Erika smirked as she noticed the book slipping out of his hands. "Careful there, if you stare too much longer, you'll end up dropping your book on your foot. And that won't be any fun will it?" she teased lightly, dark eyes glinting with mischief. "So, are you still avoiding me, or did you honestly forget my name?"

Richard quickly looked down and saw what Ericka was on about, the thick book had almost slipped fully out of his grasp. Grimacing he quickly let of the book and caught it again as it went lower. That was about as far as Richards reaction time went, he was hopeless if someone threw something at him, it seemed to take a lot longer then most people for the message to get to his hand from his brain. Not wanting a repeat of the whole thing Rich quickly slid the book back on the shelf and folded his arms looking directly at Erika, trying to ignore the mischievous glint in her dark eyes.
“Please use what little brains you have. If I was avoiding you why would I be standing in front of you? I think it is you who is avoiding the whole question of why is a person such as yourself stood talking to a Ravenclaw. And besides who can forget your name when you have such a pretty face.”
Reaching forward Rich reached out and taking hold of the end of some of her long black hair he flicked it over her face and quickly made his way back to the table where they sat before laughing silently to himself. This was the most fun he had had in a very long time.

Erika stood there in surprise as Richard teased her about not having any brains, then picked up her hair between his fingers and brushed it against her face, then walked away. A smirk filling her face, she sauntered over to him once more. "My my Richard, are you flirting with me?" she teased in a sweet, sultry tone, eyes sparkling with humor. Not giving him a chance to answer, she turned and sauntered gracefully away. Her walk was steady and confident, head held high, back straight, and shoulders back. She looked back over her shoulder, and gave Richard a teasing smile. "Well, are you coming or not?" she asked as she gave him a wink.

Richard watched Ericka in the distance as she seemed to be working out what he had just done, but soon enough her gaze was upon him again. He felt like it was burning through his skin and looking at his very soul, and this mere thought sent a shiver down his spine. But yet he tried to keep his cool composure and act as if non of this was bothering him, that the accusation that he was flirting was a normal thing.
“Now Ericka would I do such a thing like that? I was merely trying to hide your face so that nobody else would be scared for life by looking upon it.”
He gave a small smile but it soon faded when he noticed that she was not paying any attention and was actually walking away. For the brief moment while her back was turned he had a sudden surge of mixed feelings. At first it was relief that his neck and blood was safe for another day, but then after he looked over the stereotypical view of vampires and the fact that so far she had shown no sign of wanting to drain his body and leave a bloodless carcass on the library floor he actually felt down heartened that they would not be spending more time together.
Although these feelings were soon pushed out the window by anxiety when she turned around yet again her sharp eyes falling upon him, and her tempting voice asked him to follow. Glancing around the library Rich looked around almost hoping for someone to give him his answer, but nobody seemed to care. Licking his dry lips Rich pushed himself out of the chair and took a few steps forwards rather grudgingly. Was he walking into a trap? Did she really want to kill him after all of this?
“Where are we going?”

Erika threw back her head and laughed, a soft musical laugh, like the twinkling of bells. "I don't know!" she exclaimed still giggling, "Where do you want to go?" she asked Richard, stepping closer to him. Soon they were face to face, Erika's eyes were alight with humor and mischief, and her voice merry. "Should we go roam the corridors, maybe head out to the lake?" Her face suddenly brightened with glee. "Ooh, ooh! I have an even better idea! Why don't we go out to the Quidditch Pitch!?" she exclaimed excitedly, clapping her hand together and jumping up and down like a gleeful little child.

As her laugh sounded out around the library Richard looked on with a worried look on his face. She seemed to find something funny and the worrying thing was he did not know what was so funny. But as she took a step closer and started mentioning places his face relaxed into a small smile as he looked into her dark eyes. Although as soon as she mentioned the Quidditch pitch his smile wavered ever so slightly, and it was his turn to laugh, however it was not as loud or joyful as Erika’s.
“You are expecting me to get onto a broomstick and fly. I have not done that since my first year flying lessons. My feet normally stay firm on the ground.”
His upper-class up bringing was slowly creeping out, his snobbery and determination to not do anything he was not confident with. However he had a small nagging feeling that this Gryffindor was not going to take no for an answer.

Erika smirked, "What's wrong? Scared?" she teased mercilessy. "Afraid you're gonna fall?" She sighed dramatically. "Well, if you don't want to go to the pitch...we could always explore the forest." She said gleefully, smiling a bit too eagerly for someone who was planning on going into the forbidden forest.
((sorry it's short. bad case of writers/posters- block at the moment. ugh!))

As Ericka even suggested that he was scared Richard raised his eyebrow. She was jumping too to many conclusions. Just because he said he did not want to fly did not mean he was scared. He just never had the need to fly, Richard did not play Quidditch as he saw the point of throwing or hitting different types of balls at each other a waste of time. (Although it did not stop him from watching the games) So almost to prove to her that he was not scared Richard stretched out his hand, gripping her tightly and began to pull her out of the library.
“My dear Erika you have thrown yourself into the deep end here. Prepare to eat your words!”
Richard gave a small laugh as he looked over his shoulder at the Gryffindor a smile spreading across his face as they walked out of the library and out into the castle grounds.
((I believe you wanted to move the thread on dear chap! And there you have it, they shall make their way to the pitch.))
