Rieko sighed, some guys seriously neeeded their head deflating, and Blake was one of them. She vowed she would never become like those girls, seriously, they made her hack. What was the point in following a guy around, tail between their legs, almost drooling and panting. "Oh, a competition to see who can get the more girls?" she asked, though her voice was quite cold as she said it. She rolled her eyes and realised that these kinds of guys were just as idiotic as Jenni and those types of girls. "Seriously, made for each other" she mumbled.
Rieko didnt suffer fools and she did not much like thier stupidity surrounding her, though she couldnt help but like Blake and Harri, even though they were clearly idiots, they were quite amusing idiots and Rieko could have a lot of fun getting them both into trouble. Fun indeed. "Believe me I did that already" she said with a shrug and amusingly, watched the spectacle infront of her.
She caught the glare the girl she assumed to be called Abi gave her, and Rieko gave her one back as if to say, Look at me like that again and ill rip your eyes out, seriously, these girls were pathetic. Why waste their time chasing Blake and Harri around, didnt they have better things to do?
Rieko stared at Blake when she introduced him to this girl. "Thanks for telling her my name, Blake. Appreciated" Rieko however, did not take her eyes of this girl and gave a snort when Blake said she was pretty, hissing at him, "Where are you looking?" she smiled sweetly at Abi as though she hadnt said a word.
With this, Rieko was getting fed up and walked over to Blake, slipping her arm in his she gave Abi a sly smile, "Yes, we really must go, because you know..." she looked at Blake and then at Abi, "Blake and I were well... Blake and I" Rieko looked at the other girl who was now giving her death stares, though it seemed as Rieko went to go out of the door, the girl stepped in her way, with a smile she looked at Blake, "Control your lady friends," as she walked back to Blake she added in a undertone so only he could hear, "Though a few pustules might improve her looks a bit"

Blake could not help noticing the coldness in her voice. Why this had come about he did not know. Considering their meeting so far, he did not know what he had done that was so offensive to her. However putting it to the back of his mind, he carried on as usual. He could not let thoughts of a new acquaintance affect him so much. Standing straight in a proud fashion he stated. “No no, it is simply no competition. I win by miles every time. But it is not so much about the number of girls, rather more the general popularity. However in the long run it makes no real difference to us at the end of the day.” With this he smiled. Hoping not to receive a cold reception again.
A look of guilt crept across Blake’s features when he realised that Rieko was definitely not overly infused about making Abi’s acquaintance. He would apologise later in some way, and hoped it would be sufficient.
Blake felt Rieko take his arm, which he realised she was only doing to wind up the other girl must to her own amusement and to his also, even though he could not show it. He began toward the door, and felt a small tug upon his arm once they were almost there. He turned to see that Abi had moved in her way. Blake had no idea why she should behave in such a manner. What was it with girls that meant they would not get on as easily as blokes generally did! It didn’t half cause issues for the men involved. With this Blake shot a look of disgust at Abi hoping she would realise that her conduct was not as it should of been. He smiled apologetically at Rieko once again. It was not really part of the tour he had imagined.
Blake had to refrain from laughing at Rieko’s rather quiet remark. And continued to the door once again. Once they were outside Honeydukes he allowed the smile to break. “Why yesh indeed, i believe it would! You are quite right. However Rieko..” He looked her in the face and began with the apology showing in his eyes he hoped. “I am sorry for how she treated you in there. It is truly awful for them to act as they do. Especially to one they don’t know. I would not wish it to happen. Please allow me to show my apologies in some manner?” He smiled down at her, hoping she would accept his apology.

