Steve had been trying to sleep in the reeds at the side of the lake to little success. At first he was too cold she he wrapped himself up in some long grass only to find that some woodlice started to get in too his feathers. With a defeated quack he tried to walk across the ice, after a few steps his little orange feet lost all grip and he fell onto his belly sliding across the lake. As the far shoreline started to come ever closer Steve let out a very loud quack in preparation for the oncoming change of surface.
Lucky the stony shore line stopped him(although ruffling up his feathers in the process). After making the quick decision of not going back on the ice, he settled where he was and started to sleep once again.
However the noise of children skating woke him up. They were laughing, having fun and worst of all cutting up his lake. With an evil glare at the two student he stood up and started to stretch his wings in preparation to take off. As soon as Steve took off however the two students were leaving the lake. Determined to make a difference in the school Steve the duck flew after them hoping to teach them a lesson for skating on his lake.
