"I believe that the Felix Felicis potion is mixed in with the draught of living death to cancel it out. If you were to drink the draught of living death you would fall into a deep sleep and probably not wake up, depending how strong it was. The Felix Felicis potion can make you lucky enough to escape death so mixing these to potion together would make them cancel eachother out in any chance that a student were to drink it it would have no affect." L.C said almost positively.

Alec had been lingering in the back of the classroom, running his hands through his dark, black hair as he tried to take down notes. Potions never interested him, though, so he he crossed his arms and leaned back on his seat, slightly uncomfortable in his all-too tight pants.
They were really, very, nice pants, though.
It was when a couple of the students began to speak up that Alec found his interest peaked. In fact, one in his own house caught his eye and he raised an eyebrow, walking forward as if about to take part in the lesson.
As soon as he reached her, he let himself indulge in a smile, glad he had spent enough time on his eyeliner to reach perfection.
"I'm sure it has to do with opposites," he said smoothly, looking at Andrea with his clear blue eyes. "Ingredients are added to carry out a certain action, the two potions must contradict each other is all."
He smiled again, before turning back to the professor. [/color][/font]

"Exactly, of course only if you had the right amount." L.C added sending a thanking look to the ravenclaw who had understood what she meant. "More Felix Felicis would cancel out the Draught of living death and make you somewhat lucky, while to much of the Draught would almost cancel the Felix Felicis out completely although the Felix Felicis would helpyou wake up from the deep sleep" she finished smiling.

Andie listened as L.C. and the other Ravenclaw explained. "Now I get it. Sorry, I had a late night so... I'm a little slow today." she admitted with a shrug. She turned to the Ravenclaw boy. " I'm Andie. Andie Riley." she introduced herself as she held out her hand.

Andie smiled, a light blush adding color to her normally pale cheeks. "I know a bit about potions but I'm not an expert. Basically I know just enough to pass the class!"

Grace looked around at the other talking. She felt so happy, so safe, so free! She could smell freshly baked blueberry muffins and rain and a woody smell which reminded her of her bloom. She smiled at the other students. "It's so nice not to hear screaming amongst students."

"Sixth," Grace smiled, "and yourself?" She was becoming curious as she spent more time with different students. It was fun to meet new people and learn about them. She smiled at Andie and thought for a moment that she remembered the face but then pushed that thought aside in the realisation that she only knew LC.
