(Tryouts are still open I hope)
Felicity stumbled outside, quickly dragging on her gloves and pulling her hair back. I am going to be so late. Ug! Stupid, stupid, stupid! She raced toward the Quiddicth field, her Firebolt clutched in her hand. Today were the tryouts for the team and -of course- Felicity had overslept.
Fay almost ran into Ashton as she tried to quickly stop. "Are the tryouts still going on?" She managed to get out between gasping for air. After she had managed to finally regain her breath, she straightened up. "I was hoping I could try out for beater." Felicity glanced up, noticing two people already on the field. She cursed herself, once more, inside her head.

Ashton looked towards the new girl. "Beater? All right, get on up there, let's see what you got." he said handing her a bat. Ash bent down and opened the trunk, he unhooked a straining bludger from it's restraints, the ball shot up, then zoomed straight toward the new girl.

Felicity grinned and grabbed the bat. She mounted her broom and pushed off, soaring into the air like the others. Fay clutched her bat tightly as she noticed the bludger out of the corner of her eye. Quickly, she swung the bat around and smacked the bludger, sending it flying in the other direction of the two playing. Fay rose up a bit, so she could get a better view of both of the two playing currently. She kept an eye out for the bludger, making sure it wouldn't come close to the two.

Candy had been watching Lexi playing she was really good. Candy saw a girl that wanted to try out for the position of beater, she gave a smal smile as the girl swung the bat sending the bludger far. " Impressive" Candy murmmered with a little nod, as she played with the charm bracelet that was in her broom Candy payed closed attention to the tryouts.

Ashton nodded at all the players. "Alright, you all did a great job. So, I think we've got ourselves a Keeper, a Chaser, and two Beaters."

Bray snapped out of his focus when he noticed a bludger zoom past them. What? When he looked he saw Fay had decided to show up for her tryout. He smirked at her, she was pretty strong. Guess she's not the dainty veela that she looks like. He flew down a bit so he could hear Ash better and grinned.
They all made it. What a good team they'd be. "And don't forget you, our seeker. Now what, we need a couple more chasers?" He added when he landed on the ground. Ah well, he tied with Lexi; at least he didn't lose.

Felicity grinned and shot a hand in the air. She noticed the bludger coming back around. Fay used her beater to smack it to the ground. It hit the ground -rather roughly- and Felicity dived after it. She landed quickly and wrapped her arms around the bludger, making sure it wouldn't fly off anywhere else.
"Well, yay for making the team. But can anyone help me put this back?" The bludger squirmed and vibrated in her grasp. She grinned at the group, tightening her grip.

Ash laughed at Bray's seeker comment. "Of course, how could I forget that? Most people would say that a Seeker is the most important member of the team. But I say, a team's a team. No one member is more important than the others." He looked around at the team. "Alright, so we need two more Chasers, and I think we'll all be ready." Hearing Felicity's request, he turned towards her. "Sure." Pulling out his wand, he accioed the bludger towards him, then levitating it, guided it back to the case, and quickly restrained before it had the chance to hit him or any of his team in the face. Or any other part of their body for that matter.

*Yes* she thought to herself as she heard Ashton yell that they'd done a good job. She had her A game on and it showed, granted her teammate did keep her on her toes so much so that it was thanks to him she played so well. Alexis made the team again and she was ecstatic. Landing back down on the ground, she smiled so wide that her face began to hurt in mere seconds, but that didn't stop her. She would be playing again for her house team a position she was desperate to have again.
"Thanks Ashton" she called as she touched down on the ground and dismounted. Then to Bradyn she said "you're amazing, gave me a run for my money that's for sure. I think a thanks is in order there, so thanks we made each other look very good" she winked and smiled at him.

Bradyn laughed a bit. "Oi Ash, don't let that get to your head. Everyone's needed for anything to happen in the game." He left Ashton take care of the bludger and looked back up at the goal posts to see Heart making her return finally, as if it just hit her that she made it. When Lexi finally landed he went over next to her and clapped her gently on the back.
"Yeah, but you would've been crushed if we played for a little longer, Heart!" He scoffed, but could barely keep a serious face and ended up laughing. "Thanks, though. I probably wouldn't have played half as well as I did if I didn't have such a fierce Chaser." After that he went and sat on the sidelines near the box of balls. He thought over the people he usually saw in the common room and wondered if any of the bookworms were interested in filling their voided spots.

Ashton stared at Bray like he'd suddenly grown three extra heads. "Dude, what is wrong with your hearing? I just said that a team functions as one, and that no one member is more important than the others!" Ash grinned. "Okay, now that that's aside, it looks like all we need are two more Chasers and we've got ourselves a team!"

Okay guys, since no one seems to be posting, I'm going to go ahead and close this thread up. I'll schedule some team practices, and anyone who wants to join the team, just come to a practice and I'll give you a tryout, or PM me, and I'll still give you a tryout. Peace out guys!
