Jerred wrote how he through the quaffle out to a Slytherin chaser so I thought heck why not have Girty intercept that....it was a pass....or did I do wrong?

[OOC: Well, Slytherin was given possession, and I suppose that means that their chasers were to gain the quaffle, not their keeper (Since he already had the quaffle and couldn't gain possession, TECHNICALLY) But, to be honest, where are the Slytherin chasers anyway ] Zachary had decided the best way to view the game was looking down at it-- as looking down at things had always been his specialty-- and was currently circling his broom high above the pitch. A small, and what seemed like almost-permanent, scowl was on his lips as he watched the Hufflepuffs score yet again, the hideous yellow robes blurring across the pitch, clashing horribly with the bright red of the quaffle.
His own team seemed to have dispersed around the pitch, and as usual, weren't keeping an eye out for the beaters. Hypocritical, because admittedly, he had momentarily forgot about the snitch in his frustration and was surprised to see the glint of gold incredibly close to him, seemingly indecisive of what direction it wanted to go in. Zachary, noticing Thom wasn't anywhere in sight with a satisfied glare, zoomed past the stands and toward the glittering object, only to find it had dropped altitude quickly, stopping just near the lowest stands.
Following it determinedly, his eyebrows knitted together in a frown of concentration, he almost let out a whine when he saw Thom's disgustingly calloused hands reach out for the snitch half a moment before his. His mouth shut at once, overcome with a gleeful smirk as he realised the snitch had escaped Thom's grasp and was flying hidden from view once more.

Lauretta knew she had to focus and get her head in the game. She gained possesion of the quaffle and hoped there was another Slytherin who had also decidedto do such. Gaining speed, L.c shot the ball at the closest blur of green. She asumed they were a Chaser.

With a glance Girty noticed the quaffle was back in play. Leaning down lower on her broom Girty flew closer, stretching her hand up and plucking the quaffle out of the air. Slowing to a halt Girty looked around for any other Hufflepuff in sight. With a glint in her eye she saw another chaser, pulling her arm back Girty let it fly through the air in there direction.

Grace had been sitting pretty up high in front of her hoops. Since her team mates had taken so well to the game and the chasers seemed determined to plan the quaffle into the Slytherin goals she had not seen any action thus far. Though she wasn't complaining, it was excillent how well Hufflepuff was playing in general but that still meant Grace had very little to do.
Girty intercepted Jerred's pass to one of his players ((OOC: well that's how I read it & besides there was no Slytherin play at the time to get that ball. But it's done, so does it really make that much of an impact at this stage!?)) and then Hufflepuff had the quaffle for quite a number of passes till suddenly LC intercepted. Then good old Girty got the quaffle again. 'GO GIRTY!' Grace shouted with her hands cupped around her mouth.

Well then..
Nice try Girt L.C thought before chasing after the quaffle, yet again. What was her team thinking? It was pointless if they weren't even going to try. Grabbing the quaffle, she sped to the other Slytherins. SHe past the quaffle. What were they doing, sleeping?

Girty had sat back on her broom and watch the quaffle fly around a bit, she flew near the stands and waved at a few of her friends, but then it finally dawned on her from the groans that Hufflepuff no longer had the quaffle. Spinning around on her broom Girty chased after LC who had the quaffle. Girty was gaining on her and when LC passed the quaffle she seized her chance. Picking the red ball form the air, Girty tucked it under her arm and headed back towards the goalposts. With a small smile Girty pulled the quaffle out and throw it towards Boggleworth.

Having very little to do with the game which was beginning to seem like a certain win for Hufflepuff, so long as Thom did his work, Boggleworth flew throughout the pitch, dodging the odd bludger, pulling a funny face at his opponents and generally smiling broadly. Though the match wasn't particularly close the exhilaration of flying and taking part in such a spectacle was enough to keep him more than amused. Grinning as LC and Girty continued their fued over possesion of the quaffle he was about to go check upon Thom and help in his search for the snitch when the quaffle was flung in his direction. Sweeping down as it began to plummet he plucked the offending article out of the air. Tucking it under his arm he flew doggedly down the pitch persuading his broom to go just a might faster with words of encouragement. Upon nearing the Slytherin goal he saw a chaser come flying at him hoping vainly to bloke his shot at goal; therefore instead of taking them on he neatly threw back to Girty whom he knew was streaking alongside and would shortly be in a prime position to shoot, and with any luck score.

