Zachary frowned, leaning back on his seat and studying the textbook idly. "I know exactly how you're feeling when I look into them," he shivered and turned back to her. "Unless of course, you have control over it?"
Raising an eyebrow, he turned back to the map and suddenly looked hesitant. "I- I hate him, of course. Always getting me into trouble... I've saved his life numerous times, I'll have you know!" His chest puffed out slightly, and his voice took on a more arrogant tone as he continued. "From centaurs, too! Vicious creatures, they are."
Feeling pleased with himself, he folded the ingredients and placed them securely in his robes next to his wand. "Though, I'll have to admit. Moen has got more brains than the average Hufflepuff- which isn't much, but it's still more. He also doesn't ever believe a thing I say, which is quite offending, actually." With a scowl, he continued. "As long as I don't have to get my hands too dirty, and whatever ideas in your head are brilliant enough to pull off your scheme, then I'm willing to listen."

'My eyes are mood rings. Brilliant.' she thought, beginning to get quite embarrassed and irritated about Zach constantly commenting about her irksome eyes, which were now becoming a dark shade of maroon. 'No I can't control them.' It was shorrt and truthful. Now onto the more amusing subjects.
'Rescued him from centaurs? Saved his life on many occassions? Zach... please tell me you haven't started thinking of him like those stupid kidnapping victims that grow crushes on their captors... or in this case... I mean... You wouldn't honestly have feelings of obligations towards that stupid hufflepuff would you? It's not like you admire or respect a hufflepuff?' she wasn't usually one to be biased against people simply because of their house, and she didn't really know the Moen kid that well, but something about him rubbed her the wrong way. Besides the fact that she needed Zach to be sincerly angered at him for this to work.
She nodded thoughtfully, 'Number one, you really must learn that all my ideas are brilliant ones. Number two, the only person whose hands will get dirty are Moen's... least if he puppets along the way he ought to... And three, the fact that he doesn't believe anything you say will help us immensely,' and indeed it would. This was, in her opinion, one of her best plans yet. With Moen being the short tempered, would-be know-it-all that he seemed to be, and Zach being the narcissistic flame that would set him off, this would all fall into place perfectly.

Zachary made a face as he listened to Mozess, shaking his head as soon as she reached the part of obligation.
"Definitely not!" He said with a scowl, crossing his arms over his chest. "The only person I admire is myself," he smirked slightly, "and I'd never feel anything akin to respect for one of those irritating badgers."
If Thom would really be an aid like Mozess claimed, then he was willing to string the Hufflepuff along. The only thing that made him skeptical was that Mozess may, in turn, manipulate Zachary himself, and he made a face.
"Alright. We'll sneak under Thom's nose, I'm sure he'll be easy to lull along-- if you're sure you can use his distrust to our benefit." He was getting antsy, wanting to know what the plan was and how it was going to unfold.
"But, we can't let him know of the map. He's as greedy as a Slytherin, and at times, can be just as sly." He made a face of disgust, never thinking he'd ever call a Hufflepuff sly of all things.

'Then it's all really rather simple from there...' she said with a near giddy chortle 'First you need to get him curious about the potion... Do something like question his power as an apprentice, like he couldn't get the ingredients. If he takes the bait we're scott free, if he gets wise on the other hand...' she snickered at the thought, 'Anyways, lead him along for a bit then pretend to give in and lead him off in the opposite direction entirely. Tell him some entirely untruthful bit about yourself if you must, it's a potion to keep hair from growing on your knuckles or some absurdity like that. It'll make him think his got something big over when relaly he's got nothing but it should prove enough to get the ingredients. From what little I know about him he'll probably wantto make a trade of some sort, if that happens tell him you've got something of interest but you have to come back here to get it..."
She took a moment to stretch and let the last pieces of the puzzle fall into place. "I'll be waiting up here in case you have such bad luck, I'll take care of trading items. You needn't worry your pretty little head about such trivial matters..." she said in a deeply sarcastic voice. "By then he should be more then willing to give us what we want, and if anyone gets caught it's him. You're simply an innocent bystander being bullied into stealing potion supplies by a seventh year with a bad track record for theivery and underage drinking, hm?' she gave a sacron sweet smile then tilted her head, 'What do you think?'

Zachary leaned forward with excitement as she explained her brilliant plan, his eyes boring into the map. When she finished, he turned to her with a raised eyebrow, accompanied by a small smirk.
"I think it's bloody ingenius." He said truthfully, finally leaning back and thinking it over in his mind, marking down places where he could corner the Hufflepuff. "Moen will likely be easily baited, hot-head and irrational as he is."
With a hungry expression, he picked up the map and stood up off the couch, walking with it slowly. "We should do this as soon as possible-- especially with the Ministry guarding the castle." He narrowed his eyes and folded the map, placing it in the pocket of his robes with a brief glance in Mozess' direction.
"I don't know much about the new Potion's professor, but it is likely he wont be as forgiving as Wigglyfish." He paused, his eyes gleaming. "We'll have to do it when he's least familiar with Hogwarts, won't know where to search if the potion ingredients go missing." With a slight smirk, he sat back on the couch, looking at Mozess with greedy excitement, absent-mindedly watching out for another mysterious colour change.
"I say we start this tonight."

