Russell was surprised at Andie. "So ..." he began, unbelieving of what he was about to say, "let's go look for that adventure!" He waved his arms is some direction and bowed. Looking around at the girls he thought he needed different friends. With that he began to walk, his broom in his hand and worry in his head.

There was no need for them to look for adventure as adventure was coming there way!
The wolfs eyes scanned over the humans all huddled together. A feast simply waiting for the werewolf to pounce. As it moved closer towards them the wolfs back legs started to tense up, absorbing all the pressure ready to spring into action. Drool started to pour out the corner of the wolfs mouth as it watched waiting for the right moment. It could not wait any longer it had to pounce.
Not wasting anytime the wolf let out a howl and sprung towards the group of students. As it approached the back of them it raised onto its hind legs towering above many of the humans. With let another howl it spread out its arms pulling it back ready to attack before snapping its jaws at some of the students.

Jac was watching the interaction between the two ravenclaws. They were very amusing. She was just about to jump on Rus and tell him to get a grip then give Andie a slap and tell her to get over herself. The thought was fantastic!
Her dream was interrupted by a gigantic, slobbering werewolf jumped into the middle of their semi circle. "Oh ..." she said, instinctively pulling out her wand and stepping back a few steps, took an aggressive stance. She began to run every spell she knew through her mind so that at the slightest notice she would be prepared.

Andie stared up at the wolf that had just jumped into their little circle. "Oooh... s**ttake mushrooms..." she whispered, backing away nervously.

Loren let out a surprised yell as something huge and hairy thundered from the dark trees, its snapping teeth and thrashing claws startling her beyond belief. For a moment she had been stunned, unable to do anything but stand before the massive beast and stare at it, fixated. Before she had slipped down through the canopy of the forest, she and Russell had seen the full moon, pale and bold, but she herself had taken no notice of it. After all, she originally had had no intention of causing so much commotion.
The werewolf darted forward threateningly, and without time to command the others to doge out of the way, Loren ran toward the left, making sure not to turn her back on the creature. She raised her wand to fire a defensive spell, but realised it was she who was casting the lumos charm. 'Russell, you're a Ravenclaw, don't just stand there!' she said demandingly, unable to risk extinguishing the lumos charm.

The wolf looked around the group and waited for some to make the first move. On of the humans moved backwards drawing there wand. The wolf knew this was dangerous. Another swore rather loudly sattracting the wolfs full attension. With a quick pounce the werewolf had the girl on the ground, its paw pushing aginst her throat. The wolf lowered its head closer to the human and sniffed around. This was tender meat and with the added value of being fresh made the wolfs mouth water even more. Drool started to pour out falling onto Andie.
The werewolf was about to take a huge bite out of the humans shoulder but something started tugging in its brain, compelling it to stop. The werewolf stopped its mouth hanging open above its victim. Slowly it raised its head looked around at the other humans. With a small whimper the wolf raised its paw and hit the human girl in the head hopping to silence her as it looked around at the other possible victims.

'Andie!' Loren cried, horrified, as the werewolf lunged, pinning down the slim girl with no effort at all. Although full of fear of the consequence, Loren moved forward, yelling threateningly at the beast, desperate to scare it away. Although she could not use her wand, she jabbed the throbbing light toward it's eyes aggressively, trying to ward it off.
However, it did not move. Something else seemed to be distracting it, its harsh animal moans roaring over Loren's barks. 'What's wrong with it?' She gasped, afraid.

Andie groaned in disgust as the wolf drooled on her. "Oh that is just gross!" Suddenly the wolf hit her in the head. "Ow! Hey! What was that for!?" she cried angrily glaring up at the wolf. She tried to throw the wolf off her but unfortunately, although Andie was exceptionally strong, the wolf was about ten times stronger, and not about to be thrown off of a sixteen year old girl.

Jac was standing in the shadows now, contumplating. Although she was enjoying the spectical but deep down Jac knew that it would be unfair to Andie to let it just wrip her flesh off. Jac had to do something. She moved in front of Loren and Rus, and whispered, wand at the ready, "Loren relax! Think! Do you know anyting that can help? We need to disable the poor thing, then bind it so it won't get out til morning."

As the wolf looked back down at its current victim it could feel her trying to push her off. With an angry growl that this girl would think she could move it the wolf added more pressure to the paw on the girls neck. As the wolf looked away he could still feel the girl squirming around under her.
When another student started to shine a light in the wolfs eyes the creatures blood began to boil and angry filled its body. Suddenly its claws shot out from the paws as the creature pounced of the girl. As it did the hind legs pushed down into the girl as the claws suck deep into her skin.
As the other students gathered together in huddle the wolf flew through the air, knocking the light out of one of the other girls hand before skidding to a halt, breathing heavily and looking around once again at the humans, calculating which one the strike next.

Loren took a deep breathe, a little vexed at Jac's rational disposition, but knowing she had to think clearly in any case. She was about suggest a Sense Deception spell - or, if necessary - a transfiguration charm, but something hairy and covered in mud suddenly bashed into her shoulder, sending her skidding along the wet ground. Consequently her wand was thrown from her grasp, the lumos spell ceasing to work.
Everything fell into darkness.

Jac stared at Loren lying on the floor. She pointed her wand at the wolf threateningly, her hand steady and she said, "Furnunculus." There was a bright flash of red light emanated from the end of Jac's wand and instantly big blistering boils broke out all over the werewolf. Some ruptured and began to ooze and others just went red and festered.

Although pitch black, Jac had managed to aim perfectly at the werewolf, a bright ruby red flash momentarily illuminating the forest, Loren briefly able to see boils burst over the beast's skin - and to also seen her long wand lying a few feet away. The light was gone as quickly as it had come however, and Loren crawled swiftly along, patting the ground with her hands, trying to grasp her wand. With every twig and branch she found she picked it up, aiming it loosely at the creature and whispering 'Diffindo!' to no effect.
'Got it!' She shouted gleefully as she finally settle upon her wand, its magic prickling in her hand knowingly. 'Diffindo!' she cried. There was a cry of pain, and Loren knew she had hit it with the severing curse at last, hopefully catching its paw.

Jac was proud to have performed the spell successfully. She was glad it had been momentarily forced to cease, however not desist. She was quickly thinking of a binding spell. She knew that deep down there was a person in there and it was not to be harmed. It would soon be morning and she would not be responsible for a teacher's, most likely, death.
Next thing Jac heard something crawling behind her. She spun around, pointing her wand, and said, "Lumos." A bring beam of light illuminated Loren crawling about on the ground. Jac turned off her light. She watched Loren and noticed she had her wand again. She was pointing it at the werewolf. She muttered a curse to cut things open.
"NO!" Jac cried and as Loren got the spell right. Without thinking Jac jumped in the way of the spell. It hit her in the gut and ripped her center into two. She flew back from the impact and for a second she didn't feel anything. Then the pain hit her like a hammer right in the chest. She screamed with pain and hit a tree, falling to the ground, writhing and bleeding everywhere. Stupid Jac! she thought, you should have said something!

'Jac?' A sicking dread filled Loren as she heard the other girl begin to moan in pain. She had not hit the werewolf after all.
'Lumos!' She muttered, jumping to her feet and dashing toward Jac. 'Merlin - what were you thinking?' She demanded angrily. She realised she could not close up Jac's wounds without putting out the light again. Pressing her hand over Jac's stomach, she barely covered the pouring wound, but quickly gestured for Russell. 'Help Andie!' She pleaded. Turning back to Jac, she looked into the girl's face wearily. 'I'm so sorry, Jac...'
