(Hogsmeade) Spring Time collisions

It was pleasantly sunny in the village of Hogsmeade. It was rather quiet also, seen as it was not yet mid-morning. Blake inhaled a large lungful of the cool morning air. The scent of sweets and other delicacies from Honeydukes reached his nostrils. Oh where to start he wondered to himself.

He practically had the run of the town at this time of the day, most students didn't generally wake early on a weekend unless they had a reason too. Blake However had no reason other than to stretch his legs and mull over certain occurences of the past few days.

The sweet smell of Honeydukes treats reached his nostrils once more. Instantly making up his mind that he would purchase something sweet for his hours of 'rivoting' homework he had to do over the weekend. He would try to make it at least somewhat enjoyable.

Blake rounded the corner and before he knew it, something , well perhaps someone, had collided into his elbow closest to the building.
"Dude! Will you pay a little more attention to yours surroundings next..." He started, however looking down he caught a glimpse of his collisionee and quite forgot his words.

The sun was high and yet it was not yet mid morning which Rieko found quite surprising. She had seen her cousin a couple of days ago and she realised he had got himself into quite a bit of bother. Though this didnt surprise her about Max, he was always getting himself into quite a bit of trouble, though it was usually his best friends fault, though now she had learned that friendship was now over.

Rieko had noticed how quiet it was asides from the odd few groups of girls who seemed to be glaring at her, Rieko glared back not even bothering to stop and find out what their glitch was. Idiots.

It was the first trip to Hogsmeade Rieko had, and she wanted to see everything before heading back to the castle, of course only just coming to the school she found herself void of friends and her sharp tongue didnt do much help to get her some either. Oh well, Rieko didnt mind being a loner, it was much better than standing on some corner gaggling at passing boys.

Rieko was walking a lot faster than she realised and when she turned a corner she walked full whack into someone, stumbling back and tripping over something she found herself on the floor, twice in one week! She glanced up to see who she had walked into and saw herself looking at Blake, smiling a bit nervously as she realised she was in exactly the same situation as she was when she first met him. "Funny how thats the second time in a week you've told me to watch my surroundings... Maybe i'll start listening"

Blake watched slightly guiltily as Reiko realised who he was. And that once again they had begun with another rather unusual meeting.
"Indeed I think for your own well being, you should perhaps heed my words of wisdom!" He began to laugh once he had realised that her impact with the floor had caused her no harm.

Smiling, Blake offered Rieko his hand.
"Still not bordering on gentlemanly like behaviour?" He added with a cheeky smile. And starring intently into her eyes he helped her to her feet once more.

Then deciding perhaps it best to break eye contact rather than cause and unconfortable scene, he ran his hand through his hair.
"So umm.. where you heading then? Need a escort? We can't have you walking around by yourself now can we!"He declared with a grin.

"Im starting to believe that it would be a good, if not great idea to mind my surroundings" Rieko smiled a little bit, thankfully her fall hadnt done anything apart from scratch her hands where she landed. Though theu only stung, something she was sure she could deal with, "Seriously though, we've got to stop running into eachother. Literally..."

Rieko took Blake's hand with a smile and noted his cheeky grin that followed his cheeky comment. "Hmm, you're getting there" she laughed, "Could do with some work though, Harrison's still beating you" She was happy to find herself verticle once more but couldnt help but wonder, how long it would last.

Rieko looked away too when he broke eye contact with her, only looking back at him when he spoke again. "Oh" she said, "I actually have no idea where im heading, im just going away from those girls who keep glaring at me and have done since i walked past them before" she said, pointing over her shoulder at the girls who were still glaring at her, "Pathetic little dogs" she said aloud, loud enough for them to hear her too, "I would love an escort, thank you Mr Adams" she smiled, "Though, i dont know where i need to be escorted to, since ive never actually been here before"

"Yesh, indeed I believe we must! Or else I think you may come off worse. Eventually you'll do yourself harm, and at this rate no doubt it will be my fault, if this is a regular occurence anywho!" Blake said with an almost guilty expression.

"No way! Harri isn't a patch on me! But hey getting there eh, its an improvement all the same! I have an idea though.. it may not be considered 'gentlemanly like', however you may find it of use, if not vaguely amusing!" He declared with a mischieveous glint in his eye.

"First time in Hogsmeade and with no agenda too?! This is not to be born! Right then Miss I was heading off to Honeydukes, thats the sweetshop. Anyway.. and this would allow to put my plan into action!" With this Blake took Rieko's hand and pulled her to the side.
"Right bare with me. All I want you to do is smile and look happy. Ok? I'm sure you can manage that quite easily! And perhaps maybe giggle a few times for affect, ready?"

