It had been a little over a week for Will where he was back at Hogwarts. Coming back through the entrance brought back all the lost memories for him, and thinking that he had forgotten about the place. Simple things like the smell and the decor hadn’t changed, even after all those years that he hadn’t stepped foot in the castle grounds. Smiling to himself, which to everyone else probably made him look a little strange or demented, he pushed himself forward and straight through the castle, making his way onto the path of the Whomping Willow.
He remember the time he had gone there with the Hubbles boys and they had witnessed the tree freaking out much more than usual due to a bird that had gotten trapped inbetween it’s branches. It was a funny sight to behold when the tree flung itself left and right and caused such a ruckus that the boys couldn’t stop howling with laughter. Dumb tree, but poor bird.
Laughing as he remenisced on that day, he passed a twosome on the bridge who threw him a rather strange, wide-eyed look as he approached them. He just raised his eyebrows and carried on laughing and walking. Rubbing the back of his head to flatten down his hair, he approached the Whomping willow, but kept a safe enough distance from it. The question that he always asked when he was a student here popped back into his mind once again, ‘Why is there a violent tree here?’. He didn’t think anybody knew the answer, but nobody would be able to dig the tree up, that was a certainty.
Standing with one foot perched on a bump in the ground, and his hands thrust into his jeans pockets, Will just watched and observed the tree not sure why he really kept his eyes on it, but he did. Maybe he was hoping something funny would happen again like that day in his fourth year when he was an immature kid. Hell, it was still funny now, so maybe he was still a kid at heart. It still tickled him now.
His feet began to ache, so Will shifted his position and sat down on the bump where his foot just leant on. Legs apart, he rested his elbows on his thighs and cupped his hand over the other, so he could lean his chin on them. The tree shook, as if it was itching, or because it was cold. Either way, it was making it’s presence known, and letting Will know that it was indeed awake. Dumb tree.

It was safe to say that things were on the up for Professor Hubbles and as he strutted his way down the corridors of the castle humming himself a tune that he could not remember the name of he overheard the conversation of two female students in front of him talking about a dreamboat of a Professor. Dan was half expecting them to go on and mention his name and how they only go to charms lesson to stare at him…but instead they said Occlumency. He stopped humming and listened closer in the hope of catching a name.
“Sexiest teacher in the school” One of the girls swooned and Dan could not help but roll his eyes. “That hair…” The other chipped in as she clearly thought about ‘the dreamboat’ “...and his stubble…so manly.”
At that Dan took slight offence and found himself rubbing his chin just to make sure that his stubble had not vanished over night. However his thoughts were soon disrupted by the very high pitch squeaks the girls in front gave as a tall and relatively attractive man walked the opposite way down the corridor. The eyes of many followed him as he went and Dan could not help but join in, his mouth slightly open in astonishment…it was Will.
With a sudden change in direction Dan followed the trail of giggling girls and pushed his way through the crowds in hope to try and catch up with his old friend. He soon found themselves outside of the castle, heading out over the bridge and he was in a suitable distance to shout out his fellow Professors name when a group of Hufflepuff’s seemed to surround him thrusting roles of parchment at him of their extra charms work. Glancing up nervously Dan saw Will vanish and he could not help but let out a disgruntled sigh before telling the girls to give the work to Girty and not him as she needed the practise marking.
Seeing as he was outside Dan thought he might as well try and enjoy the fresh air when he noticed that the man he had been stalking almost was standing only a few hundred meters away from him…by the Whomping Willow. A wide grin filled the Head of Hufflepuff’s face and with his hands shoved into his jacket pockets Dan walked casually over towards Will.
“You know I think it remembers us.” Dan joked as he stood next to his old house mate. “Every time I go near the bloody thing I am convinced it shakes its branches at me…I sometimes think we should not have laughed so much at it.”

