Katric wandered around the school, hopeful that someone would help him find where he was going. He kept his head down, and his hand always pulling down on his large black wool hat that covered the entire top of his head. He hoped no one would notice two slight bulges under the hat on opposite sides.
He continues to walk up and down the hallway again and again. It was Sunday and no classes were going on. So at least he wasn't missing anything. Transferring to this school, he'd missed a good chunk of classes. But he hoped he'd be able to catch up. But of course he'd never get the chance to if he couldn't get the courage to walk up to someone and ask where his common room was.
After thinking this he sighed and continued to pace back and forth.

Briar ws running down the hall, trying to hide from her sister when she felt herself collide with another person. The impact caused her to fall to the ground in a dazed and confused state of mind. She shook her head and tried to look at the person she ran into, "What is wrong with you?" she sorta screeched as she tried to push herself up, "You can't just pace in the middle of the hallway! That's how accidents happen!"
She brushed herself off and looked at the person. She put on a friendly smile and held out her hand, "Well since I'm in a good mood today, I'll forgive you. Name's Briar, Briar Vanderveer."

Polaris was taking her usual stroll of the castle when she came upon what looked to be a seventh year boy wandering the halls along with Briar laid out on the floor. Tilting her head to the side as she approached them while smiling warmly, "Hey..you lost? And don't mind briar..she's a dork." She said softly, her words thick in scandinavian accent. Her bi-coloured eyes looked him over as they shimmered lightly from the sunlight pouring through the window just beside them while she waited for his reply.

"um..uh...um..." Katric started to panic. he didn't know what to do, people were talking to him. That was good. Two girls, also good. So why was he all flustered? It was a good question, one he asked himself several times in his mind, until he realized they were still there.
He Quickly pulled his hat down tighter on his head, keeping his head down. "M-My name is Katric, Katric Ratkom." He shook their hands quickly, hoping they didn't see his fingernails were more like claws. "and yeah, I-I am a little lost, I can't seem to find my common room, heh, I'm a bit of a freak."

Briar laughed, "I'm sorry but the only freak in the room right now is me," she said with a smile, "And I am not a dork, just clumsy," she said before sticking her tounge out at Polaris. "Well Katric, it's a pleasure to meet you, and if you want to get on my good side, you gotta stop the nervous thing you've got going on. It's kinda scaring me. You're making me feel like I have a zit on my forehead," she said placing a hand on her hip.

Polaris blinked as she circled Katric, sniffing before narrowing her eyes. "Is that..fox..?" She asked as she continued to circle him, letting her eyes flow over his form multiple times as she finally stopped and looked him in the eyes. It's not that she was trying to interrogate him, she was just generally curious. Sometimes at the most random times, her animagus senses kicked in when triggered by certain things.
Polaris noticed that she was scaring the boy and backed off a bit before smiling warmly. "Sorry..my name is Polaris Stormwrath, sixth year Ravenclaw."

"Oh, umm, uh....I...uh..." He couldn't hide it from her, she had figured it out, but how? He backed away from her and prompley fell on his butt. causing his hat to go flying. Revealing Snow white hair, Blood red eyes, and to two fluffiest White fox ears you had ever seen. Katric was stunned.

Polaris continued to blink before smiling and offering a hand out to him to help him up. "I knew it. Come now, it's nothing to be scared or embarassed of." She said softly in a reassuring tone. "The floor's dirty."
She looked over at Briar, curious to see her reaction after helping the boy up.

Briar looked at Katric and smiled, "See now you're keeping secrets... and that's not very nice," she said as she watched Polaris help him up. "Why do feel you have to hide things from us? We're cool!" she said laughing.
She pointed a perfectly polished finger at his hair, "By the way, I love you're hair!"

Bradyn had been wandering aimlessly until he heard a commotion up in the hallway and the strong stench of dog. Ugh, dogs were not something he particularly liked. He walked up and saw that Bry and Pol were towering over a Gryffindor on the floor. "Gee, what have you girls done to him? Looks like he fell to peices." He said as he watched Pol help him get up. Then he noticed the ears, and they weren't cat ears. Now he had two dogs to try and keep his cool about.

Katric was stunned. They didn't run. They didn't scream. They didn't try to hurt him. They didn't even ridicule him. He was so stunned now that he just sat there. staring at polaris' hand for about 30 seconds. Until he finally stood up. Revealing a white fox tail coming out of his backside. Katric blushed a little. "You guys aren't freaking out...How come? When most people see me they normally run and scream. why aren't you?" He asked ing his head to the side. as he talked with his head up, in plain veiw was his enlarged canine teeth. "and I'm a fox, not a dog, thank you very much!"

Polaris whimpered softly as she looked to Bradyn. "It was Briar that had originally knocked him over..the first time. Second time I guess was my fault.." She said in a defensive, but joking tone. After a moment of looking at Katric, she reached up and felt at his ears, giggling softly. "Never was on the other side. Now I know how it feels! And I'm not freaking out because I myself am an animagus. Besides, it's just not nice to make fun of someone for how they look." Polaris coughed the last bit out, pointing at Bradyn playfully while grinning.

Bry shrugged at Katric, "You get pretty used to seeing abnormal things at this school, but I must say, that you are by far the coolest Animagi I have ever met," she looked over at Pol with a smile, "don't wrry! I still heart you too!" she said joking with her.
Briar turned around when she heard Bradyn, "HEY!" she screamed and wrapped her arms around him. She let go when she realized she had almost tackled him, "Sorry," she muttered. "Just so you know, he tripped me first, then Pol sorta shoved him to the ground in my rescue," she said, completly kidding bout the whole thing, hoping none of them would take her seriously.

Now Katric was really confused. Other side of it? She was touching his ears, normally he would have started scolding her, but he was just to stunned and surprised to do anything but just stand there. "um...I'm not an animagus, well, not really, I'm kinda...stuck." He said blushing a little.

Bradyn frowned, "Hey, what was that!" he said laughing at Pol when she obviously meant that for him. He stepped back a bit when Bry came at him but got caught anyway. "Merlin, that scared me." He said when she let go of him. Bray went closer to the boy and inspected him. "You got stuck as a halfy?" Intrigued, since he had heard that could happen, which was the soul reason he kept his own form a secret. "Uhm.. what was your name again?" He said, since he must have missed the introductions. Bradyn kept his distance from the boy though.