However before she could utter a response, Blake put his arm around Rieko and began walking towrads Honeydukes. Smiling broadly as he went, they walked past the gaggle of girls. Whose jaws dropped instantaneously, waving at them fleetingly. They headed through the door and into honeydukes.

"And it would not bode well one day to visit the Hospital Wing and say its because i keep running into you would it?" Rieko laughed as she looked at Blake, though seeing his almost guilty expression Rieko smiled, "Hey no seriously, its my fault. Im a big clutz, ask Maxi, he'll tell you what im like" She assumed he knew Maxi, or at least who he was anyway.

"No your right he isnt, because he has proven to me more gentleman like than you" she stuck her tongue out playfully, not really meaning anything by it, though seeing the glint in his eyes she grew curios. "This sure sounds interesting"

Rieko felt herself being tugged to the side, away from the other girl's lines of view as she listened to him. It was not her fault she had never been here before, Maxi had said he would show her but he seemed to be having boyfriend trouble at the moment and Rieko didnt want to bother him. "Well yes, im a smiler... But what is this all--" though before she could finish, she was already being pulled away from the wall and down the street.

Might as well play along. Rieko smiled as she walked down the street, putting one of her arm around his waist, looking at him and smiling. She had to suppress the laugh that was welling up inside her when she saw the girls waving at them, as if wanting to get Blake's attention, Idiotic children! Cant even see a lie when its put in their faces she thought to herself and gave them the look that said, Ah ha ha, ive got him and you havnt! Sure enough the girls knew what this look meant and did not like it.

As they got into Honeydukes, Rieko let out the laugh she had been hiding and turned to Blake and said, "Looks like your fanclub didnt like the show! What was all that about anyway? You that desperate to get them off your tail or something?"

Blake chuckled at Rieko's remark "Why yesh indeed, it would be most amusing to inform a teacher that you had injured yourself on more than one occasion because you kept crashing into me!" He Mulled the name Maxi over through his mind, it sounded vaguely familiar though not to a large extent.
"Maxi? Ermm I may have seen him around the commonroom a few times, the name sounds familiar at least. Perhaps we walk in different circles?" He stated though being somewhat distracted.

As they walked toward Honeydukes together, to the dismay of the gaggle of girls. He found it hard to suppress a laugh, at their faces, Rieko was doing a fantatsic job, playing along as he had wanted and she seemed to be enjoying it too.

The door clicked shut to Honeydukes and as it did, Blake roared with laughter.
"Oh man did you see their faces? Oh geez, I haven't seen them look that annoyed for a while!" He attempted to state amongst outbursts of laughter and gasps to catch his breathe back.

"Why? Well why not? Being the first point. Also I don't think they'll cause you as much grief now, and ooo are the jealous!" He chuckled with enjoyment.
Realising they had just enetered a relatively quiet shop, Blake attempted to stiffle his laughter and stand up straight once more. Grinning down at Rieko.
"So Miss. Welcome to Hogwarts, how do you like it so far?"

"Yeah it would, trying to explain to someone that i keep on running into you and ending up on the floor could almost be comical" she laughed. "Maxi Hennerdale, he's my cousin. Gryffindor Prefect?" She enquired looking at him, "You cant really miss him, he's a big blonde thing, stands at 6'2 he's huge..."
"I dont know what circle he walks in, He was Mark Alméida's best friend but i heard they fell out. He was going out with someone called Ashton McLane, but they broke up. Maxi was mum on the details"

Rieko couldnt help glancing at the girls who seemed to have fire in their eyes, they were looking at Blake with longing, and looking at Rieko with hate. Though she didnt mind, she just played along anyway, putting her head on his shoulder and looking up at him with puppy eyes as though she had said something that warrented this look.

Rieko put her hand on her stomach as she nearly crumpled over laughing so hard. "I think they hate me now!" Rieko laughed, though she clearly was not bothered by it.

"No, i think they'll cause me even more" She laughed, "Do you not know how dangerous a fanclub can be when they think you're interested in someone other than them? Even if it is fake, they dont know that. I'd say my fun with them is just getting started"
"Im loving it at the moment, but its certainly beginning to get more interesting" she spoke, grinning back at him.

Blake listened to Reiko desribing her cousin and allowed the image to come together in his mind
"Oh wait, I know who you mean! Not that we've ever been formerly introduced but I know who you mean!"


"Hardly hate you, seriosuly jealous though, I think you'll have them eating out the palm of your hands in no time! They'll probably try and be pally with you though, so they can get more information on me, but it might stop them glaring. They'll be all sweetness from now on!" Blake chuckled at the image that came to him. Like ravenous rabbits. When in sight they are all cuteness and niceities, however turn your back and they'll be at your throat. Blake however doubted hgihly that the stunt would cause any real issues for Rieko. Rather more increase her popularity somewhat.