Things were good for Will. Finally he had made the jump from being just a Occlumency professor’s assistant for so many years at a small magic school in France that concentrated on a few certain subjects, Occlumency being one of them, to being a proper assistant. It was hard to find a school that taught the subject because a lot of headmasters thought it was an evil power to have. In Will’s mind, it was not evil at all, and if it could be classed as evil, then so could any other subject.
He was now back to where he learnt his skill, the place that he forgot how much he’d missed. So much had been going on that he didn’t realise he’d probably not thought about Hogwarts in ten years. Being back here was great, and he knew that apple’s didn’t fall far from the tree. He would probably bump into some old school friends, whether he reckognised them or not was a different matter. He was unsure of if they would recognise him either. Back then, he was a geeky little nerd and was always being picked on. The amount of times he had been put in a random corridor hanging from a candlearbra he couldn’t count. Now, he was tall and manly, with no hint of a geek in him.
Standing up again, he realised that the grassy lump wasn’t the best place to sit. His bum was now wet and had a few blades of grass stuck to it. Turning around to wipe off the excess dirt, he noticed a body approaching him. Looking up, in an awkward twisted position, still attempting to wipe his jeans free from the grass, he noticed it was a fellow Professor. Squinting a little in thought, he realised when he spoke that it was Dan.
“Daniel Hubbles! I never in my right mind would think you’d be here mate! How’s it going?” he grinned from ear to ear. Pulling Dan into a manly embrace and slapping hims on the back. Letting him go, he looked at him and flicked the hair away from his eyes. “How did you know it was me?” he asked, with a smirk, and his eyes full of wonder.
He’d not seen Dan in so long, like a year or two after graduation. He couldn’t remember that far back on what Dan had been doing then. Looking over Dan’s shoulder, he saw a group of girls gathering on the lawns a fair way back, all huddled together and giggling. Frowning a little in confusion, he looked back at Dan and a ‘Hkk’ mock laugh passed his lips. “You seem to have quite a following” he smirked. Flicking his eyes back over to the girls, a girl was heading for them, and stood intfront of them.
“Excuse me Professor Hubbles, Professor Vaid, Are you two single?” she blushed and quickly looked back at her friends. Will couldn’t help but give a small laugh and look back at Daniel. “Well, Yes, I suppose I am, but I can’t speak for Professor Hubbles here... why do you want to know?” he questioned, putting his legs together so he stood straight, and stroked his chin stubble.

It was great to see Will again and Dan was more then happy to greeting his old friend with a manly hug with lots of back slapping (they had to prove they were mannish in someway) As they broke away Dan was finding it hard to keep a straight face as Will asked how he knew it was him.
“Come on mate, how could I not know it was you…no one in their right mind would walk like that unless they were very drunk.”
Dan started to laugh as he looked over at Will, the thoughts of the years of playful teasing they would give each other in the Hufflepuff commonroom. Those were good times and in a way he still missed them, when he sat in the commonroom now with his Hufflepuff’s they all seemed so carefree, so alive and sounding like the old sod he was becoming Dan would always tell them to cherish these moments (as a response he normally got bombarded with sweet wrappers) Snapping back to reality and the present day Dan looked over at his very well groomed friend and listened closely to what he said about the pack of fan girls.
Glancing over Will’s shoulder to the gaggle of girls Dan gave a small laugh and shook his head at the comment that they were his followers. He did notice Sandra who was a well built Gryffindor who had been sending him Valentines Day cards, Christmas and birthday presents for the past 3 years…she would be there for him.
“Sadly mate I think they are nearly all yours. You have taken the female population of the castle by storm.”
With a playful punch on the shoulder Dan noticed that one of the girls had been quite roughly shoved out of the huddle by the others and was slowly making her way over, checks glowing red and her hands trembling as she approached the two men. Trying not to laugh in her face Dan bite his tongue as she inquired if they were single. As Will told her he was single her face light up with a rather wide smile ad she gave an excited look back at the others but when she looked back wide eyes at him Dan could not help but feel slightly guilty.
“No I am not.” Dan gave her a rather overexerted look of disappointment. “I am sorry; looks like you will just have to fight over Professor Vaid. I shall give you a tip though he has a HUGE week spot for Chocolate Frogs” Dan leaned closer to the girl and whispered in her ear. “He is very easily amused.”
The girl nodded her head almost as if she was making a mental note of what Dan had said before attempting to give Will a flirtatious smile though her nerves. Safe to say it failed and looked more like a grimace and out of sheer embarrassment she turned on her heel and ran back towards the others.