Girty flew along the side of Bog and they flew towards the goals. She drifted off wide to try and shake off some of the Slytherin’s marking her. Then as she got into position she heard the shout form Boggleworth and the quaffle was flying towards her. Grasping it with both hands she flew closer and closer to the hoops. A load of green robes were in front of her. Weaving in and out she headed toward the middle post. Then with all her strength Girty threw it straight towards the middle hoop, praying it would not be saved. Possession given to Slytherin.

Giving the team another round of applause Dax guessed he best get on with his job. Gripping tightly onto his broom with one hand and around the bat with the other he went in search of a bludger. He spotted one flying just over the shoulder of Girty.
Before a Slytherin could get to it he dived lower swinging his bat backwards and hit it sight in the direction of Daniels.

{ I'm a new beater, so I guess I'll join in, seeing as this isn't finished.. Pretend she was here the whole time? }
Erys, who had been there the whole time, was off like a rocket, her eyes following Dax as he blasted the bludger off to Daniels. Moving to hit the evil thing, she positioned herself as such. Cranking her arm a ways, she whipped her bat at the bludger, slamming it back at the Hufflepuff beater with as much force as she could muster. Now that Daniels was protected, she could busy herself by watching for another bludger to aim at somebody. Little miss Girty was scoring too many points, it seemed. Scanning the pitch quickly, the Slytherin soared towards the other dangerous thing, calculating how much pressure it might take to shoot it at their chaser. Drawing her arm back, Erys clubbed the bludger at Girty, confident her strike was powerful and on-target.
Now that that was taken care of, she weighed the bat in her hands, always careful to keep a good grip on it. No mistakes. Her team was losing terribly, this was a downright outrage. "Jerred! Heads up!" She called loudly, alerting the keeper of the oncoming quaffle. Stop that thing, or I'll have to break some bones. Came her angry thoughts, a shout in her mind as she ground her teeth together. Watching out for the other beaters, and bludgers, Erys steadied her grip on her broom, grateful for its speed and its comfortability.
"Will one of you start scoring points?" The sixth year shouted to her fellow teammates, notably pissed off that they hadn't gotten any yet. What were they doing, sleeping? If she wasn't doing her job as beater, she would've taken over for one of the chasers and stolen the quaffle herself.

Maria eyes widened a bit as she saw the Slytherin beater stop the bludger Dax had hit. She watched as the girl aimed a bluger toward Girty. Immediately she set off as fast as she could to position herself between Girty and the bludger. As she flew toward the bludger she spotted Daniels not too far off.
Getting between the bludger and Girty, Maria raised her arm and when the bludger was close enough swung with all her might hitting the bludger in the generally direction she knew their seeker was in. She looked around quickly trying to see if Dax was close enough to finish the hit.

Cursing loudly as the Hufflepuff blocked her shot, Erys wheeled around, watching hurriedly as Maria aimed it instead towards her seeker. "Daniels, heads up!" She shouted to him, peering around for another bludger to block. Unless Dax had hit it back, then she was out of a weapon, that is if she didn't decide to up and club someone with her bat. Apparently that was against the rules, to her great displeasure. "Come on, guys! Score some bloody points already! Its Hufflepuff for god's sake!" Not really the best encouragement, but it would do. She was a Slytherin, not a cheerleader. They should be doing this already.
Hoping briefly that Joshua and Veata were in the stands watching her, Erys felt a surge of power rise up in her, as she once again looked around in case a bludger was nearby. They had to win this game, they just had to. Wrapping her fingers more tightly around the handle of her bat, the animagus enjoyed the moment. It was freedom, high up here with the wind at your back. But that second or two was now over, and she had a game to win.

Olivia flew around the pitch, seeing the goal, she yelled in excitement. It was turning out to be a good game. She had thought that Slytherin would pose a large problem, but not for her Hufflepuff's. They were a good team. After all, in the wild, badgers are known for eating snakes.
With a big smile on her face, Olivia turned her broom toward the Slytherin goal posts. Seeing Maria block a bludger, see yelled "Nice one Maria!" as she sped past. Intending to play a little defense on the Slytherins who now had control of the quaffle, Olivia's smile fade, getting into game mode. Lets see what trouble I can make, she thought with a ready smirk.