Rieko didnt bother looking at him as he gave an explanation of his and Harri's competition, no matter how you worded it or what phrase you used it was still a competiton. Though by the sounds of it, wasnt much of one if Blake won all the time, maybe Rieko should throw a spanner in their works, show them girls werent supposed to be messed with or taken lightly. "That's only because the girls who run after you two would be the ones to give in too easily, therefor be easy themselves" Rieko looked at him sterly, her blue eyes showing signs of danger and ice, as if just asking for him to challenge her.She hoped he wasnt dense and knew her meaning. Still, no matter how much she disliked these girls, treating them like they were scaps of meat just to be toyed with and thrown away when they were done with them, wasnt right either.
Rieko saw his guilt and smiled inwardly, so he should feel bad about it, she did not want to know these girls for she had neither the time nor the patience. She raised an eyebrow, before showing signs of boredom with the two and turning her attention elsewhere.
She didnt much like the other girls attention span on herself and shot her another warning look. Her eyes were dangerous anyway from when Blake had wound her up, she was just hoping this girl would give her a reason to hex her into the next millenium. "I'd be careful if I were you" she hissed at the girl, "Wouldnt want to make any more of mess of that face of yours" though lowering her voice to a smirk she added, "If thats humanly possible" Rieko really did not care what she said, or how she said it. And to people like these, she delighted in making thier perfect worlds crash down. However, she ignored the apologetic look from Blake and tugged him out of the door.
When she got outside, Rieko let go of Blake's arm and crossed her own over her chest looking at him. "Never, introduce me to one of you're leeches again" she warned. A strand of blonde hair had fell infront of her eyes as she moved it with her hand, and looked back at him. Her eyes had softened somwhat, as had her voice. "It depends on how you show your apology" she spoke slowly but softly, "If i see it as a decent enough one, i shall accept it." Her mouth curved into a smile, though he had no reason to say sorry to her, she just liked playing with him. He seemed easy to play with.

“Give in too easily, I can assure you they most certainly don’t. As you may have gathered they don’t tend to leave us be if they can help it! And have you seen the other sad Gryffindor lads, who try there luck. It is somewhat pathetic, they get turned down with so little thought on the girls behalf. It is atrocious. Poor blokes. However it is not our fault if we are just too damn good looking for others to get a look in!” With this Blake shrugged his shoulder as if it were nothing and sighed.
As soon as they were in the street once again and out of site of the front of Honeydukes, Reiko turned her coldest yet. She glared at and expanding on how displeased she was to have been introduced to Abi. He knew it would not have gone down well. But this he did not expect.
“I am sorry Reiko. I hardly wanted to be followed! But what could I have done?” Blake looked into her eyes. As a strand of hair fell infront of her face. He wanted to move it out of the way, but it would not have been the wisest of moves. However when she had moved it herself and looked back into his face once more. Her expression had changed. Much as it had been before the whole Abi kafuffle. “How to show my apology?” Blake had not thought about how he was going to apologise, what would be acceptable, somewhere, nice yet quiet so they can talk, and perhaps less likely to be bothered by the fan club. The latter was not the most possible option in the world. But it was not too bad occasionally. Then it struck him.
Looking into her eyes, her put on his charming smile. “Could I perhaps buy you a drink Miss?” and with this he bowed. Hoping that she was not so annoyed with him to not even have a drink in the three broomsticks with him.

"I meant give in easily where it concerns you and Harrison" She said stonely, looking at him. She didnt have any respect for girls who would drop their knickers to anyone easily, but she was sure if Blake asked Abi to, she would do. Though this hardly needed pointing out because Rieko was sure Blake knew the same thing. "Well its those sad Gryffindors, as you so bluntly put it, that I would happily go out with. They dont pride themselves on how many girls they can get" She had her arms folded, though she wasnt saying that Blake did pride himself, though it was seeming to her as though he did.
She couldnt help feeling a little annoyed, she didnt like girls like that and she was sure Blake knew that. So yeah, it annoyed her the fact that he would tell a wretch like Abi her name, now she would never get a moments peace from them.
"You could have actually told her the truth for once, instead of lying" Rieko bit back, sure enough, Rieko did not like Abi, but she felt sorry for her that Blake could lie straight to her face, "The girl thinks she stands a chance with you and its so obvious she doesnt! So why lie to her Blake? Explain it to me, cause im confused!" She looked at him through her angry eyes, "Seeing that makes me think that.. that you think exactly the same way about me. That im just another idiot friend of Blake Adams, who he laughs at behind their backs and says goodness knows what else! How do i know you're not lying to my face too?"
She sighed, she was annoyed with him, but he was the first friend she had made, and what she had said a moment ago wouldnt be disproven easily to her. If she found out that was the case with him, then he would be the sorriest guy alive. "Yes, fine" she said rather hastily, "I could do with a drink"