Will gave a laugh as Dan made fun of his walk. Typical Dan, even all these years he was still taking the mickey. “Hey, I don’t know where you get that from, but I don’t have a funny walk, I could be drunk for all you know” he grinned. This was a little strange for Will, he’d not been this openly friendly with anyone for years, probably because he hadn’t had the past he did with Dan. The geeky little Hufflepuff’s, who would of thought. Looking at Dan, he seemed to go off into a world of his own for a moment, smirking as Dan’s mind drifted, he slapped him on the arm to get his attention once again.
“Your getting old mate” he laughed, bringing his hand back down, and into his jean pocket. Even now, he still stood like a nerd, hands in pockets almost always, and Dan confirmed that fact when he mocked his walk. Yup, he was still a geek at heart. As Dan glanced over his shoulder, Will followed his eye line to see his eyes fixated upon a rather large Gryffindor. Scarily enough, she was almost the same size as some of the guys on the gryffindor quidditch team. Pursing his lips, he rubbed the back of his neck and rested his eyes back onto Dan. Watching his face, a laugh escaped Will’s mouth, in shock of the girl.
When Dan said they were almost all for him, Will raised his eyebrows at the bridge of his nose, unsure of what to think. “Oh, really? Well, erm. I think i’ll take that as a compliment. You were always the one who got the women Dan, it’s still weird for me even now” he admitted. It was true, even though he was classed as a good looking bloke, his personality obviously reflected him as a pushover, and the French women seemed to obviously only want him as a friend. Typical really. Still, he didn’t mind, it would happen when it happens, he always reassured himself.
Watching the girl walk away as bright red as a tomato, Will held his laughter in until she was out of hearing distance. Joining the group of her friends, they still stood there and listened to the new information she had just gained from the horses mouths themselves, and the all screamed and howled in excitement, a few sighing by the looks of things at the news that Professor Hubbles wasn’t a singleton.
“Maybe I should of told them I was married? And thanks for remembering about the chocolate frogs, i’m still simple-minded” he laughed. He had forgotten himself about how much he laughed when the frogs always seemed to get away from him. “So who’s the lucky lady who’s seemed to of captured the heart of Daniel Hubbles? I never thought i’d see the day”

Dan laughed along with Will as the girls hurried out of ear shot, not since the days with Starsmore had Dan had some to laugh with about the hordes of hormonal girls who liked older men. At Will’s mention of saying he should have said he was married Dan could not help but laugh, they may not have been the brightest girls in the school but I think they would have been clever enough to realise that if you married someone who looked like Will you would not send them to a school full of very attractive females. It was then however that he asked Dan about the woman that he had given up his single life for. Will had been there for him after the break up with Offley and Dan had very drunkenly started that he would never fall in love again, that had clearly been wrong.
“Dia Owen, the Astronomy teacher here. You may have seen her around, she is the stunningly beautiful head of Ravenclaw house, her eyes glisten like the stars she studies and her smile melts my heart every time I see it.”
With a sharp intake of breath Dan looked over at Will with a sheepish smile, he could not believe that he had just said that. He only asked who she was and Dan clearly could just not say Dia Owen, he had to go into a long list of riddled details that he was sure Will did not care about. Nervously running his hand through his hair Dan looked back over to the group of girls and caught the heated gaze of Sandra. He was surprised she did not know that he and Dia were back together, she was his own stalker.
Turning back to his old Hufflepuff house mate Dan raised his eyebrows and tried to think of something to start the conversation going, he could sit and talk about his love for Dia all day long but seeing the response that got from Girty he thought maybe it would not be the best option for two people who had not seen each other in so many years.
“So, what brings you back to Hogwarts then mate? The last I heard you were in France or some place in Europe.”

