The chilly air nipped Travis' nose and finger tips as he wandered about Hogsmeade. Though it was March, there was still cold in the air. Spring cold, was about it. Nothing like the harsh cold of the winters. Shoving his hands into his jean pockets, he walked around, looking into shop windows now and then. The place wasn't crowded, but it wasn't deserted either. He began to wonder if this meant that the Hogwarts students would be coming. It would be understood if everyone wanted to do their shopping and whatnot without a bunch of snot-nosed brats running around, screaming if their candy fell in the dirt.
Trav should have been at work today, and he should have working on a long report he had to hand in to his boss soon. But he wasn't. He was off, enjoying his life. The corruption with the rouge wizards was surely taking quite a few galleons off his paycheck, and if he wasn't going to be getting a full paycheck, he simply wasn't going to work.
Thinking back to if the Hogwarts students would be coming to Hogsmeade, a sly smile grew on his face. Travis knew very well that his brother, Shafer, wouldn't pass up an opportunity to get out of Hogwarts now and then. A chance to embarrass his little brother would make his day more enjoyable. Who knows? If there was a Hogsmeade trip, Shafer might even bring a friend or two. If he had friends. Or maybe, even a girl friend. If he even had that. Shafer never told his relatives anything. So, of course, Trav was unaware about his brother's life. Nonetheless, he would annoy, embarrass and destroy his brother right there on the spot. What were brothers for?
Upon his small travel, he finally decided to stop, and relax for a bit. Stopping into the Three Broomsticks, he sat down at the bar, ordering himself a fire whiskey. One small glass couldn't hurt. He thought, attempting not to remember the last time he had had fire whiskey, and it resulted with a terrible head ache, and someone who kept sending him owls, but he couldn't figure out who the person was. Taking a sip, he turned around in his seat, looking amongst the people there, attempting to find a familiar face.

Mayella sat in the darkest corner of the Three Broomsticks with her usual sissy drink sitting in front of her. If she wanted to drink heavily, she left it to a flirtatious man to pay for it for her. She wouldn't inflict such vile drinks upon herself, as she did not take to alcohol well. Today May was working on her work actually. She had recently been to a Cannons game for work and had to file reports on injuries due to equipment.
She sighed and sat back in her seat, for she seemed to suddenly become distracted. Something had entered that seemed to require her immediate attention, and she could sense it. May glanced around generally, not looking at faces, and pulled her cloak around her more, with the hood up to shield her face. May didn't want to deal with people today, especially not rogues which were usually the ones to trip this sense. She had been spending a lot of time with Rogues, and May decided to hold off for a while to keep her innocence in the Ministry.

Sarie walked down into the Village of Hogsmeade. She was rather chilly from the walked in the Three Broomsticks. She wanted a butterbeer and since she was alone she decided to sit at the bar. She sat next to a man. "One butterbeer please." She went digging in her pocket to pay for it.

As a small girl sat next to him, ordering a drink, he began to think that it was a Hogsmeade trip day. A smirk grew on his face. This would be a chance to see his little brother, perhaps? Looking around the room, Trav noticed someone familiar, but looking back at where the person was, a hood was drawn over their face. "That can't be.." He mumbled, a sly grin on his face now. Standing up, he took his drink with him, he walked over to the dark corner, in which the hooded person sat now. Seating himself in front of the person, he grinned. "Mayella Reed, that isn't you, is it?" A slight smirk was hiding in his grin now.
May was his mother's best friend's daughter. He had attended Hogwarts at almost the same time as her, only he was three years older and only saw her once or twice within the corridors. Not to mention the countless times both of their mothers had spent time together, dragging their young children around with them to show them off. Mayella was quite the beautiful girl in his eyes, even from the rumors he'd heard about her being a bit of an alcoholic, she still seemed perfect.