Blake shook his head. She had misunderstood his meaning, and in doing so it had made it worse for himself. He could try and explain, though Reiko was somewhat stubborn and Blake did not expect her to sway easily. “No Reiko, I did not mean, sad as in sad acts. I rather more meant, that the girls were cruel in how they turned them down with very little thought or consideration. It was not a slight on my fellow Gryffies!” Blake was now looking at her almost despairingly. “How many we can get? As a following perhaps, but come on do you truly believe we would be capable of such deception? We are Gryffindors not Slytherins!” Why they were arguing was beyond him, over such a silly thing aswell. He was not half as shallow as she seemed to think. Not learning to read a persons disposition before passing judgement, and yet he was considered the shallow one.
“Oh come off it! She knows there is nothing there, otherwise we would seek her out to spend more time with her ourselves. And I have not lied to her, I have not done anything to suggest such a thing. She will have noticed we are the same with all of them unless we actually really like someone!” Now fighting to keep him voice at a calm level, he did not wish to argue with her, rather more deciding it best to leave it there. He had no quarrel with Reiko and did not intend to start one.
Blake was somewhat relieved in a way when she decided she would still keep his company and go for a drink with him. At least she was not as angry at him as she sounded. Though he thought he should tread somewhat more carefully now. “Ok then, to the three broomsticks we go.” Blake put a smile on. He had never been cut down in such a way by anyone. He was more confused to be received in such a way than anything. Blake led the way through Hogsmeade to The Three Broomsticks. Hoping more than anything that they did not stray across more of the fan club. They reached The Three Broomsticks and he took hold of the door handle, opening standing back and holding the door for Reiko, bowing slightly.
Following Reiko through the door, he pointed in the direction of a free table in the corner. Walking over to the table he took off his jacket and placed it on the seat. And walked to the other side of the table pulling the chair out for Reiko to sit down. “There you are Miss. Will a butterbeer do for you?” Blake added with a smile.

The wind blew as the two of them stood there, having this slight argument in the street. She knew Abi was looking, she could see her through the window, and Abi looked mighty pleased with herself, which, obviously, did not improve Rieko's mood. "Well i am sorry if that's the way it comes across to someone like me" she said tonelessly, still watching Abi out of the corner of her eye who was grinning most annoyingly, "It seems as though this school is full of people like that..." she didnt quite know where she was going with this sentance, but nonetheless she was cut off by another gust of wind with blew her hair into her face once more, but this time, she did not remove it. "Well it seems as though the houses dont set much by standards these days, it seems as though some Gryffindors act more like Slytherins, and vice versa!"
"Well if she knows as much why does she keep trying?" She asked very sarcastically, "Are you blind enough not to see it, Blake? She does think she has a chance, for gods sake im a girl and i know the signs!" She sighed in exsaperation, "You told her she was 'pretty' which we both know she is not, and you do not think she is. That is a lie... Whether you told her to spare her feelings or not does not matter, you still said it..." She stopped there and looked at him, "You know what, forget it. It doesnt matter"
Rieko didnt know how Blake was feeling, but she spoke what she thought and didnt spare people's feelings, she was honest and thats all she wanted him to be, with her, with his fanclub. Though she knew Blake would never tell Abi what he thought of her, so she gave up pretending one day he might. She followed him to the three broomsticks, without saying so much as a word, she walked into the pub and sat down where he told her to, she was taking deep breaths inwardly and trying to control her anger. She gave a small nod when he asked her if a butterbeer was alright and when he walked off, she gave a long sigh and told herself to calm down. Trying to put on a smile for when he came back.