Will shook his head and continued his deep laugh at Dan and his rather butch stalker. The more he thought about it the funnier it was to witness. Looking down for a moment, he gave a smile un-noticed by Dan before holding his head up again. As Dan rambled off about his new woman, Will couldn’t help but feel happy for him. The way he spoke about her, he knew he was hung up on her, and by his tone when he mentioned her name, he was sure he was crazy in love. Simply smiling and nodding at Dan as he spoke, he knew all problems with Offley had been forgotten, and nobody seemed to come close to him except this one woman. She must be such a woman to of pierced the heart of the famous Daniel Hubbles.
Dan soon stopped talking about his love, and gave Will a slight smile, a rather shy one at that. Never in Will’s life had he ever heard Dan talk the way he did, and be shy about it. Sh e really had a hold of him. Changing the subject, Dan’s face went back to normal when he asked about him and where he’d been. “Oh you know, I went to France and became a Occlumency professors assistant” he said with a little shame in his voice. Here Dan was, a full professor, not some dork’s assistant, and Will had spent years and years trying to get a job as a proper professor at a school.
“It’s been hard mate, nobody would budge ya know? I was stuck in a rut for ages. Then I was informed by Darrow that the professor here just upped and left, so he offered me the job” he grinned at his final achievement. It seemed Occlumency was only taught in certain schools, so jobs were few. Suddenly, the name, Dia Owen popped back into his mind. “Did you say Dia Owen?” he said, pointing at Dan and raising his eyebrows. If they were any further up on his head, they’d be on the top of it.Frantically searching his mind, he remembered the name. His old Neighbours daughter.

The smile still lingered on his face as it always did after thinking about Dia, but seeing as he had been the one to move the topic on then he should actually pay attention to the things that Will had been saying. Clearly the rumours had been true with him going off to France but he did not know why but it now seemed that Will had been extremely patient to get the job he wanted. (To think that the only reason he was staying in this job was for Dia…although the enjoyment of teaching was slowly growing on him…very slowly)
“You should have just slipped someone a bit of poison in their wine and then you would have had a position…hang on you did not do that to get this job did you mate?”
Dan was only playing with him but the last Occlumency Professor did just seem to fall off the face of the earth, he was there one day but gone the next, however he could not quite see Will as the murdering kind. The one thing Dan was sure on was that it was amazing to have his best mate from school being back at the castle; it would just be like old times.
‘Did you say Dia Owen?’
Dan stared at the finger that was being pointed at him before turning his attention to Will with a very bemused look. He could not work out why his friend had just twigged onto the name and if anything why he was questioning it with the tone in his voice of familiarity. Nodding his head Dan would have said something but his throat had closed up and his mouth was bone dry, all the Charms Professor could think of was that maybe Will and Dia…no surely she would have said something…but they did not know each other from school as he would have remembered the old Will talking to a female of the species. Swallowing hard to try and open his airways Dan managed to find some form of words to make sure that Will was not left hanging in silence for too long.
“Yeah…Dia Owen…do you know her then?”

