The halls were exactly how he remembered them, down to the last detail. Even the suits of armour seemed to be the same. Keifer smiled as he remembered his last year here and all the tantrums he'd thrown over having no hairspray. He couldnt help but laugh over this, the memory was definatly something he could laugh over.
Taking another turn, his pace slowed, he realised he was back a smile spreading over his face. He didnt know if Jessie would be back, he'd probably be to busy with his work. Which made it better for Keifer. Hairspray was just around the corner!

Thom had been in a cloister just around the corner, perched up on one of the stone archways over looking one of the many court yards of Hogwarts - the summer plants coming to the end of their life, undisturbed all holiday. It was then that he saw his friend Keifer.
'Keifer!' Thom called, slipping from his seat and walking up to the Ravenclaw. 'Haven't seen you all summer - hows it been?' he smiled.

Keifer stood infront of one of the windows, looking outside over the lake and the forest, he had spent so much time there last year it was a wonder he had gotten any work done... Of course he hadnt. At that point he heard someone shout his name. Keifer turned around and smiled when he saw Thom. "Hi Thom!" he said happily "Summer was quite cool, got to see everyone back home again, still couldnt help missing this place and all the things that go on here. Hows your summer been?" He laughed "So like, were apprentices right? So does that mean we've still left and we just stay here? Or is there such a thing as an eight year?" he asked.

Thom joined Keifer at the window, staring out. 'I enchanted a tandum bike to fly.' he smiled, and then pointed to the forest. It's hidden in there.'
He turned to the Ravenclaw. 'I think it makes us a bit better than students,' he winked. 'I mean, we're really advanced now, aren't we? I wouldn't be suprised if we could get jobs as teachers after this - I mean, that's what its for, isn't it? Training for a job.' he paused for a moment. Then puffed out his chest a little so that his prefects badge caught the sun.

Keifer looked out to the forest and smiled. "Same old Thom then." He commented "Always doing something" He laughed and looked at Thom. Keifer nodded in agreement "We were better than students anyway... Apart from the student bit... Okay maybe not" He laughed after just having confused himself "Advanced... Thats a way of putting it. Though i guess its to train for a job, so who you doing an apprentiship for?" He asked, then as Thom puffed out his chest showing his prefect badge clearly he laughed "Who in their right minds would make you a prefect? Oh well, no more enchanting things or drinking firewhisky by the lake for you"

Thom laughed, smiling. 'I reckon you and I were perfect students. Perfect stereotypical students at least! What did they expect from us - grades? We were model, mate.' He hoisted himself up onto the ledge of the window, hanging out over the courtyard. 'We'll just get better at what we're doing, I suppose. It'd be ace to be a Potions professor here...'
He jumped down. 'I should have been Head Boy, I tell you. But it still wouldn't have stopped my drinking!' he flashed the flask from his pocket, winking.

"Perfect student? Us?" Keifer laughed, he knew they were far from perfect but still, it was more fun to be a bit adventourus. "...Yeah... We were the perfect students" He laughed and leant against the wall, looking towards Thom he grinned "You're lucky they made you a prefect let alone headboy, god, imagine you as headboy! You'd be running havoc on everyone!" He smiled as Thom pulled out the flask "...Point proven" He grinned.

Thom began to walk. 'I'm suprised you're not a prefect... who did they make the male Ravenclaw prefect? I know they made the mistake of picking that bloody Karew girl - but who's the guy?'

Keifer shrugged, in all honesty, he didnt really mind not being a prefect, but now he thought about it. Who had been made ravenclaws male prefect. "Im not surprised ive not been made one to be honest, im not prefect material, and i dont know who has been made ravenclaw male prefect. Erika's not that bad when you get to know her, you two just hit it off on the wrong foot"

Thom nodded slowly, listening. 'I don't see why... you're perfect, really. You're no worse than me!' he paused, thinking about Erika, heat swelling in his chest. He pushed her out of his mind. 'So why did you take Divination as you're apprenticeship?' he asked, remembering Keifer had asked it not long ago. 'I took potions.'

"Yeah im about as perfect as... something that isnt perfect" He laughed when Thom said he's no worse that he is. "Yeah... I nearly get munched on constantly, what use would a prefect be if he got munched on?" He asked with slight amusement coming through in his voice, "And anyway, being a non prefect means i can have more fun" Keifer knew Thom and Erika didnt get along, and it didnt help the fact half the time he was either with Thom or Erika, he couldnt be in a room with both of them. He remembered the Rainbow Coiltation from last term and the argument that the two of them had. "I think divination is interesting, theres different sides to it which i dont know about, all in all its a subject that had me hooked" He looked at Thom "Why'd you take potions?"

Thom smiled. 'There are advantages to being a prefect, you know. I can wander the corridors all night doing whatever I wish, and if I'm discovered I can just say I'm patrolling.' he went giddy at the thought, knowing it would in very handy for the secret he had just smuggled into Hogwarts. He looked at Keifer, wondering if it was a good idea to tell him.
'Divinations a blast, I admit.' Thom's foot scuffed the floor. 'But potions... I suppose it just seems like an art to me. There's so much a potion can achieve that a spell can't.' he then remembered. 'How is your little business going? It'll be dead useful - I'm always running out of shampoo. My hair gets dead greasy dead fast...' he said, flattening it with his palm.

Keifer laughed, loving the fact so many people were confusing him with Jessie. "I dont have a business Thom" he said "Taste of Ink is run by Jessie Miller"
He listened as Thom spoke then said "Yeah i guess so, you'll be able to brew up your own concoctions after a while... That could be both interesting and useful" He looked out of the window and watched the lake "Yeah i can just see it now, your out on a stroll, completley defying everyone. 'What are you doing out of bed Thom' 'Im patrolling' 'Alright then' Then comes your snicker" he laughed.

'Ah, of course, yes...' Thom slaped his forehead, grinning. 'Jessie! I haven't spoken to him much, but I know him. You two are so alike I expect I wouldn't even know if you were Jessie just pretending to be Keifer right now!' he mused, looking at Keifer just to make sure that wasn't the case.
'I know, I can just have a little party in the Room of Requirement, and won't have to worry about being caught. They'll catch me dancing naked on a table in the library, and I'll still say "patrolling!" haha!' Thom placed his hands in his pockets. 'I promise I won't take any points - like - ever. I'd be happy if I caught you out at night.' Thom smiled.

"Me and Jessie arent alike really, apart from the fact were both emo's but believe me when i say thats about all we have in common these days" He laughed "So you dont need to worry about me being Jessie, and anyway, Jez is a lot deeper than i am"
"A party in the room of requirement sounds like an ace plan!" Keifer said agreeing he should do it "Though im not to sure you'd get away with dancing naked on a library table" He said laughing. "Why not? If Ravenclaw of hufflepuff dip into the 'losing area' you should" He said with a grin on his face "You will most likely find me out of bed... I do go wandering quite frequently"
