"So Miss can we get on with it? I don't mean to be rude but we're all so enthusiastic you see, and I have a little trick up my sleeve too!" he chuckled looking directly into the professor's eyes intently with a wry grin and a mischeveous glint in his eyes.

Faye looked at Boggleworth. "These things take time, Boggelworth." she smiled. "It may be a while before we try to actually transform. There is a lot of mental preperation involved in the learning of all of this. Your uncle is an Animagus, I believe, Boggleworth? You shall know what I mean."
She moved to the front of the room and stood directly in front of the mirror with her back to it. She stared around at them for a moment before a loud crack issued from her, and she was fluttering before them as a tropical-sized butterfly...

"Indeed I do Miss! My Uncle always scolded me for being too impatient, but I practised and practised and practised! Every day in fact it was really difficult but I'm getting there slowly but surely, as they say good things come to those who wait!" he chuckled giving a thunderous applause when Vedette transformed. "Who fancies catching a butterfly?" he joked watching Vedette closely with shrewd eyes.

Gina gasped at Professor Vedette's transformation. She felt her heart leap with excitement and a trickle of a smile overcame her. Someday she might be able to do that!

There was another giant crack, and Faye was stood before them again. "Once you master the transformation, you will be pleasantly suprised how easy it is. However, for many years even the greatests of wizards have worked towards this, and many have failed. "Can anyone tell me the name for the shallow state of meditation that Animagi must firstly go through during their training?"

"wahey Miss! Questions I can answer! It's called the Void sometimes people try and sort of...grasp a really good memory or just seek an inner place with peace and tranquility. It really depends on the type of person. As you said some people study for years who are really good with magic whilst others with little magic sometimes pick it up easily!" he grinned from ear to ear waiting for another question

"Excellent, exactly right - the Void. Five points for that, and another five for understanding that it is a witch or wizard's mental state that effects their ability as an Animagus, not the level of magic in their blood." she said. "Can anyone tell me common false myths about Animagi?"

"Common false myths, erm how about, well sometimes say if they're a wolf, sometimes they are taken for being a werewolf! Often they can be attacked mistaken for being the creature they turn into! So you have to be extremely careful." he grinned again wolfishly.

Gina thought for a moment, then raised her hand slowly.
"That they are all evil?" she suggested.

"Aye tis a common mis-conception that!" agreed Boggleworth smiling warmly at the Ravenclaw girl.

Faye beamed. "Yes, you're both right, five points each!"
"Can anyone tell me the main danger of being in the Void?"

Gina looked down and smiled to herself with satisfaction. She looked up suddenly, and shot her arm into the air. "But why do people think animagus' are all evil?" she said, wrinkling her brow.

Jumping in before the teacher could Boggleworth said "Well it's because of the animals people tend to choose for example the lion from earlier, and really people are just afraid about what they don't know much about." he pasued quickly for breath then continued his smile was still getting larger, in a lecturing voice he said “and in answer to your question Miss...when you’re in the void your senses are enhanced so you’re more like the animal, but there’s a downside to that too, cause if the animal is more violent then you will also have more of a tendency towards violence too. And even when you’re in human form you are still more like the animal, it affects different people in many different ways, but there’s little research because there are so few!” He could have continued to blabber but thought it best not to.

"Amazining, yes, Boggleworth!" she gasped, thrilled that he knew so much ."Fifteen points to you for all of that. Indeed, instict and emotion is highened, causing the human's mind to be gravely effect and addled."

(ooc: Just read the entire thread. Nice work I want to be involved somehow, just for this lesson Also, I have a tiger animagus form.) Knocking on the door and walking into the room quietly, Leigh appeared. He had heard about the new professor of Animagus Tutoring and he wished to pay her a visit. He quietly hoped he did not hurt the lesson at all for appearing, but he also hoped that he may be of some assistance. "Sorry for the interuption, Professor, I just wanted to see what this class was like, for I hear your talents are far beyond what you are given credit for." Leigh said, as he bowed during his introduction. He smiled a little, feeling butterflies in his stomach. He forced himself to remain composed, until he was given a reply. "And also, you shall know what I am as well."
