Isis didn't care much about she just had been giving, because it didn't have a clear meaning which was pretty logical as she didn't show her inner old Isis to the world and in this lesson. She stood up and trembled the sand off her robe and shook her head heavily to undo her long hair from the sand. Isis rushed to the group as she saw that she had fallen behind.

Echo had left her dorm with plenty of time to make it to class, if she ran. But never having been one to throng for a teacher's approval or impress her fellow students by flinging herself through a door at ninety miles an hour, she merely walked from Gryffindor Tower all the way down the stairs to the new Mythology classroom.
She opens the door and, despite herself, is mildly impressed with the charms placed to make the entirety of the inside of the room disappear and be replaced with a more-or-less authentic Egyptian desert. 'Olman at least gets points for going all out on her first class...' thinks Echo as she scuffs her shoes into the sand at her feet. Shrugging, she jogs her way across to the actual class a few feet away, though growing smaller as they head towards the Pyramids. When she finally catches up a microscopic smirk graces her lips; she sees an all too familiar Gryffindor buddy of hers, hanging off another semi-familiar house mate. She makes her way through the cluster of students to stand on Noah's free side and, none too gently, side bumps him into his walking partner.
"Oops." she says emotionlessly. She doesn't see any use in holding onto emotions in most classes. Especially this one; she knows coming in late will lose her house points, so good behavior and enthusiasm really aren't worth the effort.

Alice had been in awe of everything around her she had zoned out of the lesson, even when people where talking to her she heeded no attention. Instead she just looked at everything that was in the ‘classroom’, the feeling of the sand, the smell’s of the town, the warmth of the air and the amazing view in the distance. When Dax had told her stories about how thrilling the lessons were at Hogwarts she would never have imagined them to be anything like this.
It was only when she heard the Professor give them all names that she zoned back into the room. At hers being ‘Bahiti’ she gave a small giggle thinking it would be funny to have people call her that all lesson, it sounded such an exotic name and here she was, a small cockney who sounded like she should be on some British muggle soap then in Egypt.
Looking and listening to what everyone else in the class had to say Alice just carried on giggling to herself as she followed the Professor, her mind spinning at all the possibilities of what they could be doing that lesson.

Playfully punching him in the arm while looking down at her nametag she got one last word in before he fluttered off to the back of the crowd. "Well if thats the case then shouldn't your name be the Egyptian word for 'bigheaded'?" She stuck her tongue out at him and then he slowed, drifting through the crowd of females--no males in the class besides them, unless she saw wrong--and during this time Willa took the opportunity to hustle and walk with Brooke. "Ah, how modest our house is." She laughed a little, feeling ridiculous and completely awesome with the hat on. In fact she hoped the Professor might let her keep it, if not to remember the momentous, hilarious occasion along with the snapshots she had lying on her bed. Taking the time to glance down at her nametag again, Willa tilted her head to the side. Goodness. That was quite the general description, made her wonder what point the teacher was getting at. Goodness as in.. Funny? Or nice? Hm, quite the brain teaser. Tripping as she looked back up but catching herself before she fell (by grabbing Brooke's arm of course) the Gryffindor flashed her an apologetic look. "It was Noah. Yeah, he tripped me." She grinned, though everyone knew it was her and her clumsiness. Seeing Echo arrive and bump into Noah--she wasn't walking with him anymore, you see, he drifted back to find Echo--the Gryffindor gave a friendly wave to her housemate.[/ul]

Noah was too busy smirking at Willa's latest comments to notice Echo's entrance, and so the violent bump to his side sent him into the innocent Alice Simmons who was quite a few feet away. He laughed shortly, tilting his head at Echo and shaking it. Then, he looked at Alice next to him and offered her a bright smile.
"Sorry, Alice," He squeezed the Hufflepuff against his side apologetically, before letting her go. She seemed fairly independent and he smiled crookedly, knowing her timid nature would forgive him easily even though his tall figure knocking into couldn't have been pleasant.
Looking back to Echo, Noah sighed exaggeratedly. "You missed acquiring descriptive Egyptian names and Pharaoh hats. I quite enjoy both mine." As an afterthought he grinned devilishly. "But perhaps you don't want to know what words describe you, Keir. It's all for the best in the end."

