Girty nodded and took a bite out of her chocolate. she needed a sugar rush to get her mind going for the next stage. As she swallowed she stood up on her chair and flapped her arms.
"Do i need to get in the mind set of the animal then Professor?"

"Oh, I don't think we'll be achieving it this session, Girty!" laughed Faye as she watched the Hufflepuff eat her chocolate. "Intense meditation is required. Now that you recognise your inner animal, you will be able to communicate with it through deep relaxation. You must get to know it first before it will reveal itself as your Animagus form." Faye smiled.

Girty stopped flapping her arms and hopped off the chair.
"Like what??? Sit and watch them or read about them?" she stuffed her now empty chocolate rapper in her pocket and had another bit of her drink.

The small clock in the corner started to gently chime eleven. "Look how late it is, Girty!" Faye gasped.

Girty looked at the clock and sighed.
"OK professor. I will leave just one last question. If I may. What conditions would i need t be in to be able to do this correctly. Silence by myself or any odd time?"

"Well the best way is what we just did, through having someone to pull you into your own mind. But..." Faye thought. "If you do your breathing before sleeping, you should be able to meet the bird in your sleep. In your dreams, to be more exact." the woman stood up. "Goodnight, Girty. And well done - you are well on your way!" she smiled.

Girty nodded and started to walk to the door putting her bag on her shoulder. She turned around had one last look around the room before making her way up the corridors towards the Hufflepuff common room.