Blake looked on as Rieko still seemed to be getting ever more annoyed at him. He did not see what her issue was. She was ranting away at him still, however she was suddenly cut short by a rather strong gust of wind, which caused he blonde hair to dance around in the air and land upon her face once again. Blake had the returning desire to brush the hair from her face. But waited for her to remove it herself otherwise he would more than likely get shouted at for such a thing. However Rieko simply continued and ignored her hair. ‘Well it is worth a shot anywho..’ Blake thought to himself. Outstretching his arm slightly he reached upto Rieko’s face and with a small smile moved her hair lightly out of her face and placed it behind her ear. “You may think that if you wish, but there are huge differences between the two.” Allowing a smile to grace his lips once again.
Looking at her is disbelief as Rieko continued on about the whole Abi situation. Sure perhaps they could not lead them on to the same extent. But girls needed to be crossed in love on at least one occasion, it gave them something to talk about. Thankfully she had decided not to bother Blake about this anymore. After perhaps realising they were both as stubborn as each other at times.
Pushing Rieko’s chair in as she sat down, he waited to receive a nod or some indication of what she would like. “Right then, two Butterbeer’s coming up!”he declared and with this he headed off to the bar to get the drinks. Smiling at the barmaid as she enquired to who he was with. Whilst fishing out some coins from his jean pocket, placing them upon the counter. He glanced over at Rieko who looked more subdued than usual. Smiling at the barmaid once more he collected the drinks and turned back toward the table. Hoping more than anything that their previous ‘heated debate’ would not continue. “Here you go Miss. So how are you liking Hogsmeade so far?” Blake smiled down at her and took his seat opposite Rieko.

Rieko took a deep breath, when her temper flared it was very difficult to get it to settle again. She wanted to stop ranting like an idiot at Blake but he kept on pushing and pushing and she very nearly hit boiling point, thankfully, for the both of them, he stopped trying to take her on. Which she found both annoying, and thankful She flinched a little as his hand came towards her face and moved her hair away. That was weird she thought to herself. One minute she was ranting away like a banshee at him, now he was moving her hair our of her face with a smile on his own. Rieko, if she was Blake, would have ran a long time ago. "Uhm" She said, seeming lost for words which was most unlike Rieko, "Thanks..." She shook her head and looked at him again. brief moment of slight weirdness and confusion over she spoke, "Like what? Give me some examples of the differences" though she pushed, her voice had gone from angry and cold, to kind and warm, and with a smile she found she was no longer angry at him.
She had absolutley no idea where this had all started, though glancing back at Honeydukes, she saw Abi looking smug through the window, how she wanted to do something to wipe that smug look off her face. Giving her a smile, she looked at Blake. She took hold of his arm with both of hers, and looped her hand with his, she looked back at Abi and smiled, she turned to Blake and lightly kissed his cheek before pulling him off down the street
She sat down in the three broomsticks as Blake went to get the drinks, an elderly witch said to her, "Your date not going well hunny?" Rieko looked at her dumbfounded, "Oh, no were not on a date! We're just friends" The woman laughed as Blake returned with the drinks, "Thanks, I'm sorry about the whole grabbing you outside honeydukes. Just she was smirking something rotten and i had to wipe it off her face" She shrugged and looked at him, "Sorry about being an impossible... stubborn wench too" laughing, she nodded, "It seems alright"

Blake was glad to see that the action had had the desired effect. Rieko’s expression softened and she began to smile again. However he was not willing to allow it to show upon his own face. Only continue to smile slightly at her. “No problem. Having hair cover your face could never be a good thing.” Blake smiled at her and flattened the tufts of hair at the back of his neck.
“Like what? Well for one thing we are genuinely caring and more often than not we are kind. And hell, are we brave! Unlike the cowardice shown in Slytherin. They would not risk harm to themselves to help another, even of their own family.” He may have been basically spieling off what the sorting hat would say. But it was true all the same.
Blake found it somewhat amusing as she apologised for her kissing him on the cheek previously. However decided perhaps not to show it. He had been left unsure as to what Rieko could take offence about now. So thought it best to play it safe. “Ah not to worry. She did need that smirk wiping from her face after all.” Blake smiled across at her. “She was rather unpleasant to you and deserved what she got. But that’s in the past now, so let us speak of it no more.” Blake laughed, “You have nothing to apologise for. And we can all be fairly stubborn at times. I’m just as bad!” Blake was generally perceived as a relatively easygoing chap, which was for the most part true. Though if it was something he deemed worth fighting for or of relative importance. He could be just as stubborn as anyone and would not back down easily.
“It is alright indeed, a small quiet town ‘tis rather quaint in its own way.” Smiling Blake looking out of the window you could see down into the sunlit valleys surrounding the general Hogwarts/Hogsmeade area.

