At Will’s suggestion of going pulling together Dan could not help but start to laugh. He did miss the old days, they would strut into a muggle night club like they owned the place and set their sights on a girl for the night. The laughs that it provided were endless and for Dan it was the best way to get over Offley and in the process it opened up his eyes to a whole new lifestyle, but that had change ever since he had met Dia.
“I think I have done more then my fair share of pulling over the years mate, it’s a very bad habit that I really to get out of.” Dan still could not help but worry when this topic was brought up, after the whole Quinn incident and then kissing Jen Dan knew that he needed to just get away from situations like that could lead to temptation. “Oh well Warren is meant to be in a Long Term relationship but them living at opposite sides of the country is a sure sign things are not going well. Shame really Heather was a catch and their kids are just adorable.”
Dan stopped, had he just called children adorable…Dia was a bad influence on him. He was so struck dumb by the whole adorable kids moment that he overlooked his friends comment on seeing Hannah a few more times before moving onto better things. If he had heard that he would have given his old Hufflepuff chum a round of applause for being so crafty, but instead Dan only zoned in again at the sound of his sisters name.
“Oh yeah Girty is around still. She is nineteen soon, she is my little apprentice although I am making her re sit some of her subjects so she can advance further in life…she will need it.”
He drifted off slightly as he looked up at the Whomping Willow. Times had moved on a lot with the integration of Werewolves into magical society but there was still some with the medieval attitude that all werewolves were evil and it was still hard for them to find work. He was only doing it for his sisters welfare, by training her and grooming her to take over his place at the school she can have a secure job, Dan was only thinking about her future.
