"Oh yes im eternaly grateful that you are not putting me through immense torture my dear Alexis" Rolling his eyes as he said this and draining the last of his pumpkin juice. He looked at the Ravenclaw girl he didnt know and gave her a friendly smile, "I dont believe we have met, Im Mark" he held out his hand for her.

Polaris smiled warmly as she took his hand and gave a polite nod of the head. "It's a pleasure, Mark. I'm Polaris." She said kindly, her words thick in accent. "Were you the one who decided to throw this party?" She asked while tilting her head to the side in curiosity, the kind smile never leaving her lips.

He smiled warmly at her, "Polaris? Thats a name i've never heard of before" Mark smiled, "And ive heard of some pretty strange names" He looked around the room, his eyes landing on Maxi and Ashton who seemed to be swaying intime to the slow music, "Ah, young love" he laughed to himself. Looking back to Polaris he nodded, "Yeah, i thought some people could do with a little time off and relaxation"

Polaris quirked her mouth to the side for a moment before furrowing her eyebrows. "And I don't think I've ever heard the name of Mark before." She gave a soft laugh before following his gaze and looked to Maxi and Ashton. Smiling and nodding once more, she looked back to him. "It seems you're doing well, then. I feel pretty relaxed in here myself, and I usually don't like crowds or confined areas."

"Mark is a pretty common name and it completly rubs Alexis up when people call me that" he laughed, "I was named Markeil though it rather annoys me when people call me that, just like it annoys Alexis when people call her Lexi, Lex or Alexi... She prefers Alexis-Mai but nobody calls her that" he laughed, nudging his sister and seeing the annoyed expression on her face. "Well im glad i can do some good"

Ari smiled at Polaris as she introduced herself, "I'm Arabella, well, Ari for short," she said to both of Marks sisters and to Polaris.
Unsure of what to do next she stared at the bowl full of pumpkin juice.

"Ah, so how many siblings do you have..?" Polaris asked, genuinely curious. She smiled while tilting her head to the side. This seemed to be a habit of hers. Filling up a cup of juice, she took a small sip while looking at him with bi-coloured eyes.

"Well there's me, Alexis, Dyanneabelle and Ricky" he told her, "So two younger sisters and a younger brother." He shrugged as he drank the last of his own juice. "At least i dont have to babysit anymore, always a drag that was" he said, grinning at his sisters. The four of them, Mark being the only male, which now he thought about it, felt kind of strange, stood by the bar.

"Ah, that's neat. I myself am an only child." She replied before turning to Ari and inclining her head. "Pleased to meet you as well, Miss." Polaris said while smiling. She took a second sip of juice as she looked between Mark and Ari.

"Yes well hope it stays that way, little sisters are a pain" he laughed, but moved away from Belle and Alexis in case they decided they were going to swing for him. "Though im sure they think older brothers are a pain too"

Polaris gave a soft giggle before lifting a hand up and running her fingers through her hair for a moment. Grinning, she heard the music change to an up-beat song that she was sure everyone knew. "So, you two going to dance, or just stand around like a bunch of lemons?"

"Well you see i have this problem where i have two left feet, instead of one right foot and one left one. I have no sense of rythem and would more than likely make a fool out of myself, so i think standing like a lemon sounds decent to me" Mark laughed, raising his hands behind his head and shrugging as he did so, "But if you want to dance by all means do so, i shall stand here and watch"

Arabella smiled when she heard Polaris say something about dancing. She frowned when Mark said he didn't like dancing but smiled at Polaris, "Well, you know, we could just let leave him with his sisters after that mean comment about them," she said jokingly.
She looked at Mark, "That, or you can come and dance with us," she gave a small, innocent pout, "please?" she said before giving him a big smile.
