(I thought I would start a new lesson just cause the one I am running at the moment is like two terms old! I am sorry to keep everyone in that one waiting uni work is taking over and I need to rethink some aspects of that lesson. So sorry again but it will be up and running again soon!!)
The sound of wooden table legs scrapping along the flagstone floor of the charms classroom echoed around the room as Professor Daniel Hubbles pushed the last table into place. Arguably it would have been easier to move the tables into place but then where would the fun be in that? Instead Dan had pushed every table into its place and stepping back with a smug smile on his face he looked out over the room just as the classroom door flew open. A very bemused looking Girty stood in the door way with a box full of bits and bobs. Her gaze passed over the rows of tables and finally rested upon her brother.
“Why have you put the tables like that?” She protested dropping the box down on the closed table. “It looks like a bloody exam hall.” “Well it is not now is it?” Dan answered as he strode towards Girty. “They just need their space today that is all.”
With a small grumble of disapproval Girty walked off away from her brother and towards the Charms office. She could tell that today was going to be another one of Dan’s crazy lessons (but then when were his lessons normal) and she was going to try and stay well away from any potential curses flying her way.
“I will be in the office if you need me Dan.”
Shooting Girty a small smile he pulled a disgusting pea green teapot out of the box and walked to the front of the classroom still laughing to himself as to where Girty had found such a hideous item. Gently placing the teapot down upon his desk Dan gave the classroom one last check before turning around writing up today’s instructions on the chalkboard.
(I will leave it in your trusted hands to decide what you pull out of the box, just think of any random bit of rubbish that would be lying in the back of a cupboard somewhere covered in dust.)

When she bothered to check her schedule for that day she noted that she had charms class. For some reason it felt like forever since she set foot in that classroom. Their last lesson seemed to go on and on but no matter she made her way there because that's where she was meant to be, perhaps Erys would be there already she hadn't seen her in a few days and they needed to talk about a certain someone and what happened between them in the common room.
Setting foot through the door she noted that an unprecedented act had just taken place. She was the first one there. Groaning she thought about leaving and then coming back, but even she knew that was just ludicrous. She just hoped the Professor didn't expect to make any small talk because Angel wasn't in the talking mood unless it was to Erys. Settling in at a desk she had prepared to sit when words on the board caught her eye.
Turning she saw the big box on the table and turned to get something out of it, "Hello Professor" she said before her hand reached inside the box and grabbed what turned out to be a mangy old boot. She shuddered and held it with the tip of her fingers back to her desk. Laying it on the floor where it belonged she waited hoping Erys would get there soon.

As usual, Ellie practically bounced into the Charms classroom, her long brown hair tied up out of her face with a ribbon. The day had started off splendidly with a great transfiguration lesson, and now Ellie had happily trotted off to her favorite class.
Walking into the room, she noticed that the desks had been lined up in a different fashion. They seemed very distant from each other. Ellie sighed, expecting an exam, but then seeing a box placed upon on of the desks, her hopes rose. She glanced at the board, smiling as she read the writing, Hubble signature at the bottom. She smiled, relieved that there wasn't going to be a pop quiz or something.
"Morning Professor!" Ellie said, with a smile, noticing him by the chalkboard. He was her favorite teacher, and if there was one professor Ellie was bound to have a little school girl crush on, it would be Hubbles. She walked over to the box and looked in it. All sorts of odds and ends were thrown into the box. She smiled. "Spring Cleaning?" She asked though she very well knew that it was mid- winter.
Ellie couldn't decide which object to take, so putting her faith in chance. she reached her hand in and pulled out something soft and squishy. She looked at it and held back her laughter. It was an old stuffed animal, a squirrel to be exact. It's tail was frayed and on of its eyes hanging dangerously out of its head by a couple threads. It was dirty and obviously very old. She glanced at the Professor. "This is your pile of junk?" she asked, with laughter in her eyes. She shrugged and brought it to her seat, brushing it off and turning it over in her hands.

