Thom was suddenly reminded of Ravenclaw's victory, and still felt the bitter twang. He quickly supressed it. 'Undoubtably Slytherin would be out to ruin our plans... but a party is a good idea. I was only joking before but it seems top notch now.' he stroked his chin in thought.
'The night time is the best time for most things, as I'm sure most of the teachers know. The way they bond around here is quite disturbing,' he smirked, thinking of how he would most likely Avada Kedavra himself before he was thirty. 'The only thing I won't do is go into the forest at night again.' he shudded at the memory.

Keifer smiled, he knew not all Slytherins were bad, but when it came to competition, he knew they werent afraid to play dirty. He had to nod his head in agreement with Thom, espesially about the party.
Keifer didnt quite get was Thom was getting at about the teachers bonding and it being disturbing. He asked what he meant by that. "What do you mean?" He thought about the forest, "Its not normally so bad.. The only time i ran into trouble was when we got ourselves attacked by wands..."

Thom raised his eyebrows, wondering if Keifer was joking. 'They're like a bunch of rabbits, mate - ain't you heard to rumours? Snape and Apronia, Addis and Vedette - and I can definitely see something is going to bloom between Walton and that new Astronomy woman!' he laughed.
'I'm sure one day we'll look back on all that wand and lethifold business and laugh... but not just yet.' he said grimly. 'I'm relieved I haven't seen Novella around yet...'

"Guess i missed that one" he laughed. He thought about the teachers being rabbits and cringed. "I dont wanna know" he agreed with Thom about the lethifold business. It was something he didnt want to laugh about just yet. Not al all.

Thom stared out the window for a very long time in silence. The sun had gone behind a particularly large grey cloud. 'Autumn soon. Should be nice, eh? Summer s far too hot...' he looked at his watch. 'And the early darkness will be useful for my deviant schedule.' he winked.

Keifer looked at him and smiled, he knew Thom was always up to something. He had gotten used to that now. "What devient plans are you planning this time?" he asked and smiled broadly.

Thom had been thinking about constantly as they had been talking, his two sides battling it out to determine if Keifer was to know. He decided he could not resist.
Looking about over his shoulders, Thom moved closer to Keifer. 'I've bought a dog to school.' he said in a low voice. 'And an enchanted tandum bike that flies.'

Keifer smiled as Thom told him about it. The dog seemed interesting, though not as interesting as the bike. He smiled and said "Where are you keeping them?"

'The bike chained a tree just inside the forest - I've only recently made it, so its having some teething problems... mostly that it won't stay on the ground unless I weight it down.' he said frustratedly.
'The dog - and I feel cruel for this - is currently living in the Room of Requirement because I can't find anywhere to keep him! I found him in London when I went there on my bike.' he looked unhappy. 'He was on the streets. I couldn't just leave him... but he's really big and really loud. He never stops moving and barking!'

Keifer laughed, he had never heard of a bike hving teething problems, let alone one that wouldnt stay on the ground. "Sounds like you have your hands full"
He smiled as Thom told him about the dog, "So you do have a softer side" he jibed "Though the dog itself sounds like a bit of a nuicense" (sp... I cant spell at all)

Thom broadened his shoulders. 'I'm not soft,' he said touchily. 'Bet he could bite someone if I told him to! He's called Alex and he's a collie... do you want to see him?' Thom asked, looking about once more. 'He likes strangers... he almost ate my fish though. I swear that thing is magical, too.'

"Course your not Thom" he said sarcastically. He nodded when asked if he wanted to meet the dog and didnt doubt for a minute it would bite. "Be warned, if it bites me... I will bite it back. Magical? Might be an animagus"

Thom laughed. I'm talking about the fish. I feel sorry for anyone one who is unlucky enough to have a gold fish as their Animagi form...' Thom began to walk again, beckoning Keifer along. 'If you remember, that fish used to be a lethifold. You don't think it's still got all its intelligence, do you? Wouldn't it be horrible if it managed to transform back somehow?' he said, wrinkling his nose in disapproval.

Keifer shuddered at that thought, if he never saw another lethifold again it would be all to soon. As far as he was concerned, they should be kept far away from him. Nasty little.. or big.. or whatever they are. "That would be.. ugh.. No.. Lets not even talk about that"

'Yeah... I'll flush it if I ever get too suspicious.' he laughed, but it was humourless.
Thom mounted a staircase, going two steps at a time, yanking himself along with the banister. 'Hurry, mate,' the bell will ring soon and we'll get swamped. Don't want us to be seen.' Thom felt in his pocket for the large packet of cooked meat he had taken from the kitchen before meeting Keifer. 'You know how to get into the Room of Requirement, right?' he asked.
