Jac stopped screaming, it was too painful otherwise. She lay on her back, head lulling on her shoulder, and blood starting to fill her mouth and began to trickle out. She was conscious but could not feel her legs. "Lo-Loren," she spluttered, "y-you must hel-help that person." Jac grabbed Loren's collar and pulled her into a sitting position. "It is a person, Lol and must not-" Jac began to cough and splutter into her hand, it was instantly covered in blood "-do not harm it! Bind it with Incarcerous till morning, it's the best you could do."
Jac was loosing a lot of blood and couldn't hold anymore. She let go of Loren and flopped back onto the floor. She looked up at Loren, smiling as she always did. She had another coughing fit before adding, "don't blame yourself, Loren, you were protecting us and I was protecting everyone from everyone else. The one problem of being a misunderstood person you understand others better, especially misunderstood ones." Jac coughed a few times, then continued knowingly, "a stomach wound take twenty minutes to kill a person."
Jac fell silent for a moment before wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "Try Reparo," she whispered shackily, "it's supposed to repair damage to objects. Now's as good a time as any to see if it works on people too." She smiled peacefully at Loren. If she was indeed going to die, she was happy, she had touched lives and been around for friends. Hopefully she would be remembered. "Pity I won't be able to go Allona's wedding," she mused, laughing and coughing at the same time.

((As per request from Loren, I'll post the saving... uh... POST!! )) Jerred had heard the skafuffle several hundred feet away, the savage howls and shrieks of a werewolf and the screams of a few students. Without hesitation, and cursing the stupidity of the students he would soon encounter, Jerred ran off, leaping through the trees with ease, landing lightly on branches that sprang him to the next. Sweat appeared quickly on his forehead as he forced himself to move, the sounds growing ever louder. He saw flashes, heard screams, his ears picking up unnnatural sounds. He leapt from the last tree and landed lightly on his feet and stood, facing a werewolf, one that he recognised. 'Hey, Girty!' Jerred said warmly, before pulling his wand out and pointing the tip at the maniacal creatures eyes. ' Incarcerous!' Jerred's spell shot from his wand, striking the werewolf in the eyes, as hoped the spell would temporily bind the werewolf. Without a seconds hesitation, Jerred heard two girls talking. Spinning on his feet he said, 'Lumos,' his spell lighting the area. Upon the light in the small area, Jerred saw the blood, leading to a Gryffindor girl, Jac. He flinched at the sight of her wound and stepped forward, kneeled down and put his wand near the wound. 'This may only prolong your suffering, I apologise if it doesn't work.' Jerred said, focusing his thoughts on the strange spell his father had taught him during the previous summer. A strange yellow light emanated from his wand, weaving and waving through the air and striking the wound, the blood immediately ceasing its relentless flow, the skin clearing quickly. Jerred turned his head, his concentration stopped by the sound of the werewolf breaking free of its binds. He groaned, looked at a Ravenclaw girl. 'Focus on the innards of a human and then think about healing the girl. Keep it going until the wound is healed, this spell should work, if not it should prolong her life long enough to get a Professor to do something!!' Jerred said frantically, quickly standing and aiming his wand at the werewolf. ' Incarcerous!' Jerred cried out several times, each spell creating binds around the werewolf, the creature struggling and growling savagely. Jerred turned his head and saw the two girls. 'Is the spell working!? Is the pain gone!?'

Jac was lying quite still by now, though slight convulsions clenched her body every so often. She looked up at Loren through tear-filled eyes. "I'm sorry!" she said, a tear running over her temple. She was suddenly overwhelmed by a sense of extreme sadness and regret. She had not accomplished all she could have, there was no way she could have.
She wiped her tears away with an unsteady hand and though she had, her vision blurred. She began to panic but then she heard a familiar voice. "Loren?" she whispered, "you still there?" She reached out for a hand but instead she got healing spell straight to her gut. The pain was excruciating as her spilt stomach was forced to join and reconnect. She cried, tears streaming freely.
Jerred said something but the pain was still to overbearing. She cried, "please stop!" She writhed and cringed, lying in her own blood. Her hair had gone a ghostly white and her eyes were very dark. She had lost control of her abilities and couldn't have cared less at this point. Her stomach had stopped bleeding, fair enough, but the pain lingered as stinging and terrible as ever. "It still feels like it's bleeding," she mumbled, through her clenches. She was now trying to relax.