Alexis had been so in awe of everything going on around her that she had barely heard what Sarie said though she gave the impression that she had been all ears. Staring around the desert looking non classroom classroom Alexis jumped at a sudden noise, which quickly brought her out of her stupor. Someone had made quite the entrance. Alexis simply stared not really saying much of anything. Her curiosity had piqued and she wanted to know what they were going to be doing. This by far had been the most interesting class she had ever set foot in thought she sort of felt out of place for some odd reason.
She was still thinking things through when the professor had begun talking wanting to give them Egyptian names or what have you. Alexis hadn't been paying much mind and somehow managed not to get one. It didn't much matter though since they were about to walk into the Pyramids. Maybe now she'd get to feel like she was having some fun. Getting up and wiping her pants she followed everyone else.

Echo nods to the Gryffindor who had moved a few feet up ahead shortly before her entrance. She tilts her head and muses to herself 'Do I know her... Eh, if not maybe I'll get to know her later...' she shrugs, not really expecting anything to come of it, then turns her attention back to Noah.
"But perhaps you don't want to know what words describe you, Keir. It's all for the best in the end." She rolls her eyes boredly, "My sweet, Mr. Yves," she says beratingly, "the only problem with your assumption is that those hats look ridiculous, and I would be more than pleased to hear what words describe me... except there are none," she shrugs. "Such a disappointment."
She keeps walking with the group towards the pyramids, though after ten minutes more the heat starts getting to her. A pair of sweat beads begin to drip down the back of her neck and she, irritatedly, wishes she had one of the ridiculous looking hats to keep the sun beams off of her... in the classroom in the middle of Hogwarts castle. 'Stupid freaking realistic spellwork...' she grumbles in her head. "How much longer?" she questions, gently nudging Noah in the ribs as she whines.

Noah caught Echo's hand as she nudged him, his cool thumb brushing the damp pads of her fingers. He grinned as they walked, letting go of her hand soon after but not before pulling her closer and linking an arm around her waist. "A bit warm, Echo? Not because of me, I hope." His smile grew slanted as he peered over the heads of their class.
"I would guess we're fairly close. But really, Miss. Keir. The rumors all say you have better stamina." Noah turned to Alice, remembering to be appropriate.
"Anyway," He couldn't help himself as he laughed brightly. "I can think of a number of words to describe you. But I'm too much of a gentlemen to repeat them all."

Brooke had seemingly zoned out while the rest of the class chatted away. Grabbing hold of the hat thrown at her she pushed it forcefully onto her head, not entirely happy about it being so, well, ugly to be quite frank. As she carried on staring blankly at the sand she began to envision what she would be like if she was a Lionness...and after much deliberation, she knew she'd be just the same but just without the ability to talk.
As she began to visualise herself pinning down a slytherin with one mighty paw, the pressure of pressing down on the snakes chest making her claw spread wide she smirked to herself as they struggled beneath her weight giving a cat like growl as a laugh before hearing Noah's voice and breaking her from her thoughts. Flicking her head round to him catching the last thing she said, she snorted in laughter slightly and slapped him playfully on the arm. "Your a hoot, ya know that Noah?" she snickered as she walked in front of the pair.
"I think you've forgotten where we are, you numbnuts!" she continued to laugh, getting more hysterical by the moment at his silly form of wit. As she fought through the sand with her feet, it felt an awful lot like quicksand as every step she took made her sink an inch or two into the hot sand.

Echo leans on Noah, glad for the extra assistance to stand straight, and amused by Noah's ego trip. "Noah, darling, you're just too cool to get me hot..." she nods at all the girls in the class making eyes at her companion. It is not one of her better comebacks, granted, but she is a bit addled by the heat.
She rests her head against Noah's chest as they walk and she giggles, "Oh the rumours of my stamina are only half true... but even then, I'm usually not so...encumbered," she shakes the sand of the hem of her robes--to no avail once they touch the desert floor again--and loosens her suffocating red and gold striped tie. "Your words wouldn't be near descriptive enough anyways. Besides, we both know that if the lot of people you hang out with have said it, they're obviously second or third-hand stories." She pops her neck and walks with perfect posture from then on forward--though not pulling away from Noah's welcomed assistance...as back up. "Nope, I would only trust you and Narcissus to come up with a realistic first-hand description of me."
A look of confusion crosses her face, 'Wow, the heat really is getting to me when I'm actually full-out honest with someone… and Noah no less!'