"Oh really, good to know. Hogwarts is a marvellous place, however it is making it interesting that is the best bit!"
With this Blake moved to the side half bowing, and gestured towards the sweet counter whilst saying
"Miss, your treats await you!" And with a smile watched as she walked past him further into the shop.

Staightening up and following Rieko, watching her as she went. "So Miss, what do you desire? Fizzing whizbee's, Sugar quills or something much sweeter?" He added with a smile.

"Well he's somewhat of a moody runt these days" Rieko told him and shruggd, "Even when i was round at his for summer, he didnt want to do anything but sit in his room and brood all day"

"Dont i just adore little love sick puppies" she said dryly as she thought of the girls following her around and being all nice, trying to get into Blake's good books and even going to the extent to get him to notice them. "I think i might pass on that offer, seriously I dont even know you well so its not like i could tell them anything even if i wanted to" Rieko laughed a little and said, "Of course them lot now think i know you very well" Rieko didnt mind being envied as long as that envy stayed where it was and didnt come pestering her, Rieko had no patience for people like that. In fact she didnt have patience for much things really. Usually if things didnt go her way she pretty much gave up on them.

"Its like any good place, its only as good as you make it" Rieko looked at him and smiled, "And its the company you keep which makes it interesting"
Rieko looked past him and into the shop at all the sweets, she definatly had a soft spot when it came for sweets, sweet tooth.

"Well i'd never say no to something sweeter" she smiled back, "But in the meantime, a sugar quill and a licorice wand will do" She picked them up and went to the counter, paying for them she turned back to Blake, "What about you?"

Blake found Rieko's response to the idea that his fanclub would follow her round somewhat amusing. And with a cheeky grin he replied "Oh yeh indeed, i'm sure you will find it very..diverting. However don't pride yourself too much, they'll much rather follow me around if they get the chance. However it will provide me with some amusement at least!"

Catching her expression about the event he then added. "Not to worry, allow them to think that. It's keeps them on there toes!" he chuckled and then continued "And as long as you don't portray me in a bad light, then you can just make up some random things for your amusement, its fun playing with their minds i'm sure you'll find!"

"Ah, spoken with much wisdom indeed. However it is true, and i'm sure you will find the company here more than satisfying!" Blake supressed a grin and winked cheekily at her.

Blake watched as Rieko, collected her sweets and paid, rather quickly. "Oooo Decisive! No time to mess around I see, I apologise for holding you up miss!" he stated in the most formal tone he could muster, however smiling slightly as he finsihed the sentence.

Blake took his hand to face and stroked his chin "Hmmm choices choices, i'm afraid I am a rather undecisive person myself! However I require something Tasty for my Studies later.. A sugar quill is always a safe bet!" With this he went to the sugar quill pot and took a few. As he did something to his left caught his eye.

"Ooo and what dare I say are these?!" Looking down upon the side, there was a bowl of little red sweets that popped occassionally. "Well I am most intrigued, i'll be having a few of those too I think!" Blake took a small handful of the little red sweets and took them took the counter, whilst searching through his pocket and taking out a few loose coins. "Thank you my good sir!" he said to the man behind the counter and turned back to face Rieko once more.

"Well now who has a big head?" She laughed and looked at Blake with crossed arms. "Besides, now they think, whatever it is you think, they will probably find someone else to latch their stupid childish crushes on, considering they probably think that the cause with you, is now lost"

"I dont know..." Rieko said, for now the ploy was seeming quite fun, but it would only get tedious later on down the line, Rieko knew all too well playing with other peoples minds was a dangerous thing and it didnt set you too far off from other people either. "We'll see, though we might find its them having the last laugh"

"Well im not minding the company i have had just recently" she said with a smile, "At least not yet, anyway" Rieko smiled and looked away from Blake and into one of the baskets. "Well you know, so much to see so little time and all that crap" Rieko laughed when he apologized, of course it was only pretence as a lot of their conversations were sarcastic, "And of course, i accept your apology"

Rieko waited for Blake to choose and pay, standing near the windows and looking out, seeing the girls, their eyes fixed on Honeydukes, she sighed, Do they never give up? She thought, Why can they not see, Blake is not interested in them! If he was, he'd have done something about it by now. She looked at Blake and gave him a warm smile before looking back out onto the streets.

Blake chuckled at Rieko's remark. "Ah yesh indeed, It's requires inflateing at times, otherwise I lose balance!" With this he pretended to slump slightly as if her blow had caused his head to deflate somewhat. However standing straight once again, he put on a proud facial expression "However I doubt they would latch onto someone else. I mean, when you could follow this handsome face around, there is no competition!"

"Them having the last laugh eh? And how would you imagine that? They wouldn't do anything to put me down, so I doubt it highly!" He asked in wonder as to what she had meant by such a statement.