Andie stared in horror at all the chaos around her. "Jac!" she cried. "Stupid werewolf! Get off me!" she screamed angrily. With a last burst of strength, she succeeded in getting the werewolf off her (of course that was probaly because of the fact that the werewolf was distracted at the moment. any other time and he probably would've killed her by know) just enough to scramble to her feet and race over to Jac. "Jac! Are you okay? Oh my god... what happend!?"

Loren nodded sternly as the Slytherin boy demonstrated how to do the healing spell - one of which she had never even heard of before. In the dim light Loren could see Jac's torn flesh threading itself back together, melting back together seamlessly as it wove and spun. Did it hurt Jac, this movement of her flesh? The Gryffindor girl gasped and began to speak suddenly, and Loren grasped her hand, tears welling up in her eyes. 'I'm here, Jac! I'm not going away - I'm going to heal you!' She sobbed, immediately focusing, as the boy had said, upon Jac's internal state.
The the light of the spell throbbed gently, confirming that she had executed it right. She sighed in relief, watching as it continued to work, the blood flow slowing ceasing.
Andie now appeared at her side, cuts and grapes all over her torso and face from the werewolf claws, but none half as bad as what had been inflicted upon Jac. 'Please, Andie, help me...' Loren pleaded between mutterings of incantations.

Andie knelt beside Loren. "What do you want me to do?" she asked, while at the same time trying to keep a lookout for any other dangers that might be headed their way.

'The incantation Jerred showed me, I take it you heard? Good,' Loren shifted out of the way, pulling Andie to kneel where she had just been. 'You're a dab hand at these things, Andie - I can't heal her like you can. You're the only one who can help her.' Loren stood up, her eyes cold and commanding. Guilt throbbed in her stomach like needles scraping at her insides, the sight of Jac bleeding over the cold ground half-conscious almost more than she could stand.
And it was all Loren's fault. How could she have been so foolish as she fire such a spell in the dark?
Throwing her fringe from her face, Loren marched to join the wayward Slytherin boy's side. 'Thank you,' She said without looking at him, squaring up her shoulders as she pointed her wand sternly at the werewolf, who was by now clearly in agony. Pity and sorrow stabbed at Loren, tears welling up in her eyes again. Jac was right - there was a person in there, a person who Loren supposed would give anything not to have to hurt anyone.
With a complicated flick of her wand, a hot vapour poured from the tip like steam from a cauldron, weaving its way around the werewolf's snout and eyes, intoxicating it gently.
The beast gave a defeated groan, and a moment later it hit the ground, sound asleep.

'Why do girls always get into trouble?' Jerred muttered to himself as he turned and began to walk away. He stopped, looked over his shoulder, despite the darkness and said, 'You're welcome.'
He left the area and returned to what he was doing before, leaping through the trees trying to find any people in a position of power.

Loren lowered her wand, sighing in relief, and turned around to watch the Slytherin boy retreat back into the forest. She found it bizarre that any Slytherin would pass up the chance to lap up any attention they could possibly receive from a victory, but Loren supposed he had been doing something a lot more important - and sneaky - than fending off werewolves. She would have admired him if it were not for her intense dislike of loners.
Walking back to Andie and Jac, she knelt down, slipping her arm under Jac's shoulders to prop her up. 'You'll be fine, Jac...' She said soothingly. 'Help me get her up, Andie.'

Jac smiled weakly at Andie as she too joined her by her side. She mooved her hand a bit to reach for her hand but that took a lot of energy which Jac didn't have. She was sinking into darkness by a blinding pain. She shut her eyes and screwed her face.
She slipped into dreams of fright and terror where she was running through dark corridors of darkness. She was being chased by an unknown evil but it encroached on her every fiber and drained every ounce of happiness and hope she had. She was weak and couldn't run anymore she did, she had to kept running, she would not give up. Never.
Meanwhile, back in the real, Jac's eyes were closed, her body was limp and her head lulled on Loren's shoulder. She had lost conscious and was feverish mumbling but saying nothing comprehensible.

Andie, stood on the other side, and her and Loren, carefully helped Jac to her feet. "Think you can walk? Or do you need help?" she asked once the Gryffindor was on her feet. She looked to Loren, as if to ask her opinion.