Rieko knew her cousin would be on her back if he heard about how quickly and easily she had lost her temper. He spent most of the summer holidays last year trying to help her to control it, and they both thought she had it under control. She smiled apologetically at him, she didnt want him to think that she was always in a foul temper. The first time she met him she spoke nastily to him aswell. "No, I dont suppose it is" She smiled at him before saying jokingly, "Maybe you should put some gel on that?"
"I've seen Slytherins who seem to genuinly care for others so that argument is void, as is the bravery one, ive seen some who are very brave" She stuck her tongue out at him but left it there, "Come on, we have a drink waiting for us both"
Rieko smiled and looked down into her drink as he agreed with her. She could see the elderly woman looking at them both too, and this was making her rather uncomfy. It seemed she was watching their every move and after her comment before, Rieko knew why. She just prayed silently the elderly woman would not say anything else, Rieko wasnt easily embarrassed but didnt know if Blake was. "Well, yeah she was unpleasant, but what do you expect from a girl who fancies you, and see's you with another girl?" she laughed. "Still it was amusing" "Seems we have clashing personalities" She smirked, "We had better watch out for that, though if i were you id be more worried about me running into you all the time. Or, you know. Jumping at you in a way that doesnt look quite like me" She was of course referring to the time she jumped into his arms in her Tiger form, but changed back to her human form mid-jump, "You quite good at catching, you on the quidditch team?"
Relativly normal conversation. "It's relaxing, definatly different from the bustle of the castle"

Blake smiled “Indeed it isn’t! And perhaps I should, however my hair may do as it chooses. I’ll just go for the sexy windswept look too!” and with this he winked cheekily at her. And laughed because as he uttered these words, another strong gust of wind swept through the town, encircling them both. “You see, much better don’t you think!” He laughed and ran his hands through his hair.
Blake watched as Rieko suddenly became somewhat uncomfortable. Intrigued as to why, he looked around for the reason. Looking to his left he noticed an old witch staring at them. He gave her a small smile, and turned his attentions back to Rieko. Wondering why she would possibly be made uncomfortable by such a thing. Perhaps she had met her before. Thinking nothing more of it he began, “Ah I spose. But that still hardly gives her the right to act in such a manner does it. Was amusing indeed, I have never seen such a sour expression as that!” Blake chuckled as the image filled his mind.
Blake smiled “Clashing personalities. Indeed not, just perhaps a few varying opinions! Worried? Nah, I always enjoy meetings, even if they are quite literally coming togethers. And I must say I have never had any issues against cute critters.” He laughed as the image of the white blur crashing into a suit of arms graced his memory. “Ah alas, indeed I am not on the quidditch team, even though I could be I am sure. Studies and the like, kept me from making it possible. Do you have much interest in the field of quidditch then my dear?” Blake asked with much intrigue, he could have a budding quidditch star in his company and not know it.
“It is a nice break from the business of the castle isn’t it? Very tranquil.” He glanced back out of the window once again. Almost becoming entranced by the sunlight dancing across the landscape below. He snapped back to attention realising he was neglecting Rieko. Blake smiled at her and then took a swig of his butterbeer. “Ah ‘tis tasty stuff that!” he added as he placed the bottle back upon the table.

"The windswept looks alright on some people" Rieko laughed as another gust of wind encircled the two of them, causing her hair to dance lightly around her. She moved her hands and tucked it behid her ears, thinking next time she came here she would put it in a bobble. She looked at Blake, and flattened one piece of hair sticking out behind his ear at an odd angle, "Now it looks better"
She could still see that old witch looking at her, and a slow flush crept on Rieko's face as she kept staring awkwardly down at her butterbeer. "I didnt even know i could flush!" The young girl thought wildly to herself. She chanced a look at the woman who gave her a broad grin, which made her flushing go even worse and Rieko's mouth open in a small o shape. She gave her pleading eyes as if to say stop watching! Your making me nervous. "No, I dont suppose it does" She answered, "But I am used to girls being like that with me. Seriously though, I dont think I've ever met a girl who hasn't given me a dirty look"
"Well those variances can be percieved as clashing, can they not?" She asked as she listened to him continue, "Well im glad to hear that you have nothing against them. I dont think my furry friend would like to hear that you do, but as i said once, the other side of her is much cuter" She winked, nobody would be able to tell it was Rieko herself these two were talking about and that was the way Rieko liked it. She didnt want to be caught by the ministry, she had broken more or less every rule! "I love Quidditch" She told him, "However I did not try out for the house team, I do not like putting myself out there really. I play all the time back home with Max... Before him and Mark fell out, Mark and his sisters would join in too.." Rieko thought about Mark and a saddened expression came across her face. Rieko and Mark were always close and now she thought because of her cousins stupidity, she would likely never speak to him again. "Damn Maxwell" she mumbled.
"Yes it is" She said and looked out of the window, "Very tranquil, one could almost get lost in their thoughts here" she smiled as she looked back down at the butterbeer infront of her. She hadnt drank any, instead she just swished it around in the glass, "Yeah it is nice"