Re reading what was on the chalkboard one more time Dan gave a small nod of the head in his own satisfaction and spun around just to see the first student enter and much to his surprise (and by the looks of it hers) it was a Slytherin. With a small smile Dan watched as she made her way towards the box waiting to see what she pulled out, as it was hard not to snigger when she pulled out the boot. It was not the fact that he happened to be a boot but more of the Slytherin’s reaction to it and by the way she was holding gave the greatest impression that it smelled. (Which it most likely did as those had been one of his many boots from his travels around the world…when did he have time to wash his feet when in the Amazon?)
The Professor was going to make a comment upon this when Ellie Rook bounded into the classroom although at first Dan thought she was going to give exactly the same reaction as Girty but soon the smile appeared on her face as well as a very chipper greeting.
“Good Morning Miss Rook.” Dan continued to watch as she walked over to the box and peered in and he found it hard not to laugh when she asked if he had been cleaning up however he never got the chance to answer her as he heard a crash and rather colourful language from the office. Pulling out his wand and a swift flick the sound of Girty’s voice simply vanished and silence fell over the classroom once again. Smiling smugly to himself Dan turned his focus back to the students in the room and the fact that Ellie had Boris in her hands.
“Yeah it is my junk.” Dan laugh and wondered over towards the table Ellie sat and looked at Boris the Squirrel as she passed it from one hand to the other. “I brought Boris with me to Hogwarts when I was a first year, he went missing after like a month and then purely by chance a few years ago I find him wedged in between a bookshelf in the library.”

Sarie ran down the hall. She was going to be late to charms. She turned the corner and nearly ran into an open door which a 7th year was coming out of. She tripped and lost her books. "Oh man." She muttered knowing now she really was going to be late.
She picked her books up not reallizing that her hand had a layer of skin ripped off by the stone floor and she ran into the chrams class and fell into her chair did she feel the pain. "Ouch, sorry I'm late Professor.

Ash walked into the Charms room, a smile on his face, despite the bruises that were also there. It seemed Professor Hubbles had another lesson going, and Ash knew that if it was anything like his usual lessons, there would not be a dull moment! Ash smiled as he saw the words on the blackboard, he walked over to a box and lo and behold, pulled out brooch in the shape of the Fleur-de-Lis. He smirked as he held it up, "Well what do you know, the Frenchman pulls out a French object. What a coincidence!"
Ash took a seat near Sarie and smiled. This lesson was going to be a piece of cake! Of course Charms was always a piece of cake for him. After all, he had been the best Charms student at Beauxbatons. Not that he was bragging of course! Well okay, maybe a little...

Ah Charms, such an interesting class. And, as Fay had to admit, one of her favorites. Sure Hubbles was a little eccentric (crazy) and his lessons tended to be interesting (weird beyond all belief), but where would the fun be in a boring class? Plus, these lessons always kept you on your toes, a very handy attribute in the real world.
"Mooorrrnniiinnngggg!"
Felicity skipped into the room and plopped her stuff next to Ellie's. She took a quick glance to the board, then her gaze strayed over to the box sitting on Hubbles' desk. My, my, what do we have here? With a small shrug, Fay made her way over to the desk. "What crackpot- I mean..brilliant lesson do you have planned for us today Professor?" Felicity flashed him one of her winning smiles and went back to scrounging through the box.
As luck would have it, Fay had pulled out a rather..interesting hat. It looked like it one of those old lady hats, with some obnoxious feather stuck into it. And, to top it off, it was bright purple. Felicity certainly did have a way of picking them, didn't she?
Blinking, Felicity brought the hat back to her seat and plopped down. With a small glance at Ellie, she grinned and placed the thing on her head. "Do I look simple dashing?"

Laying out under that willow tree was one of her favorite things to do when it was sunny out. Granted it was winter, so it was pretty nippy but she just wanted to be outside so she dressed warmly took a walk then settled down under the tree. She felt so relaxed she even managed to fall asleep underneath it. Studying into the wee hours of the morning was really starting to take its toll on her. Her eyes shut and she drifted off to sleep. It wasn't until she heard a loud screech from up above did she open her eyes. The nap wasn't long she knew that but it was long enough that she was almost late for charms.
Good thing she had her bag with her so she had no stops to make along the way. Marching down the halls trying to avoid a collision she made her way there with a few minutes to spare. People were there but not too many, her head swiveled to the side as she looked over at the board to see if the professor wanted them to do anything. Low and behold he did they were to pick something from this box of stuff he had situated in front of the classroom, shrugging her shoulders she got to it and looked in, there seemed to be a ton of junk in it. What were they gonna do with that, she wondered? Grabbing she pulled out what looked like a cufflink.
Again wondering what the box was all about she walked toward the desks but they were spread so far apart she had to wonder if they were about to be tested. Getting to a seat straight away the cufflink lay on her desk where it rolled around a time or two before sitting still. Taking out quill and parchment she hoped she was ready if there was an exam.

