Aly looked up and smiled at her sister. "Are you listening to our conversation?" she called, a little loudly seeing as Rakki was higher up in the tree than Aly was. Aly dangled her bag below the branch then gently dropped it to the ground where it landed with a dull thud. Turning around, she gripped the branches and shimied up the tree after her sister. "Why do you always like to go so high?" she grumbled teasingly when she reached her sister. She looked down at the Gryffindor. "Wanna come join us?" she called.

"I just tuned in to your conversation, actually." Rakki said as she closed her eyes. "And I like being so high up because when Amadeus climbs the tree I'm in, I get the satisfaction of being higher than him." Rakki smirked.

Aly rolled her eyes at her sister's answer. "I swear it's like a never-ending contest between you two." she muttered, "Always trying to outdo one another..."

"Sure." Sarie climbed up into the tree. She sat on the lowest branch not really want to go any higher. "So how many years a you two apart? If you don't mind me asking?"

"Um... about four I think." Rakki shurgged once again but couldn't help the smile. "I usually never pay attention to my age, it's a bit bothersome when I forget it, though." She sniggered at a memory during her second year.

Aly snickered. "You never pay attention to anything! That's why it takes you ages to answer the professors during class." she teased Rakki.

"Cool, I dont have any siblings?" She looked up at the sisters. She felt sad. Thinking of her family.

Aly smiled sympathetically at the young girl. "Yeah, siblings are pretty cool. It's nice to know that someone's always there."

Sarie nodded as she looked out over the lake. "I wish I had some one like that." She sighed. "You two are really nice I'm glad we met." She smiled.

Aly smiled, this girl was obviously lonely and was longing for some companionship and friendship. And that's exactly what Aly was going to give her. Gripping the branches, Aly made her way down to where Sarie was and slipping her arm around the girl's shoulder, pulled her into a gentle hug. "Well, now you have us Sarie, and we'll always be here for you. Don't ever forget or doubt that."

"Thanks." She started to blush. "It's soon nice out here." She thought about her family and how much they didnt like having her around. She remembered her dad telling her that not all people where like and he was right.

Aly chuckled as she swung her legs back and forth. "It sure is..." she murmured quietly. Her head was tilted back, ice- blue eyes closed, and the soft sunlight cast a golden glow on her pale face and blond hair. A small smile graced her features. "I love days like this." she whispered quietly, almost to herself.

Sarie nodded. "Yeah me too. Great fly weather. Also good for reading." She stared out again.

Aly nodded and smiled. "Yeah, it is a nice day." she sighed. "Too bad I have work to do!" she grumbled. "I'll probably do it later." she said with a shrug.

"Yeah." She looked over the lake. She loved this place and every one in it. "You getting NEWTs? If you are good luck." She smiled.