May glanced to the door when someone came in. "Just a student?" She mumbled to herself, and picked up her drink to take a sip. I wonder what Bradyn’s doing right now, knowing him he’ll probably stop in for a butterbeer with his friend he raves about. She smiled a bit to herself when thinking about her brother, even if the lazy kid wasn’t her favorite sibling. When she put her drink down she spied someone in front of her and pulled her hood back down. “Well if it isn’t Travis Bourke.” May smiled, maybe he was the one that through her off guard. She was definitely surprised to see him here.
“What are you doing here, not trying to confirm if May’s an alcoholic like everyone says, because if you notice I drink lightly.” She frowned, remembering that she heard that the last time she went to her office and definitely didn’t enjoy getting owl letters about it. A couple nights of drinking a little firewhiskey will just ruin your record, as if being ministry wasn’t poison enough.

Bradyn smirked and stretched out. He was glad that it was comfortable to go outside in just a light shirt and his school robes, instead of having to layer up. Spring was on the way and a Hogsmeade trip was just what he needed. “Shay, where should we hit the Three Broomsticks first like always?” He said, talking to his best mate of course. Bray didn’t really remember if he was supposed to meet Bry this trip or not, and hoped that she wouldn’t be waiting for him somewhere. And if she would be, she’d probably be at The Three Broomsticks like usual anyway. Bray had money in his pocket and he was excited to spend it with friends at Hogmeade, especially if it was going to be on candy and useless tricks. Bray started to head to the Three Broomsticks, knowing that Shay would okay it and he didn’t really care if he didn’t. He wanted to make sure that Bry wasn’t there waiting for him, because she’d probably get after him if he ditched her.

Relief filled him as he grinned wider at her confirmation it was her. He didn't want to go up to some random person and start flirting with them. "Nah. I'm taking a little time off. If the damn Ministry's not going to pay me a full paycheck, I'm not going to working. What's the point of working if you're not getting full credit for your efforts?" Taking another sip of his drink, he smiled again. "And what might you be doing here? Taking time off as well?" Travis was quite the talker at times. It was amazing people hadn't sealed his mouth off and left him to suffer from lack of food.

Pulling off his school robe, he swung it over his shoulder as he and Bray walked into Hogsmeade. A little chill ran down his spine as they walked, but his shirt was enough to keep him warm enough without freezing. Shay wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to walk around outside of school without his school robes on. "Sure. I could go for a butterbeer." He said grinning. Wind whipped him in the face, causing him to have another little chill. "Can't believe it's nearly spring." Shafer said, smiling. "Finally can go out without freezing my arse off."
Walking into the Three Broomsticks, he looked around for an empty table. Finding an empty table, he sat down, flinging his robe over the top of his chair. Looking around, he spotted what looked like his older brother, he did a double take, and nearly fell out of his chair. "Bray!" He whispered loudly. "It's Travis! What in Merlin's name is he doing here?!"

May smiled, it was all about the money for him when he came from a decently wealthy family. Then she put on a serious and almost agitated face. “At least you get a paycheck, there are people out there that work far harder than us and don’t get paid a single knut for it.” But by the end of this she was smiling again and laughed a bit to show that she was joking. Money was the sole reason she was in the ministry after all. “Oh me, I’m doing field work. Attending games, checking equipment, not going to work, talking to rogues. The usual.” May rarely went to her office, which was more of a cubicle where she did her paperwork, which could easily be done anywhere else in the world.
May glanced as once again the door opened and this time more students came in, but at the butt of this crowd was a certain person she knew. She laughed out loud at the site of him, she knew it was her brother right off the bat.

Bradyn shook his head at Shay, taking off his robes probably just to give the ladies a lucky view. That was Shafer, the usual show-off but for some reason that’s what Bradyn liked about him. After sitting down across from Shay, Bray rolled his eyes. “Ok, what? Who’s Travis?” He said and looked in the direction that seemed to freak out his friend. Then his jaw dropped when he seemed to see a very familiar set of hair. Is that Mayella.. and a guy? No way, ew!

