Okay, I can make a run for it or I can face my death like the manly woman I am, Rakki thought as the professor moved over towards Amanda. She looked over at the door, then at her professor. Door, professor, door, professor. Deciding it would be better if she stayed (after all, he DID know her name), Rakki said something that sounded like "I accept your offer" as she pushed her stuff out of the way.

"Ok. Was it that hard? Now do you have all the required ingredients?" Caleb said looking at the board at all the ingredients need for the potion. He waited for Rakki to answer.

No, it wasn't really that hard but you did scare the living daylights out of me. "Yes, I have all the ingredients... I think." Rakki did a mental check and looked through all the ingredients in front of her. "Wait.. missing the... heart."

"Ah yes the crocodile heart. A key ingredient." and Caleb shuffled over to his cabinet. He shifted through the jars of ingredients until he found a crocodile heart. He took it over to Rakki and set it beside the cauldron. He pulled up a stool and sat beside her. "Now you need to cut the heart into little pieces along with all the other ingredients. Like this." and disgusting as it was he cut the crocodile heart in half, then into fourths, and so on until it was right. "I did the most disgusting one so now you wont have to much trouble." and he smiled at how repulsing crocodile hearts were.

Rakki only stared. "Man, I hope Sobek doesn't have Ammut eat my heart." She reached out to pick a piece up but shivered and pulled away. "I'll... um," Rakki looked down at the other ingredients. "Start with the powdered moonstone and possible make my way up." Asuming I don't run away or spaz out with the bugs.

Caleb laughed. She was the typical stereotypical girl. "Well do you need my help for anything else?" and Caleb stood up, waiting for her answer.

"Bug." Rakki pointed to the caterpillars. "I don't fancy touching kittypillars." She raised an eyebrow at the lionfish spine. "And do we just toss that in or cut it up?"

Caleb sat back down. She really is a girly girl! he thought. He let out a smile and told her, " I will cut your caterpillars JUST THIS TIME and as for the spine it needs broke into two pieces." and he pulled the caterpillars closer to him. "So finally decided to join potions eh?"

"Just this time? But what about the next time? I'll be completely hopeless next time." Rakki reached over and picked up the spine. "And as for this class, well, when a professor knows you name and face, it's a good idea to get to class." Breaking the spine into two almost equal halves, Rakki fiddled with them and positioned them in her hand like one would chopsticks. "Also, in the future, will we be dealing with spiders?" She asked, looking over at him.

"Next time you will need to do it yourself, for I cant always do this for you. Some potions call for spider venom and I think there is one potion that will involve spiders so yeah we will be dealing with spiders. Is that a problem?" said Caleb gaining interest at the girl by the minute.

Rakki paled. "Uh... if I don't make that class, don't mind me. I'm not exactly too fond of spiders. Scorpions, I'm good with," One of the voices in Rakki's head laughed at the memory of the time she was stung by one. "But spiders, I don't do spiders. I'll run from one even if it's half an inch long. They scare me." Rakki poked at a piece of heart. "Evil, vile creatures. That's what they are."

"They aren't that bad, and as for telling your teacher that your going to skip his class, well your asking for discipline, but luckily I'm not like that. However you wont know when the spiders are going to be used. As for the scorpions I think we use them twice. Now if you want your potion to be good add the crocodile heart pieces." and Caleb crossed his arms with a smile of satisfaction.

"But they're spiders! I can't deal with them!" Rakki gave him her puppy eyes (she knew it prolly wouldn't work but she could try anyways). "They scare me. You're not that mean to make a poor, innocent little girl die of fright 'cause of some evil creature, are you?" She whined.
(edit: D:< I swear! ;_; This size thing is confuzing me! It's not Gaia yet my fingers think it is)

Caleb laughed. "Spiders aren't evil, and give me those eyes all you want. I really don't think you will die of fright from a little spider and you not that innocent." and Caleb pulled out his wand and muttered something under his breath, and a small wood spider appeared in his hand. "Its time to cure you Rakki." and he had a hard time fighting back a laugh.