Boris? Ellie thought, smiling happily at the squirrel as she held it. She giggled as the Professor claimed it was his. "Thats so sad...At least you were re-united later in life." She said with a smile gleaming up at him. "Don't worry, I'll take good care of Boris." She assured him.
Ellie looked over at the Slytherin as a small Gryffindor walked in. She recognized her as the other seeker she had recently played, but she ignored her as she snickered at the ugly old boot the Slytherin was holding. It suited her.
Another student came in, a Ravenclaw Ellie had met once of twice, older than she. She smiled in her direction, but was distracted as Fay walked in, beaming with positivity. She loved Fay's personality and smiled as she poked fun at Hubbles. Ellie watched as Fay pulled out her object from the box. The hat was hideous, but somehow it suited the Ravenclaw. Ellie laughed, "It looks wonderful, but I think it would look much better on you Professor." Ellie said with a smirk.

It was a good job Hufflepuff Karis had left the common room, because a chess war had broken out just as she was leaving and pieces were being thrown everywhere. It seems the loser wasn't a good one, and as she gave a small laugh on her way out, a king seemed to of been thrown at her and just whizzed passed her ear. Turning around, she threw it back into the room before closing the door.
Managing to get to lesson in time, she opened the door and noticed a few students before her. Smiling at the ones who caught her gaze, she read the board before nodding over at her professor. Looking into the box, she looked back up again and stuck her tongue to the side as she scrambled around in the box. Picking a random thing out, she found it was an old quill, and a yellow and black striped one at that. Smiling at her object, she 'hmm'd' in happiness to herself and went and sat down at one of the tables.

Laughing so hard at the joke her friend had just told her Kendal almost didn't hear the bell that signaled class was about to start. Sometimes when she got started it was hard to stop her the boisterous laughter rang out through the hallways and she did not mind it one bit. Laughter was always a good thing plus she was going to be locked in a class room for a while she had no idea if there would be any laughter. Letting her people know she had to go she gave them a goodbye then wandered off to class.
The door to the Charms room was wide open and she could hear the buzz coming from within a few voices so that when she poked her head in she saw quite a few heads. As well as a new look. This looked like some exam room set up Oh great came the mutter released by Ken. Studying had not been part of her agenda lately so she had no idea how she was going to fake it, maybe if they were essays or something.
Glancing in the direction of Ellie a fellow Huff she caught sight of this really dingy looking squirrel in her hand. Something like that would have been locked in her room where no one could see it. Were they supposed to bring in things from home, she never got any memo. Then Kendal saw the box it had a whole lot of things in it and then she made the realization that the squirrel Ellie had came from that box. Figuring that she should go to the box she looked in and found a weird little action figure thingy. There was no doubt that it was a boys toy one she had never seen before. Turning to the professor she asked in a friendly voice "Is this yours? Really an action figure" then she giggled heading for a seat. Saying hi to Ellie as she passed her.

It was time for Charms lesson, and rumours had been flying around that Professor Owen and Professor Hubbles were back together. This meant Professor Hubbles would be in a good mood and would probably have some sort of fun lesson planned. Grinning that the perfect couple were back together, she walked into the open doorway to charms. Seeing the class half full, she still wore her smile.
"Hello Professor Hubbles, Hi everyone" she said rather cheerily as she gave a wave to everyone else in the room. Noticing everyone had some sort of strange object infront of them, or on them, she scanned the blackboard quickly before reaching her delicate hand into the box and pulling out a small, dried out and pressed flower. With raised eyebrows, she grinned even more and sat next to Karis.

