Scott looked at her and laughed, "Ok, I haven't really told anyone but," he took a deep breath, "I'm adopted. I'm not really a Brooks. Trust me, being a Brooks is a big deal where I'm from," he said with a slight laugh. "But I do know my birth parents. I got to meet them once, they're nice folks," he said with a smile.
He looked at her and shook his head, "Trust me, if you turned your charm on me, it wouldn't be the first time. I have two veela sisters, they torture me with it," He laughed, "I've also seen the nasty sides of Veela's as well, I can hadle it. That's why I said you'd probably think my mother was crazy. One day, my father got my mom so mad she turned into that half bird thing and threw a fire ball at him. Nearly killed him but it taught us all a lesson. You never, never mess with a hormonal woman," he leaned in a little closer, "She was pregnant with Izzy at the time," he said laughing.
Scott leaned in a little closer, "There's something else too," he said gazing into her eyes. Without warning and without saying anything, Scott's lips were suddenly pressed against hers.

Felicity blinked, then grinned. "Adopted? I thought it was going to be something horrid like, you killed a man or something. Killed a man and stashed his body in the forest." She laughed.
"Yes, well, hormonal girls are bad enough. But, hormonal veelas are the worst." Fay shook her head in mock horror. "Once, my mom got so mad at my dad in the middle of the street than more than half of our guy neighbors were ready to pound him into the ground. Fun day in the Locke household." She grinned and laughed.
"Hmm?" She blinked when he didn't say anything. Fay was about to comment, but he suddenly kissed her. Her eyes widened. Her clench fist relaxed after a moment.

Scott pulled back and laughed, "No, I've never killed anyone. My father just thought it right to have a male heir when he dies, therefore, they adopted moi."
He sighed deeply and picked up a leaf off the forest floor. He began ripping it up slowly. "I'm sorry," he said glancing at her, "for kissing you," he said with a mischievous grin, "again."

Felicity touched her lips lightly, still slightly shocked. Her blush returned full force, and she was so glad they were concealed in the forest. "S'alright." Fay murmured, giving him a small grin.
She couldn't seem to speak, all of her words scattered from her mind. Yea, great place to forget what to say. Fay just settled with ducking her head under the crook of his arm and shifting to sit next to him.

Scott laughed, "Well, hello," he said to her as he shifted his arm. He hugged his jacket around her a little tighter and rubbed her shoulder for a moment, "Are you still cold?" he asked.
Scott stayed silent for a while. He listened to Fay breathe, the wind howl, and the numerous creatures of the forest stur. He just hoped nothing came and attacked them.

Felicity grinned. "Shush, I'm cold." She rested her head on his side and seemed perfectly content. Fay's hair fell into her face as another breeze blew by.
She looked back up at the sky and sighed lightly. "We should probably go in before someone catches us." But for the life of her, Fay didn't want to get up.

Scott looked down at Fay and gave a goofy grin. He placed the loose strands of hair behind her ear. "We should probably get you inside anyway. We don't want you getting sick," he said hugging her. "You ready to go in?" he asked.

Felicity stuck her tongue out at him and laughed. "Oh shush, I don't get sick that easily." She fell silent again and tugged at the jacket sleeve. They probably should leave, and get back to the dorms to get some sleep. But Fay didn't have any classes the next day, so a little sleep deprivsion wouldn't hurt her that bad.
"We probably should go in. What that doesn't mean I want to."

Scott laughed, "Alright, I didn't know. My sister Izzy gets sick very easily so I tend to be a little more careful when it comes to the health of others," he explained. Scott hugged her closer to him hoping it would warm her up a little more. "If you don't want to go in, that's all you have to say," he said with an undertanding smile, "We can sit here for as long as you want."

Felicity grinned and snuggled closer to him. "Sounds like a plan to me." She didn't feel like moving right now, when the night was so nice. Except for the cold breeze, but she had Scott to warm her up. She tilted her head back again so she could look up at the moon.
Something hit her though, as she was lost in her thoughts. When would they see each other again? Felicity saw her friends all the time, but they were either in the same house, or same year, or both. She bit her lower lip and looked back down at her hands. It's not like they could just go meet in the forest whenever they wanted. Hogsmeade maybe? No, then her mother would probably see her and fawn over Scott like she had done to all of Fay's other friends.

Scott felt Fay tense up a little more so he glanced down at her. He kissed the top of her head lightly then began to speak, "What's on your mind, Fay? It doesn't look too good," he said, worry in his voice. "Do you want to talk about it? If not, that's alright," he said.
Scott leaned his head back against the tree and looked up at the moon. Something wasn't right, and he could sense it, but he didn't want to push her to talk to him. If it was important, she'd eventually talk, even if it wasn't to him. Scott sighed and ran a shaky hand through his hair. He took a deep breath and held it in; he eventually exhaled.

Felicity sighed and hugged her knees to her chest. "When are we going to see each other again? You probably have classes when I'm free, or visa versa." She sighed and rested her chin on her knees. "And it's not like we can sneak out to the forest. Bradyn would most likely skin me for that. Ash too." Fay glanced over to him, then looked back out at the forest. "And Hogsmeade is out of the question because my mother might follow." She rolled her eyes.

Scott laughed, "I'm sure we do have classes together and who's to say that your mother will follow us in Hogsmeade. If you want to see me again, I can promise you that we will find the time and a place, alright?" he said, reassuring Fay. Scott understood that this was probably a really good question but he would do anything if she did want to see him again. He was sure they had some classes together as well. Even if they weren't in the same house, he knew they could think of something.
Scott really liked Fay and he didn't want this to be the only time he'd be with her. He sighed and looked at her again, "I promise you, we will see each other again."

Felicity grinned slightly as he spoke again. She had been afraid he didn't want to see her anymore, at least that wasn't true. "Alright. Maybe we can try sometime this weekend." Fay pushed some hair from her eyes. "I don't have any classes on weekends, and Fridays I only have, two I think." Hence why Fay was out here tonight. Today was just a Friday, so she had been wandering around the school for a while.
"I'll hold you to that promise."

Scott smiled, "I can work around that," he said referring to her schedule. When she spoke about doing something this weekend he laughed, "Alright, sounds like a date. What do you wanna do? Would you like it to be just the two of us or would you like to invite some friends?" he asked.