After about ten minutes of crossing the desert, the class finally reached their destination; the great pyramid. "Now class, I need to remind you that these are the real things, not mere imitations. So, don't go sticking your hands where they don't belong or taking any relics or anything of the like. If you do, I have enchanted the area to inform me if and who does it. It's only for your protection, seeing as all of the ancient tombs were protected with curses and hexes that caused death to anyone who attempted to steal such items." The professor nodded with a smile while turning her back to the class and removing the hidden door on the side of the pyramid.
""And don't you guys worry, you will be getting souvenirs at the end of the class." She added in when fully removing the sandstone block that was hindering their advancement. "Now, if you could all please step inside, one by one in single file! And to the last one in, please close the door when you're in." Rayna directed as she leaned down and crawled through the small entrance.
Once a few feet into the small corridor of the pyramid, she turned back to the door, watching to make sure the students made their way in without hurting themselves. It was a bit tricky.

"Look!" Noah's free arm gestured toward the oncoming pyramids. "Your stamina is clearly satisfying enough; we're here." He grinned at Echo, untangling his arm from around her waist and shielding his eyes against the sun.
After blinking away his momentarily blindness, Noah walked over to the hidden opening. The Professor's warning was not lost to him, yet locking mischievous eyes with Echo, he was not overtly cautious entering the Pyramid.
Ushering his companion in first, Noah smirked deviously to himself as he dropped onto all fours behind her. Close enough to Echo that his palms were beside her ankles as they crawled, Noah breathed a laugh. "You look quite natural on your knees - I'm starting to think some of those rumors are valid."
Noah could see Olman watching them from already snug inside, and soon he was staggering into the Pyramid. After entering, he settled beside Brooke and brushed the sand off her sleeve. "I wonder what kind of trouble we'll get into here." He grinned elusively, feeling Echo's presence beside him.

Struggling to fit into the small tomb entrance, Polaris whimpered after she knocked her head on the bottom of a sandstone block. Rubbing it with her free hand, the other guiding her by the wall, the Ravenclaw soon settled into a somewhat cramped passage way.
"I wonder what kind of trouble we'll get into here."
Polaris caught the tail end of Noah's words and gave him a light 'bop' on the head for it. "None! Lest you wish to be put under the Pharaohs curse!" She replied, the slim beams of light filtering through the cracks of the sandstone blocks exaggerating her wolifsh qualities as she lifted her hands and wiggled her fingers at him ominously. "OooOooOoo.."
Not being able to hold her face straight, she began to laugh softly at herself. Boy, she should be such a dolt at times. Polaris then rubbed at her forehead where she had previously bonked it and gave a slight pout. That'll hurt in the morning.
After a few minutes she had settled down a bit comfortably in the cold and dark corridor, waiting for the teacher's next set of instructions.

Sarie sighed and entered the room. These where the kind of places she try to avoid. She always since ghost even when she was little. So hoped nothing happened when she was here she would never know what was going to show itself.

Echo grins mildly when they reach the pyramids. At the professors warning it's almost unnecessary to look at Noah to know exactly what's going to happen over the course of the next… well, however much time passes in these classes. It's almost impossible to tell. 'With this heat I could use a sundial to figure it out,' she thinks, her thoughts still vague and random and addled from the long walk, 'but that would do me no good once we're inside the pyramids. Maybe I could… build an hour glass! There's certainly enough sand!'
Echo curtsies prettily when Noah gestures for her to head through the tunnel first, "What a gentleman. Who'd have known?" she teases before gathering up her robes and crawling into the ancient tube.
"You look quite natural on your knees - I'm starting to think some of those rumors are valid." She rolls her eyes wearily. "You'll never know, Yves. But you can keep that lovely thought to put you to bed tonight," her voice is thick with tired sarcasm. In her weariness, Echo somehow manages to scrape her shoulder on a sharp rock protruding from the tomb's entrance. "Bloody…" she curses, unawares at how ironic that choice of word is. A two inch gash is the result.
When she exits the tunnel she quickly tears off the remnant of her sleeve, rips it in half, and immediately turns one of the strips into a tourniquet. The other half she makes Noah help her bandage the wound with. With her many… odd pass-times, Noah's had practice bandaging gashes and slashes and cuts for her, and in this class, he's the only person she trusts to not accidentally cut off all circulation to her arm, or mistakenly remove all the bones. "Thanks…" she says gruffly, then looks around.
"I wonder what kind of trouble we'll get into here." She snickers when a fellow injury-farer joins in their conversation; a Ravenclaw girl, with striking bi-colored eyes. "Of course not! Me, oh, my… we'd never do a thing like that!" she looks aghast and horrified… then leans in towards the Ravenclaw, "That is, unless, of course, you'd like to help us pull it off?" she pulls away almost immediately and stares innocently at the ceiling, as if the hieroglyphs around the top edge of the wall are the most fascinating things she'a ever seen.