With a small laugh Dan made his way back to the front of the class watching as more students continued to enter. First came the small Gryffindor Sarie who seemed all flustered about being late however considering that the classroom was empty it might have hinted that she was not as late as she thought. It was then the first Ravenclaw wondered in and as she addressed him Dan gave a slight nod in acknowledgement and watched with interest to see what she pulled out of the box. When the chocker appeared in her hand Dan gave a very coy smile as he thought about the witch it once belonged to…she was something else.
Following Adelle another three Ravenclaw’s, Ashton and Fay arrived. Ashton seemed rather amused with the idea he pulled out and took up the seat near to the Gryffindor while Fay in her usual manor managed to bring a smile onto the Professors face.
“Oh I do not think it is quite as crackpot as the last Miss Locke…but then you never know how things will escalate.”
He gave the Ravenclaw a small smile before noticing yet another Ravenclaw silently enter the room and sit down. It was then however he heard his name mentioned again and turning to look at Ellie Dan could not help but laugh as he spotted Fay wearing the old hat. Wondering back over to the pair the Professor reached out plucking the hat off the Ravenclaw and placing it upon his own head before striking a pose that would not look out of place in a muggle clothes catalogue.
“What do you ladies think? Could I start a new fashion for moth eaten headgear?”
It was at this point a group of Hufflepuff’s entered and Dan greeted them all in turn, hat still on and a cheesy smile to match. They all knew first hand how bizarre their head of house could be particularly when he was in a good mood as he was today and so he was rather surprised when Kendal asked if the action figure was his. Wondering over towards the Hufflepuff Dan looked at it closely before nodding his head causing one of the feathers in the hat to slip out and float to the ground.
“That is Ben…if you press the button on his belt his head flips round to give him a bear head. He was part of as set of figure, Merlin knows where the others are…Girty has properly eaten them…”
With a small laugh Dan walked past Via, ginning at the pressed flower and he sat down on his desk next to the tea pot. He started to tap his fingers on the desk as he looked around the room. He would give it a few for minutes for others to turn up before starting the lesson properly.

As Via twisted the dried flower in her delicate fingers, she noticed it had the smallest of ribbons attached to it, and it was a yellow ribbon nonetheless.True Hufflepuff through and through that one, she thought to herself before looking back at Professor Hubbles and smiling. She began to think of the history of the flower, and why he still had it. Normally if a flower was pressed it meant that someone dear to them had given it them, and it gave them lots of memories. With curiosity getting the better of her, she decided to ask Dan of it's origins.
Standing up, she slinked over to the professor who was just the slightest bit taller than herself, and she looked down at the flower before looking back at him. "Sir, can I ask why you have this flower?" she whispered low enough so only he could here her, with a questionable look placed upon her face. She whispered because she was sure the professor would tell her, but it could of been personal, and she didn't want everyone else to hear it, and neither would he. He wouldn't thank her for that, but Via was sure that there was a story behind the flower, and she wanted to hear it. Such a soppy one she was.
"Oh, congratulations on Professor Owen by the way. I'm glad you two are happy again" she smiled, genuinely pleased that neither of them were moping around the castle with a storm cloud permanently over their heads. They were two of her favourite teachers, along with Professor O'Donnell and Professor Beckket of course, as if Via would say Herbology wasn't her favourite lesson! The crime!.

Ellie smiled sweetly at the Professor as he turned to address them again. She hoped she hadn't offended him in the least. However, when he plucked the hat from Fay's head and placed it on his own, Ellie could hold it in. She laughed hysterically. Come on, it was funny, crack pot old professor at his best. She loved the Hufflepuff demeanor.
"Oh yes." Ellie said, tears coming to her eyes she was laughing so hard. "You certainly would be a hit on those runways in Paris." She said with a smile, completely sarcastic. She looked at Fay and smiled.
Ellie picked at he squirrel, cleaning him up a little. Boris needed to be in tip top shape for what ever they were doing in class. "Morning Via." She said with a smile. The girl was another Hufflepuff, who Ellie liked. Ellie liked most people, so, it wasn't uncommon for her to brightly greet someone, unless green was somewhere on there uniform.
