(RoR) Before Christmas Party

[Mark Alméida]

"Girls!" He said, waving his arms in the air, "Whoever made you lot so confusing needs shooting i swear!" He turned to Maxi who seemed not to have noticed anything that had gone on. "Amusing? Me? Yeah well im used to being called that..." he sat down in his chair and leant back, with a confused look on his face, "... Though its not usually said when im confused"

<sup>Arabella sighed as he sat back down. How clearer can I make this? she asked herself getting confused herself. Can he seriously not notice that I like him?.

Arabella ran a hand through her hair and looked around the room wondering what she could do now.</sup>

[Alexis Alméida]

Alexis watched what was unfolding infront of her and laughed, Belle seemed incapable of saying anything she was laughing that hard. "Yeah i picked up on the face she's new" Alexis said, still grinning at Mark from across the room. "You think the spectacles cute? Or my brother?" She asked, she was used to people telling her that Mark was cute, he got it all the time in France, "Mark does have a good heart, if someone goes over to speak to him he wont push them away" Alexis said, "Well you never ran into Mark then did you?" she laughed as she watched Mark and Arabella.

"Why are your species so confusing Ari?" he asked her, putting his arms behind his head, "You always know whats going on between girls and you leave us poor guys totally clueless" He looked back over at his sisters and noticed another girl, "Dont start ganging up on me you three!" he shouted to them smiling, mainly at the other ravenclaw he didnt know.

<sup>Arabella laughed, "Well, Mark, how is it that your species has to be completly slow when it comes to realizing that someone likes you?" she asked shaking her head, "And I wouldn't be surprised if they did gang up on you," she said with a smile.

Ari sighed and looked at Mark, trying to figure out what was going on inside that head of his. She shook her head and looked at the floor with a smile.</sup>

"We're not slow at realising someone likes... Oh" He spoke finally getting it and feeling somewhat foolish. He looked back over at Alexis and Belle and the other girl, Well i certainly wont be living this one down for a while thats for sure he said sipping his pumpkin juice. He sighed as he thought of what a prat he must have looked, even Maxi was now laughing. He stood up and gave a small bow, "Glad i can be of amusement to the lot of you!" He put a hand on the back of his head and laughed. "I guess i would deserve it now if they did, wouldnt i?" he laughed.

<sup>Arabella looked up at him, sighed, and nodded, "Yeah, I think you would," she said with a smile. Ari looked at his sisters and shook his head, "Is he always like this?" she asked them.

Arabella looked at Mark again with a smile. She shook her head and sat up in her chair.</sup>

[Polaris Stormwrath]

Polaris laughed softly as she threw her hands up in defense, smiling widely. "Hey! I actually complimented you! I'm not saying anything bad!" She yelled over to him while still laughing. Polaris mocked a bow in a playful manner, still giggling.

Mark stood up and looked down to Ari, nodding at her to come and stand with the other three, when he got there he looked at the other ravenclaw girl and said, "Well i couldnt hear what you said from over there could i?" he said with a smile, "Mockin my bow now are you?" he said laughing, pouring himself some more pumpkin juice.

[Alexis Alméida]

Alexis laughed as the two walked over to them. Alexis nodded at Ari and said, "yeah he's always been a bit of a dope, havnt you Mark?" she said teasing him. One thing she loved was to wind her brother up.

[Mark Alméida]

"Now Alexis that wasnt very nice" he said with a sad voice, though he couldnt hold it due to laughing. He was used to his sisters taking the mick out of him by now, after all they had been doing it for years. "Just dont gang up on me, i dont think i could handle a repeat performance of what happened in france, that was just cruel"

^{Arabella smiled as she stood up and followed him to his sisters and the other Ravenclaw. She couldn't help but laugh at what Mark's sister had said about him. Ari looked form Mark to the Ravenclaw girl and laughed.}

"Okay, this is ridiculous. I feel like im the only guy here when there are two others stood over there!" He said pointing to Max and Ash. "I did not do all this just to be bullied by girls!" he laughed, though at least it was keeping everyone else slightly amused which was all Mark could have asked for.

[Alexis Alméida]

"No Mark its not, but its funny" she laughed, "Just be grateful im not getting them to pin you down and putting makeup on you again" she laughed thinking back to when she did that. They were younger then but all three of them were happy, they were now, but she had to admit it was kind of sad that this was the first time they had spent together for a while.

She looked at Ari and shared in with her laughing then answered Mark again, "Well you may as well be, them two are too engrossed in each other to notice whats happening around them"

[Professor Ashton Laurent]

Ashton laughed as Maxi hugged him, hugging him back tight as he could, Ash whispered in his ear, "I missed you more." Maxi turned and began talking to the people next to him, Ashton smiled as Maxi introduced him to Mark's sister, Alexis. Ash gave her a friendly nod, and looked around the room, noticing the many people who had begun to arrive, turning back to Maxi he leaned aganist his boyfriend's shoulder, and asked, "So, what have you been up to? Gotten into any trouble yet?" he teased.
