((cool. not sure if i wanna be seeker still... love the new avatar by the way))
Andie had been sitting at the table when she heard the others talking about quidditch. She walked up and introduced herself to the older girl. "Hi. I'm Andie Riley. I heard you guys talking and I was wondering if the seeker position was open?"

"Helia Ollivander," she said, offering a hand to the girl. In answer to the girls question she replied, "Indeed it is. Just opened up. Our old seeker transferred schools, such a shame too. She was brilliant," she nodded slowly. "So, you looking for the position or were you asking for a friend?" she asked with a smile. {Thanks, me too }

"Lovely." Now they were back to having someone in each position, this would work out splendidly. "First practice is in a week, hope to see you there!" She set her quill to the list, placing Andies name where the blank beside the seeker position had been.

Andie smiled brightly. "I wouldn't dream of missing it!" She opened her bag and pulled out her schedule. Her first class of the day was Defense Against the Dark Arts. "Anyone else have Professor Addis this morning?" she asked the others

Girls alway facinated Russell so he stood back (a bit) and watched the two talking. When Andie asked, Rus answered, "yeah, I do!" He scratched his head and looked worriedly at Andie. "We didn't have homework did we?"

Andie laughed. "I honestly have no clue... this is my first time being in the class." With that she pulled out a piece of parchment and paper, slipped on her glasses with blue square frames and began writing stories.

Helia shook her head, "Nope. No homework, the last couple classes were about boggarts and dark creatures and I think the Professor was worried about handing out homework in case trouble makers decided to get too... hands on with their assignments," she shrugged, then looked at her watch, "Ugh,I've got to run. I've still got some homework to finish up before my first class. I'll see you all at practice though!" she said happily before hurrying out of the great hall

Andie waved over her shoulder. "Bye Helia, see ya later!" Andie checked her watch and realized that it was almost time for her first class of the day. Potions. "Well, I better run too. See you guys later." with that she picked up har bag and ran out of the great hall.

And just like that they were gone. He watched Halo leave then Andie. He watched after Andie left, his head cocked slightly. "Bye!" he whispered. Then her realised the other ravenclaw was still there. Rus sat down, back to the table and arms leaning on it, and looked the boy up and down. "So ... Kam, is it?" he asked, "what you got first?"

Loren had been watching the recruiting with great interest, eating her omlette and drinking her pumpkin juice slowly so as not to have to leave the Ravenclaw table too soon in case of any other team developments. As of yet Loren was still undecided about whether or not she wanted to join the House team, and it was certainly beginning to bother her. She couldn't stomach the idea of being a keeper or beater, and wondered hopefully if the seeker or chaser positions were still open.
Two of the girls left, and Loren downed the last of her drink, wishing they had stayed a little longer. A boy sat on the other side of the table just ahead of her. She gave a quirky smile, considering him for a moment. He looked a little goofy to her, but she knew it was foolish to judge a book by its cover - as all Ravenclaws knew - and so slide along the bench until she was opposite him. 'How do you think Ravenclaw will do this season?' she asked jumping right in, an interesting twinkle in her eye.

Russell heard an enchanting voice behind him so he swung his legs over the bench and looked into the eyes of the red head who had spoken. Rus cocked his head and smiled, "well if we finally get a whole team I'd rate we have fighters chance. We are ravenclaws after all," this last part he said leaning closer to her.
He sat up straight and cleared her throught. "Russell's the name, chaser in the game. Great to meet you," he said, smiling once again. The school seemed to be filled with beautiful girls this year but Rus wasn't complaining, far from it, but choosing just one would prove to be a trick and a half.

'Ah too true, Ravenclaw really don't get enough credit for what they are.' she glanced up toward the staff table where the House Cup sat behind the Headmaster's extravagant chair, the silver Ravenclaw shield magically pressed upon it. 'That should have been on there for the last ten years running.' She added, slightly bitter that Slytherin and Hufflepuff had been dominating the trophy for far too long now.
Loren at last looked back at the boy, listening as he introduced himself as a chaser. She gave an impressed smile, also leaning toward him a little. 'Ah, the most important position,' she complimented. She looked him over slowly for a moment before realising she had not returned the favour of an introduction. 'I'm Loren - and its a pleasure to meet you, Russell.' she said softly.

"Oh, yes, of course it is!" Russell said. The compliment had quite nearly knocked him off his feet, luck he was sitting down. He smiled at Loren his usual crooked smile. "So had you decided to join? The team that is?" he asked, his nosy self was being particularly nosy this morning. He grasped a glass of pumpkin juice and sipped it slowly.