A little smirk grew on his face as she turned from a joking beautiful woman, to a woman with hate for the Ministry painted on her face. "I pity them, really," He replied, shaking his head lightly. "The Ministry is ripping by the threads." A small frown lay upon his face. He was really upset with the Ministry. It seemed not to long ago that his job was enjoyable, and he was getting good pay. Now it seemed that the Ministry had let the Rouges get to their head, and they were slacking on other problems. Looking into his drink, he made a mental note not to drink any more fire whiskey after this glass. He didn't want the past repeating it's self. Besides, he only came in for one drink. Looking back up at May, he smiled. "Better then sitting in a box doing paper work." He said, smirking again. "You think they'd give us some slack and at least give us a little room to do paper work." Travis was quite big for his little box office. He stood about six foot six, and his knees were literally in his face when he worked.
Watching as she looked towards the door again, he saw a bunch of students piling into the place, searching for tables. I guess it is a Hogsmeade trip today. He thought, grinning to himself. The sound of laughter filled his ears as Mayella began to laugh. Obviously she was laughing at someone, but he couldn't tell who. Looking at the crowd more closely, he noticed, his little brother. "Perfect." He snickered.
Travis watched as Shafer sat down at a table with some boy. The other boy seemed to have the same features as May, and he began wondering if it was her brother. Nonetheless, he stood up, grabbed May by the wrist, and dragged her over to where his brother sat, hiding his face. "'Ello there, Shafer." A big toothy grin lay on his face now. "What might you be doing here?"
[XD Long!... Oh, side note. Travis doesn't know Shafer likes to be called Shay <_< So he'll continue calling him Shafer. Plus, even if Shay tells him to call him Shay, he'll refuse and make fun of his brother more :)]

A low groan came from the back of his throat as Bray sat down and questioned him. "My older brother. And he's with some bloody girl!" He announced, looking back at his brother. Turning back to Bray, he put his hands over head, and put his chin on the table. "Maybe he won't see me.." He grumbled. Glancing, again, at his brother, he noticed Travis was now standing up and walking over to him. With the ruddy girl. "I hope he's leaving so he can go make out with that girl and leave me alone." He mumbled. But sure enough, Travis was coming over here. And Shay certainly knew why.
Looking up at his brother, who was towering over him. He grimaced. "Don't call me Shafer." He snapped., frowning terribly at him. "Call me Shay." His eyes sparkled with hate and envy. Why did his perfect brother have to be here? "I believe the question is, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be working?" A sly smile grew on his face. "I don't think mum and dad would appreciate knowing that their star son was skipping out on work." Glancing at the girl, he frowned again. "And who in ruddy hell is she? Did you finally get a girlfriend after all these years?"

Sarie felt like she was sitting in a party that she hadn't been invited to. She was about ready to get up and leave. She didn't want to intrude on the people. She ordered another butterbeer and tuned them out she hoped.

Mayella shook her head at ministry talk. "Some days, it's just like. I don't even want to talk about it, think about it. The ministry-rogue thing has gone on for far too long." After finishing her drink, May resolved not to drink the rest of the night if she was going to be in Travis' company; she didn't want unnecessary risks. May smirked, she was considered pretty lucky in her department to not be one of those cubicle only people. Instead she was out making the paperwork for the paperwork people. "Oh, I could never work on paperwork. Where's the action of the sport?"
Glancing back over to her brother, she saw him sit down with another Slytherin. When she took her attention back to Travis he was standing and whisking her away to her brother's table. How interesting it was that she had no idea what was going on, until she noticed how strongly the boys looked like each other. They were obviously brothers by the way they seemed to treat each other. May grimaced and glared at the younger Bourke, seeming to be called Shay, for calling her Travis' whore. "Watch your mouth," She hissed and pushed Bray over to sit on his side of the bench. "Hey, stinky."

Bradyn nodded and decided that he ought to actually find who this Travis was. “Yeah, I hate seeing my sisters with other guys.” He said distractedly as he glanced around the pub. Bray couldn’t help but pause at his sister’s table for a moment and notice that the guy she was with looked an awful lot like Shay. “Wait, they’re getting up right now?” He said, trying not to gag at the thought of them being a real couple. When they came over to their table, Bray knew that he was doomed.
He turned a bit and pulled up his hood, hoping that they would continue just to talk to Shay and not notice him. But of course the ties of blood with his sister would not let her forget him, or the ridiculous child nickname he received. “Shut up.” He groaned when she pushed him over and he rested his head on his arms on the table. Maybe today wasn’t the day to come to Hogsmeade. “Shafer, heh, what a lame name.” He said, smiling a bit when he remembered that he coined that very nickname he went by.
