventually do it.. No matter how long it took. She laughed to herself.

Jerred ran after the trail left by Kim. He knew she went straight and could still smell the lavender from her hair. He ran through bristles, thorns and tree branches just to follow the small scent. He grimaced when he entered a clearing and saw her, walking into the shadows.

He ran after her, tempted to call her name, but with the dangers of the forest he knew he wouldn't dare do it. He caught up to her and stood there, panting. She remained walking and she didn't turn to meet him.

"Kim!" Jerred shouted, not caring no more.

Kim was walking alone, or thought she was untill she heard someone scream at her. She stopped and looked down. Letting Jerred reach her. "Are you out of your mind?" she snapped "Screaming like that in here right now! There are so many dangers that could get us killed and you decide to scream like a mad person" she rounded on him. "If your coming with, just keep your voice down" she told him and headed back into the darker area of the forest.

Jerred stood shocked by what she said. He gritted his teeth as he followed her, not knowing where they were headed.

She stopped a bit further on. She looked around. She was looking for something. But she didnt know where to look. She kept on heading into the blackening forest.

Muttering to himself, he trudged on after Kim. Jerred was sick of the quiet, but had to know what was happening. He grabbed her hand, spun her around and pulled her into him. Then he whispered into her ear, "Why're you here?"

"Im not sure. Looking for something.. but i dont know what yet" she told him. "Now can you please let go of my arm? Your starting to hurt"

[Jerred Boneman]

(ooc: I wasn't holding that hard )

"Ok." He said, letting her go. She continued moving with Jerred moving behind her. I'd like to know what she's looking for? He thought. They continued walking until they heard a twig snap ahead of them.

Kim stopped suddenly. Creeping forward and climbing silently up a nearby tree. "What.. is... that?" She hadnt seen one of these before, it wasnt a werewolf or centaur. It was horselike, not a unicorn though.

"It... not a hippogriff." Jerred whispered, crawling a little further. He had to see a better view of it. "Thestral... It's a Thestral!" Jerreds eye went wide with fear, but then he remembered what he was told about them. They could only be seen by someone who had seen someone who died. "Who did you see die before you?" He gasped. "I saw my Auntie die not too long ago..." He turned back to the winged horse with a slightly draconic head. He was shaking with fear, but knew he had to face it.

She shook her head. "It doesnt matter" she sat there watching the threstral. This... this cant be what i came looking for

[Jerred Boneman]

"It's... funny looking doesn't it?" Jerred laughed, slightly.

[Kim Rivers]

"Yeah... in a cute sort of round about way" she laughed "Why's it here? I mean, i dont think i was looking for a... a.. thres.. whatever they're called"

[Jerred Boneman]

"They live here in forest for the darkness." Jerred said, remembering what his father had told him about them. "They can only be seen by those who saw someone die... I wonder why it hasn't noticed us yet?"

"Dont know why.. maybe we should go and see it?"