Blake hid a smile as Rieko claimed that she didn't mind the company. "Indeed! there are few finer people about the castle!" He declared with a little bow to her. However as she continued speaking he attempted to put on an affronted expression. "Not yet? Why, do you expect us to annoy you upon closer acquaintance?!" Blake watched as she turned her head and broke eye contact with him.

"Well, that is very kind of you Miss thank you!" He said in a formal manner though with a smile and once again bowing to her.

As Blake turned around to face Rieko after paying. He found she had moved to the window, Rieko turned and gave him a warm smile and once again turned and was looking upon the street. Smiling slightly he walked up behind her, and waited for her to turn and face him once again.

When Rieko had eventually turned to check where he was, he smiled and said "So Miss where would you care to go next on our tour of Hogsmeade, any preferences?"

"Well I wont be inflating it for you Blake" Rieko smirked, "You seem to have enough people who are willing to do that for you" Rieko watched him, slightly confused, slightly worried for him at the same time. Remind me to book this guy into St Mungo's when I next have the chance Rieko thought with a nice smile on her face, trying to make him think she was either thinking nice thoughts, or finding his deflation funny. "What about Harri?" She asked slyly, "He's not a bad looker you know, your fanclub might go to him... Poor guy, as if he doesnt have enough already" Thinking back to the day in the corridor when that brunette haired girl marched over to them.

"No, maybe not" Rieko said simply, "But you never know with girls" she circled around him, "One minute you might think you've got them slightly figured, and the next" She laughed as she stopped behind him, "they may do something that would take you completly by surpise" However, Rieko didnt do a thing, usually any girl that would have said something like that, would have jumped on his back or slapped his ass, not Rieko though. She just went and stood back infront of him.

"No I dont" Rieko laughed, she liked these two lads, thought of them as highly amusing company. Though she did feel slightly sorry for them because they never seemed to get a moment alone. At this, one of the girls who was outside came in and gave Blake a huge smile, saying "Hi Blake!" in a sickly sweet voice that nearly made Rieko gag. Though she settled for rolling her eyes as the girl stood there waiting for a reply from him.

"Im a kind girl" she spoke back, looking back out of the window as she waited for Blake and paid no attention to his bow. The girl, whoever she was, was standing there, looking at Blake as though expecting him to answer, Rieko raised an eyebrow and said to him, "Its rude to ignore people you know Blake," turning to the girl she put on a very sarcastic smile and said, "Just as its rude to stare"

"Well I dont know anywhere in Hogsmeade, you're my tour guide Blakey Boo!" She laughed, saying his name like that on purpose to wind the other girl up. Rieko had no tolerance for girls who flung themselves at guys, it made her a little sick.

"Ah, indeed I do, they respond to my every call. Tis not a bad life!" Blake said with a grin. "Harri? Prfft he is good, however not as good as me. And he is the one that should fear, he is more likely to lose the members from his to me. Especially that Jennie, she's too easy!" Blake stated this with a proud expression and pretended to play with the end of his fingernails.

Blake stood still, as Rieko encircled him, however he could not see what she did as she went behind him. With a small smile. He listened to her as she spoke of things, that girls would do to surprise them. She then went quiet for a few moments. Hiding his smile as he wondered what it was she was thinking. His mind was almost instantly put at ease as she came back round infront of him once again. "It's alright dear, I quite understand if you just wanted to check out my ass, you could have just said something!" He winked cheekily at her. Wondering how she would take such a remark.

Unfortunately Blake did not have time to gauge this expression of hers as a voice called from behind him. Putting a charming smile upon his face, he swivelled on the spot. "Oh hey... Abi.." Blake could not actually remember the girls name so he hoped, he was right, however, they would just think they were special and he was playing with them even if he did get one wrong.
"Oh come now, you know I would never ignore you darling!" He said with all his possible charm. However Rieko was not helping the situation. Though he had to try hard not to let out a laugh, as Rieko gave back as good as she got.

The girl then shot him a look as if to say. 'And what are you doing with her? She is hardly worthy of your status.' With this Blake decided he Should introduce them, Rieko may not appreciate it to a great extent but it would keep Abi quiet. "Ah Abi, I was just showing Rieko here around Hogsmeade. She is new and it is her first trip here." Blake then turned to Rieko with an apologetic smile hoping she would understand. "And Rieko this is Abi. One of the most pretty amongst those gracing the Gryffindor commonroom!" This however was not strictly true. But Blake wasn't insane.

"Ah, indeed you do not, So Abi, we must leave you and continue on our tour!" Blake paid little attention to be being called BlakeyBoo, names such as that were a regular occurence and he had learnt not to cringe now.
With this he turned to Rieko "Come on Miss. To the next place on our agenda!" And without looking back at Abi, he took Rieko by the arm and led her back out into the sunny street once more.