She nodded approvingly of his statement about her plan being brilliant because indeed it was true. As far as evil maniacal went she was a mad genius. She enjoyed observing peoples little bad habits, eavesdropping on conversations, and especially toying with their lives. It was all especially fun when it actually benefitted her for something more than mere amusement.
She rolled her eyes. Dumb Ministry, always getting in the way... "Depends on how you look at the pros and cons," she said thoughtfully, "Right now the lot of them are expecting rebels and hecklers to be pouring out of every nook and cranny. If we act like model citizens for a couple weeks then the fools won't be the wiser... Then again, with all the loud and attention getting rebels making so much fuss right now, a couple kids hanging out in a hallway might not be noticed as easily..." She shrugged and continued listening to his reasoning, becoming more convinced by the second that it very well could be now or never.
She took a deep breath, "Alright then. Tonight it is... but there's now chance you're gonna take that with you..." she said nodding to Zach's pocket where the map now found itself concealed. "If you keep that with you it's going to be all you can do not to spill out this master plan to Moen, and if he catches even slightest glimpse of that map he'll be onto us like a bird on the wing." She gave him a cold glance, eyes now a dark slate grey. She meant business. This was the coolest to happen in this school in a long time. She wasn't going to take any chances with something as big as this.

Zachary nodded slightly, "I suppose you're right. But with Boggleworth and Addis stirring up quite enough trouble for the Ministry, I'm sure if we act a bit sweet towards them, they'll not give us a second glance." He paused, his hand landing ontop of his robe pocket.
He glared at her as she mentioned that if Thom caught glance of it, their plan would be ruined. It was true, he had to admit, but he couldn't help how his eyes narrowed, and his hands clenched onto the pocket protectively. "And where do you suppose I should keep it? With you?" He made a face and shook his head. "It's obvious you're clever," he made sure it sounded more accusitory than complementive, "You'll be able to work the map yourself, and it's possible this entire plan is actually trying to bait me..." He trailed off, pulling the map out of his pocket and leaving it folded on the table.
"But you're going to need some physical strength as well." He could almost feel the roll of her eyes, but stuck his chin in the air anyhow. "Getting the map to work is intellect, but following it's path..." He opened it and trailed across the path with his fingers, before taking it into his hand and giving it to Mozess with narrowed eyes. "...Will require more than that."

She couldn't help but laugh. Were it anyone else she probably would have double crossed them, but she found Zach far too amusing to leave him behind. Besides with the Ministry lurking around every corner she'd need someone to help keep look out.
When she finally caught her breath from laughing she said simply, 'Honor among thieves, give me a little credit here. It's your, what, grandfather's spell book, right? Whatever is at the end of the map is practically an inheritance. Surprisingly, I'm not that cruel. At least for the moment, but it's probably better you continue with the whole mistrust bit,' she nodded calmly, 'Besides, I still need you to go and get the potion ingredients before I can find my way around this thing. Even if I got to the mysterious blank space there might be some fancy incantation or something I have to say that you can only read with the end of the map filled out. In short, can't ditch you quite yet,' she shrugged with a mock sigh, 'Such a shame.'
As he continued his rant about how she would still need him to pull this off her eyes morphed to a humorous purple, 'Cross my my heart and hope Hufflepuff wins the House Cup if I'm lying, I will not run off with the map without you. Not to mention I said I'd be here to come up with something to trade to the ever suspicious Moen if he got crazy on you, right? Now scoot and get the potion ingredients already! Someone's gonna start getting suspicious I'm sure.'

Zachary frowned as she laughed at him, his cheeks flushing faintly, though was satisfied enough with her answer. With a resigned sigh, he stood up once more and glanced back at Mozess.
With a quick brush of his robes, he raised an eyebrow and a small smirk graced his lips. "I'll be back soon--" His voice was a bit shaky with nerves, but there was clearly a tone of excitement present as well. "Don't start anything without me, Alright?"
Keeping her gaze for a moment, he gave an impish grin before clambering out the Common Room quietly.

'Can't start anything without the bloody potion now can I?' she thought humorously with a roll of her eyes as Zach exited the common room. 'Though, in the mean time, I did promise to have something ready to trade to the wanna-be slytherin, Moen...'
She looked around the room momentarily, trying to think of something suitable for barter, then looked at Zach's book... 'I couldn't... could I?' she looked around the room again. Not a body in sight. She made a face and lifted the cover of the book and began flipping through the pages...
-THUMP- shut the book with a cloud of dust. She shook her head, 'Nope, I can't. Irritating... she thought before rummaging around in the couch cushions. 'Well at least this way it's a challege of sorts; turn Slytherin pocket lint into something worth trading to a finicky Hufflepuff... Oh... joy...'
Some time later, sitting cross-legged on an ebony coffee table, Mozess held something small and shiny, 'I guess this'll have to do if things turn to trade for Zach, and otherwise iy'll be back to being lint in... eighteen hours,' she said after looking at a wall clock. She sighed, 'Now if he ever gets back here with those potion ingredients...' she muttered anxiously
