Alyson Gravestone, more commonly known as Aly, sighed as she sat down by the lake. It had been a long, boring week, and no doubt it would be a long, boring weekend. "Ugh, I need something to do!" she grumbled as she flopped back onto the grass, her blond curls fanning out behind her, and her blue-green eyes closed against the brightness of the sun as it's rays warmed her alabaster skin.

Rakki hummed a little tune as she headed for the lake. It had been an uneventful week and for her, it was bliss. She happily trotted down her well worn path to the area of the lake she loved. As she approached the lake, she saw her sister sprawled out. Rolling her eyes and smiled softly. Shifting the bag on her shoulder, Rakki took her sweet time getting over to the tree nearest her sister. "Hey, sis." She said as she grabbed the trunk and began climbing her way up the tree.

Aly's face instantly brightened as she heard the voice of her little sister and best friend, Rakki. "Hey Rakki. Haven't seen you around lately." Climbing to her feet, Aly brushed the dirt off her clothes and started up the tree after her sister. "Hey, wait for me."

Sarie was walking around the lake. She saw two Slytherins talking. She didnt want to get them mad, she was walked them she gave a firendly smile. All the house needed to get along. If Gryffindors and Slytherins got along better then school would be so hard for every one. Sarie was rather afirad of them. The last Slytherin she met had hex her from behind.

Aly noticed a young Gryffindor walking below and smiled down at her. "Hi there. Nice day isn't it?"

Sarie jumped slightly. "Yeah it is." She looked up at her. "I'm I'm Sarie. It’s its nice to meet you." She stuttered at the older girl. Sarie was rather worried. The girl seemed friendly. But she really didn’t want to get hexed again.

Aly laughed. "Pleased to meet you Sarie. I'm Alyson Gravestone, but please call me Aly. And don't worry, we don't plan on hexing you as soon as you turn your back!"

Sarie felt herself blush. “Nice to meet you Aly.” She said. Sarie really didn’t know what to say. “What year are you in?” She asked shyly. She looked around trying to find a good topic for some small talk but nothing came. She felt a little better know she could talk and not be hexed.

Aly smiled as she brushed her blond curls back from her face. "I'm a 7th year. You?"

"1st. " She smiled. "Who's that?" Sarie pointed a little higher in to the tree. She knew it was another Slytherin. She wanted to be friendly. She guessed Ian was right. It was easier to make friends with older students. She started playing with her hair. Trying to think of something else to say.

Aly smiled and stared off into the distance, reminscing about her first few years at school. Of course she had gone to Beauxbatons, she hadn't even come to Hogwarts until last year. Suddenly she was snapped back into reality when Sarie asked her another question. "Her?" she asked, gesturing towards Rakki, "Oh that's my sister Rakki."

"Ohh, you do look a like. You're both really pretty." She waved at Rakki. She looked back at Aly. "What were you looking at?"

Aly smiled. "Thanks. It's kinda odd, because Rakki takes after our dad in looks, yet I take after him in personality! And I take after our mom in looks, whereas Rakki takes after her in personality. So it's kinda flipped around!" She shrugged, "Nothing really. I was just thinking."

"Oh," Sarie knew stuff like those happened in families. "Yeah that happens in families all the time. Two of my cousins are the same way.

Rakki got her self situated as high as she could go before taking her bag and hanging it on a branch nearby. Feeling accomplished, she smiled and looked down. Her smiled disappeared when she saw the Gryffindor. 'When'd she get here? Geeze, I really should start paying attention to my surroundings.' Rakki chuckled to herself then sprawled out on the branch, listening to the conversation below.