After a moment of Dan being caught up in the web of his own mind, he seemed to been able to let his subconscious slid through somehow and return to normal. Will just raised his eyebrows as Dan seemed to of wandered off in a mind of his own, thinking about his woman more than likely. It was so strange to see Dan so hung up, but he really was pleased for him. It seemed the tables had turned and Will was now the one getting lucky with all the ladies.
“No chance! I did think about slipping him something though, the old crone” he chuckled. Patience was a virtue, but even Will didn’t realise how much patience he had. Still, at least it had paid off, finally. Better late than never.
“Ha, if I did, I would of done it years ago” he laughed. He forgot how much he missed his old buddy, it was just one of those things where so much happens and you eventually lose contact. Will then saw the look of worry on Dan’s face, and he knew he was probably thinking. He decided to keep him guessing, and sweating for a few more moments before he revealed he had infact not slept with Dia, and how he actually knew her.
It was weird that his old best mate had fallen in love with Will’s old neighbour. He began to think of when he lived in his childhood, and the fact his parents still lived there in Kensington, London. The last time he had been there the Owen’s still lived next door, but Will hadn’t had time to visit them. It was then he decided next weekend he would go and visit his parents and the Owen’s to see how they all were. The Owen’s were decent folk, unlike the stuck up neighbours on the other side of the Vaid’s. They were mouthy, arrogant folk who only ever made restaurant reservations, it was pointless in them having that huge kitchen because they sure as hell never used it.
“Dude, she was my old neighbour’s kid in Kensington!”

At this news of Will and Dia being neighbours in the past Dan froze and just stared blankly at his friend. He may have overreacted at first thinking that Will and Dia had…well it was clear that they had not…but they had known each other. Suddenly Dan’s mind flashed back to a summer when he went to stay at Will’s for a week, the thought that Dia had just been next door and he did not even know…that was …it was insane.
Puffing out his cheeks Dan tried to think of something to say knowing he had been silent far to long but instead of being able to throw a compressible sentence together he could just laugh. Rubbing the back of his head nervously Dan looked over at the gaggle of fan girls who were slowly moving away most likely arguing about who would be the one to give Professor Vaid the chocolate frogs. Turning back to his old house mate Dan managed to stop himself from laughing even more and actually say something.
“Small world, very small…” Dan broke off as he tried to remember anything else from that summer in Kensington, any memory of his neighbour…of Dia. But then he could not remember ever seeing Dia at school, she is four years younger then him and with Offley at his side he did not really look at the younger years. Zoning back into reality Dan shrugged his shoulders and grinned at Will. “…funny how life turns out ain’t it.”
Dan found it amusing how conversations and his thoughts always seemed to come back to Dia and no matter how much he loved to talk about her when he was in the company of others Dan was paranoid that it was the only thing he did go on about. Placing his hands in his pockets he began to stalk closer to the Whomping Willow watching the branches sway in the wind.
(blarrr sorry it is rather rubbish!)

Will couldn’t quite figure out what Dan was thinking. His face looked amused, scared and confused all at the same time, which seemed to give a rather strange facial expression and Will couldn’t help but laugh loudly at his contoured features. Trying to concentrate on stopping laughing, he looked down for a moment to control his thoughts off of Dan’s face before he looked back up to his friend and began rubbing his stubble, an amused smile still present on his face.
“Very small infact. It must be fate Dan!” she said with a smirk. The idea of fate was confusing to him, he wasn’t sure in the world of magic if fate actually existed anymore, or whether you could create your own fate through charms and potions and milarky. Sure enough, if you went to see a seer, they would tell you your future paths, but what happened if they were bad? If you found out soon enough, couldn’t you change that? Shaking his thoughts from his mind, he looked over to the gaggle of girls who seemed to be leaving, thank goodness.
Watching Dan as he walked a little more towards the whomping willow, he turned and followed him with his eyes, before his body caught up with them and turned too. “So, Hows life been treatin’ you?” he asked, realising it was getting a little colder now, and darker too. Still, it’s nothing a cup of tea couldn’t sort out in a while, which he was sure if Dan was still himself, he would delightfully join him in the tea drinking. The times they used to sit in the common room in the corner and just sit and drink tea all night just talking about anything and everything kids talked about. He couldn’t count the amount of times they had done that, and then been interrupted by Warren and end up being dragged off to go and get into trouble somewhere.
((OOC: It's better than mine, But hey, at least I posted something haha, sorry Liz! Love you!! ))

