Erika watched Richard fly towards her. She knew that he was hoping that she would move before he reached him. So of course, she did the exact opposite. She stayed right were she was. "Why Mr. Leons, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were stalking me!" she teased.

Richard seemed to have been expecting too much from Erika, she took joy in teasing him and most of the time he did not find it at all annoying or worrisome, but this time she was not moving. Panicking Richard pulled the broom to a stop surprised at how tiresome and difficult it was, which as a result made him worry that he would not stop in time and crash into Erika endangering both of them. However his panic was not necessarily needed as he soon found that brooms could easily stop and so ended up a few meters away from his intended target.
“Stalk you? Why would I need to do that all I need to do is turn my back and you would come running.”
Richard never saw himself as one that girls fell for and he never had this false confidence that he was but being with Erika gave Richard that confidence to act like someone that was not truly him.

Erika scoffed, "Oh please Richard. What do you think I am? desperate?" She flashed a flirty grin. "Besides, you know you can't resist me."

Richard could not help but burst out into hysterics. He did not mean to laugh, he thought himself wise enough not to laugh in the face of Erika but here he was laughing at the fact she thought he sound her irresistible. The problem was there was a bit of truth in the words she spoke, he could not take his eyes off her and that was proving a slight problem when trying to convince himself that he did not and would not fall for anyone at such a fast rate.
“Please! Your feminine qualities stopped working on me back in the library. If anything you are the one who wants me, come on you kissed me!”
Richard was telling himself to be careful, it was a dangerous game he was playing, not only was he seemingly thinking to much of himself but also he was reversing whatever Erika said and he still felt she could snap at any moment and with those sharp fangs plunge them into his neck.

Erika merely smiled. "You know you enjoyed it Mr. Leons, otherwise you would've told me no."

“You did not give me time to enjoy it!” Richard explained throwing his hands up in the air suddenly feeling increasingly irritated by the way this argument was going. “Neither did you give me time to say no.” He did not know why such a small thing was bothering him and he should really just get on with flying around the Quidditch pitch and having a good time. But instead he wanted to fight his corner, he wanted to win this argument almost to show Erika what he was made of, that he was not just some Ravenclaw who she happened to stumble across in the library and was to scared of her being a vampire to stand up for himself.
He had already concurred one fear today, he was flying, hundreds of meters above the ground and it filled him with adrenaline, the feeling that he could do anything and nothing would stop him. So Richard was going to try something he had seen so many others do, he was unsure of his feelings towards Erika after all he had only known her for a couple of hours, but for some people that was enough for a small fling to start.
Hovering over towards her a timid smile filled his face and he looked directly into her amber eyes. Reaching out he stroked the side of her face noticing that her skin was as soft as it looked and then slowly and softly he spoke to her.
“If you had done this then I would have had time to say no.”
Leaning forward Richard’s lips met hers, taking in the taste of her sweet lips Richard ran a hand through her hair and started to kiss her more passionately, he was expecting her to push him away just to prove she was stronger but deep inside he willed her to do nothing so that this moment could last longer.

Erika had no time to react as Richard's lips connected with her own. She gave small gasp of surprise, then slowly began to relax. Reaching up, she twined her fingers in his hair. He began to kiss her harder, and with more passion. She responded the same way, her breathing was becoming ragged. Finally she pulled back, and uttered a single word. "Woah."

Erika pulled away from the kiss and Rich was thankful as he was unsure how long he would have been able to keep that up, he needed to breath properly and he feared that is she pulled on him any tighter he would fall off his broom altogether. However he was reassured at how successful the kiss was when he left her speechless. Tidying up his hair and positioning himself back correctly on his broom Richard grinned at Erika.
“Now if you had kissed me like that I would have had time to say no.”
Shooting her a wink and a cheeky grin Rich was off on his broom, letting the wind whistle past his ears again and mess up his hair. He did not want to look over his shoulder back at Erika but something compelled him too.

Erika grinned, and instead of following him, decided to head back down to the ground. "Well, I'm headed back down to earth." she called towards him. "Care tol join me? Or are you gonna stay up here?"

Richard was starting to really get the hand of flying, he found broom control a lot easier then he thought it would be and his fear of plunging to his death had passed quite early on in fact it now did not seem to bother him that one slip and he would be on the ground faster then anything with a broken back. He also loved the sensation of the wind running through his hair, the sound of the world rushing passed his ears Richard was slowly starting to work out what the whole type was about flying in the first place.
But it seemed that Erika had other ideas and other things on her mind and in the distance Richard heard her harmonious voice in the wind and with a grin he spun his broom around so he could look upon the small dot in the distance which he guessed was the Gryffindor.
“You’re heading back already? Was it that easy to defeat you? I at least expected a better challenge from you, I am most disappointed.”

Erika laughed. "What can I say? The mind of a vampire is an unpredictable thing. Never know what we might do next! Now are you coming or not?"

Richard leaned on his broom and looked down so he could get a better look at Erika and she slowly made her way down to the ground. It reminded him of a leaf caught in the wind, slowly turning one direction to the other enjoying the fall. Although when she mentioned the unpredictability of a vampires nature he could not help but smile, but unconsciously his shoulders moved upward so his neck was covered by his robes.
“Unpredictability is a common trait in many, the inability to make a decision and the want to act on a spur of the moment.”
‘A lot like this’ he told himself as he straightened himself up on his broom and slowly descended from the sky to catch up with Erika. The ground slowly got closer and closer and the amount of wind decreased as they were soon protected by the high stands that lined the pitch. Though the ground was right underneath him Richard still refused to let his feet touch the floor, and he hovered in the air grinning at the beautiful Gryffindor in front of him.

Erika smirked. "Some people may appear to be unpredictable, but I truly am unpredictable." she replied. She watched as he hovered in frot of her. "You comin down? Or would you rather stay up there?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

Richard continued to hover above the ground a smile on his face and his shoes just skimming the top of the long strands of grass. But as Erika ordered for him to come down he gave a small laugh and just to tease her he floated a little further off the ground, staring down at her from above.
“I will come down…if there is something in it for me? If you are just going to tease me some more I might as well fly back up into the sky and forget all about you.”
He knew that would be difficult, not only because he would start to feel the guilt of abandoning someone but also after meting someone with such a personality as Erika you do not tend to forget them that quickly.

Erika merely smiled, and replied mysteriously. "Of course there's something in it for you. Why wouldn't there be?" with this comment, she stood, and gracefully walked or glided rather, over to a shady area of the pitch. She glanced back once at Richard and winked, giving him a look as if to say 'You know you can't resist me, so why bother trying?'