“Indeed it does!” Blake said as he smiled at her. Watching her hair float lightly in the airs current. And could not hid a smile as she attempted to flatten his hair, “I wish you luck with that Rieko. It’ll be a mess as usual in a few minutes i’m sure. But thank you. A woman’s touch always helps!” Blake laughed.
Blake found that he had to refrain from laughing once again. As Rieko’s uncomfortableness grew, she slowly became yet redder in the face. It was really somewhat puzzling as to why she was acting in such a way. But he did not wish to ask, because it would probably only enhance her embarrassment. “Oh really? Has it ever occurred to you that they find you as a threat? I mean there are few prettier than yourself. Perhaps that is why?” This statement made Blake wonder, whether she would catch the sincerity in his smile and voice, after she had found that as an issue when discussing why he had wronged Abi so.
Blake chuckled, “Why yesh, I suppose they can. However it is a slightly more interesting and yet forgiving way to phrase it, do you not think?” With a smile spreading across his face he replied. “I do concur, and I have learnt it best to please your friend, I find I do have a wish to keep my limbs after all!”
Blake enjoyed seeing her eyes light up slightly as she discussed her love for quidditch. “Perhaps you could still try out? I’m sure there is always more room for skilful and eager quidditch players such as yourself.” However he was somewhat intrigued as to why her expression had suddenly saddened at the mention of this Mark person. Blake found he did not know what to do. He could hardly just smile at her sympathetically. So instead he took up his drink, and downed some of its contents.
“It is indeed, some would say almost overbearingly beautiful.” However as he stated this he was not staring out of the window. Simply watching Rieko swirl her drink and smiling.

"I'll have it tamed in no time" She laughed sticking her tongue out at him. Her hair had settled down, however was probably in need of a very good brushing now, who knows how many knots the wind had put in it. She put a hand to her own hair and tried to flatten it down a bit, though another gut of wind saw to it that her efforts were in vain, "I think this wind hates us"
Rieko knew Blake had spotted her uncomfortable-ness. Though thanked him silently for not saying a word, the witch beside them opened her mouth once more, "Are you alright dear?" Rieko looked at her and shook her head with a smile, "Yes, yes i'm fine, honestly... Just a little warm" She ran her hands down her face as though hoping for the flushing to vanish, only it didnt. "A threat? Why? Because I may bite their fingers off?" She laughed, though Blake had already answered the question by telling her few were prettier. A seed of doubt crept into her mind as he said this, because of what he had said to Abi before, but hearing the sincerity in his voice, she looked at him and saw his smile and knew he meant it. She smiled back and looked quickly back down at the table "Yeah" She said sarcastically. She sighed and looked back out of the window with a smile.
"Well that is good to hear, because my friend is not one you would like to annoy, you might just lose more than your limbs if you do" She winked at Blake, swishing her butterbeer around in the glass once more, "But yes, I do think it a more forgiving way to phrase it"
"No, I dont think so" She smiled, "I dont think I'd want to make a career out of playing quidditch to be quite honest with you" She smiled, "Of course i'd get to play with a bunch of amazing buff guys in.. oh so tight pants and..." She feigned drifting off before laughing, "You see, I'd float and just watch them instead of actually playing, not that there is much talent in this school, they're either gay or taken" She looked at him and saw that he noticed she went quiet. "Mark Alméida, Maxi's best friend, also someone I was close to, I could talk to him about anything he was like the brother mine never were. He always looked out for me" She laughed, "I had a soft spot for him... When i was like twelve" she laughed again, "Quickly got myself out of that phase before Max found out"
When he said that, Rieko looked up and found his gaze on her. "You talking about which view Blake" She teased as she locked her gaze with his.