At Will’s comment about it must being fate Dan could not help but smile, ‘maybe it was’ he muttered to himself but then that mere thought went against the very principles he believed in, that there was no such thing as fate, just very happy coincidences based upon decisions made in the past. Nodding to himself in defiance just to tell himself that he will not lose his own principles the Head of Hufflepuff house looked away from the animated tree and back to his friend as he walked closer towards him.
It felt strange now to be two grown men standing in the same spot that they did over ten years ago, looking up at the same tree they used to tease yet there was something different, Dan and Will were not connected as they used to, the years had weathered away at their friendship…but then they had plenty of time to regain what they had.
“Life it a lot better then it was.” He said with a small grin. “There are no mad Ravenclaw’s trying to kill me, I am in love with the most amazing woman in the world, Hufflepuff are doing me proud, so is Girty and now I have my best mate. No life is treating me very well.”
It may have been a very brief summary of how well life was going at the present moment in time, but compared to six months ago anything would have been better. Of course there were still some things Dan knew he would miss in some shape or form. One night stands had been his life really for so many years, the adrenaline rush, the alcohol fuelled moments of passion…he would miss that, but then to make up for it he had Dia and Dan knew deep in heart that he could never be with anyone else again.
“What about you then mate? I mean a single guy of your good looks must be under some demand…there are many lonely hearts in the world.”

It was great to still be considered at Dan’s best mate, even after lost contact for so many years. It was just one of those things, and by the time Will had got round to trying to find him again, something else came up. He just kept telling himself they would find each other again someday, and today seemed to be that day. Giving a small smile to himself, he looked back to his childhood friend and could see how much he had changed in himself. It was obvious the change was to do with Dia, and Will could see it had done wonders for him. He seemed to radiate more than Will had ever seen him do, even with Offley. Maybe it would be hard for Dan to adjust to settling down with just one woman, and never having a one night stand again, but he would reap the benefits in the long term.
“I’m glad to of seen Hufflepuff have the house cup for the past few years, I bet your ecstatic arn’t you?” he gave a deep chuckle. Will had badger pride, but Dan seemed to live off the stuff. He should just paint himself yellow and black and get it over with, or even better transfigure himself into a Badger. Will knew that there would be filling in the blanks for a while to come with time, but it would be worth it to become best friends again. Nobody had come close to being as good as friends as the two hufflepuffs were with Will. Nobody could replace the laughter Dan brought, and the way he said things.
As Dan asked about what had been happening to him, and assuming that there would of been many women Will had seen come and go, he simply shrugged and gave him a sideways smirk.
“Suprisingly enough mate, There’s hardly been any girls, maybe one or two. I’ve not been paying much interest to be honest, but now my career’s in check the woman front might change” he said with a wink. Sure enough, there had been one or two women of one night stands, and two serious relationships, but they were users and were sick of him getting nowhere in his career. Still, he didn’t mind, they weren’t worth it if they would not have trusted his instinct and patience in getting the right job for him.
“I’ve been on two dates this week, Professor Hannah Edgecombe and Ilea McGregor, she’s a Hit Witch. Dangerous ground i’m treading on mate, both of them would keep me in my place. I was rather shocked to hear Hannah was a Slytherin. Yet it seems that i’m forbidden fruit being an ex-hufflepuff and she wants me even more man. I tell ya, it’s weird” he laughed. He was quite confused, and somehow still torn about her being a slytherin and him a hufflepuff, but he wasn’t a student anymore and it shouldn’t matter, but somehow it still did.

Dan was pleased to see his work with the Hufflepuff’s had not gone unnoticed, the fact that the Hufflepuff trophy cabinet seemed to be getting more cluttered was always a good sign and he was fully expecting another trophy to be placed inside before long. It was then the conversation moved back to Will’s love life, he was clearly single, but Dan did not expect the answer he got.
“Not been with many women?” Dan stopped and looked around at Will feeling slightly flabbergasted. Admittedly if you think back to the days when they were spotty, nerdy Hufflepuff’s many of the popular girls in the school avoided them like the plague, but things slowly began to change. “Mate have you looked at yourself, you could get any woman you wanted. A few drinks, the odd compliment you’re sorted...”
Dan thought back to the last time him and Will had been to the pub together, he was trying to get over Offley and Warren and Will were doing their best to cheer him up, they all ended up pulling that night…Dan and Warren never looked back but clearly Will kept academia high up on his list. That was Dan’s first one night stand and as his reputation would tell you it was not his last, but clearly Will was one for a more long term deal instead of a quick shag in the back street behind a night club.
However the next bit of news came to him as a bit of a shock and he had to almost do a double check to make sure he had heard right. Professor Hannah Edgecombe…a Slytherin…with a Hufflepuff. That did not add up in the mans mind, he did not mind much about the hit witch, in his time Dan had had a few flings with ministry officials (most notably Quinn Locksley) but Edgecombe.
The shock was clear on his face and he was at a loss of what to say, she was a very attractive woman and he had not really talked to her enough to get a good picture of her personality but if Will liked her then good for him, Dan would not complain. Removing the look from his face Dan replaced it was a cheeky grin and he playfully punched Will on the shoulder.
“Good going mate, just before careful they do not met…can be nasty when that happens. Or call them by the wrong name…that can be painful if they have high heel shoes on and a good high kick.”

Will was sure that by the end of the year, Hufflepuff would yet again be the house cup winners. They had won it the past few years and they seemed to be getting loads of house points, and of course, never getting them deducted due to their Hufflepuff natures. You’d think the Ravenclaw’s would be winning it, but apparently not. Still, that didn’t matter, Hufflepuff were winning again, that was the main point. It wouldn’t surprise Will if Dan, being Head Of House, threw an end of year house cup winning party for them.
Will raised his eyebrows high in shock as Dan gave more or less the same expression. For a moment the pair were locked in an eye duel before Dan broke the silence, and Will’s eyebrows dropped back into their usual position. Relieved that it wasn’t something more that partial outrage, Will have a small laugh at Dan’s response before shaking his head a little. “Dan, are you asking me out?” he joked, pretending to pucker up for him. Pouting out his lips and making squelching noises before his pout inverted into a big grin. At that moment, he realised how much he had missed the Hubbles clan, especially Dan. It seemed all those years in France were wasted, and he was so glad he was back here, where he belonged.
“No seriously man, You try having my geek personality still. I’m still little nerdy, spotty, sniffly William Vaid. Women get confused by me” he smirked. It was true, He could Pull any woman, mostly, but as soon as they asked about him, he closed up and became all shy once again. Maybe it wouldn’t be that way if he had stayed here, Dan seemed to have a way with them.
“If only you weren’t seeing Dia, we could go Pulling. Where in the relationship status is Warren?” he asked. Bloody Warren, he couldn’t help but laugh but want to kill him every time his name was mentioned. He would still have to get him back for all the times he’s tricked Will into things, or pulled pranks on him. He suddenly remembered the time where Dan had gone missing when they trio had gone out pulling, and Will and Warren had walked around to the side of the nightclub to hear a rather loud moan...And Dan on her. Will and Warren just cheered him on before they made a quick exit, and Will was in hysterics. Never again would Will go looking for Dan when they were out.
As Dan talked about the Slytherin woman, Will nodded. He didn’t want to be with a Slytherin forever, maybe just once or twice. “Maybe i’ll just see her once or twice” he winked. That was very unlike Will, but the naughty, whore side of him came out when around Dan. It was that that had got him a few slaps in pubs when he was younger. Still, at least he tried.
“So where’s Girt? What year would she be in now? 6th? 7th?” he asked. Girty Hubbles was a funny little kid. Always so nosey. The amount of times she had come into the toilet while Will was urinating, was unknown. She always did this high pitched giggle, knowing she was annoying Will by doing it.
