Dax smiled as he watched Girty and Bog pass between each other, putting pressure on the Slytherin's. He then looked around to see if any other rouge bludgers where flying around, or if any had been sent on there way to hit someone.
That is when he noticed Samantha hit the bludger towrads Thom. "Oh no you don't" he mumbled as he flew over to protect his teams seeker. He flew ahead of Thom ad hit the bludger back in the direction of Samantha.

'Ahh!' Thom bellowed as Dax was suddenly came swooping in on him, twarting a bludger sent by the Slytherin Samantha only a moment ago. He rolled out of the way in mid air, leaning forward on his broomstick to gain speed and altitude.
He was rather pleased by his team's efforts so far - not once had the Slytherin team even come close to being a threat. Jerred flew past at this point - the boy's eyes trained upon the quaffle, which was clutched to the chest of a blurred Hufflepuff. Thom jeered at him, making a rude hand gesture to add to the insult.

Sammy swore under her breath, the only thing to do would be to scan the sky for another bludger. Amazingly Hufflepuffs were launching no bludgers of their own. "They probably will expect me to try to hit another player. They'll never expect me to hit Moen again, so that's just what I'll do" she thought to herself and laughing she soared towards the bludger and with a deafening crack, made contact.

Dax was still flying by Thom, listening to Thom swear and tease other people. Then out of the corner of his eye he noticed a bludger flying toward Thom and him.
"Idiot! Aim for someone else!" He shouted as he flew in front of Thom and hit the bludger in the direction of Sammantha once again.

From only a few feet away, Alicia saw Dax hit the Bludger away from Thom once again. Alicia flew closer to the bludger.
She thought of hitting samatha with it, but decide if would do more damage to aim for a chaser. So Alicia swung her bat, the ball and bat made contact, sending the bludger soaring toward L.C.

As Dax watched the bludger he noticed that Alicia had a better idea. With a smile her flew away from Thom and chased after the bludger. As he got closer he swung his bat and hit it with as much force as he could in the direction of LC. He watched the bludger fly into the side of the player, with a strange sense of satisfaction. Dax then spun around and waved at Alicia. The whole team seemed to be working well together. Successful Hit! 1/7 hits on Erin (see below)

Jerred watched as the bludger soared towards Lc, then without hesitation, Jerred raised his voice.
'Get out of the way!' He yelled, his voice nearly breaking into a high pitched squeal as he did so. He watched as the bludger continued on its way.

Erin heard the high pitched squeal of Jerrad and looked in the direction of L.C. Erin sped towards her and pushed her teammate out of the way just in time. The bludger smashed into Erin's lowerback causing an intense pain to shoot up her spine and she screamed.

Thom grinned as he watched the bludger smash into Erin's ribs, causing he to screech in pain. She span off uncontrollably, embracing herself so that she could not hold onto her broom. The Hufflepuf grinned uncontrollably, egging on the crowd as they cheered cruelly. Zachary seemed to be hovering out of the way a little, and so Thom shot off to seek him out...

Jerred watched on as Erin was in pain. He then looked over at the quaffle, and without hesitation sped off towards Erin, no longer caring if Hufflepuff score again in his absence, the only thing he cared about was helping a friend in need. He made it to Erin little after the accident happened, trying to grab control of her flailing broom.
He gripped the broom tightly, holding onto his own with only his legs. He pulled Erins broom into his own tightly, putting an arm around Erin.
'Come on, keep going, you have to, we need you!' Jerred said, despite the roaring of the pitiful Hufflepuff fans.

Zachary had started off confident, gripping his broom tightly with his gloved hands and sneering menacingly at the Hufflepuff crowd. He had discussed plenty of tactics with his teammates, most of them just crossing the line of "fair play", though not enough to disqualify the team as a whole.
It was when Hufflepuff first scored that Zachary's eye twitched. Gripping his broom tighter, he swerved toward the Slytherin goal posts, about to reprimand Boneman, when a bludger zoomed past his ear.
Spinning around, he saw it aimed for Thom Moen, and smirked at Samantha approvingly. The beaters-- Beater-- seemed to be doing well, at least. The chasers on the other hand--
He turned to L.C, a scowl on his face, but noticed with wide-eyes a bludger flying toward her with immense speed. "Mericcini, behind you--" Jerred's voice boomed along with his own, but apparently Erin had other ideas.
The bludger made contact with her with a disgusting thump, and Zachary clenched his teeth. His anger only heightened when he saw Thom's snickering and Jerred flying away from the goal posts.
Letting out a loud groan, he gestured wildly with his hands. "WHEN DID SLYTHERIN BECOME A BLOODY BUNCH OF HEROES!" He cried, slumping back on his broom with a glare.

Jerred looked glaringly over his shoulder at Zachary, his eyes narrowing. 'WHEN WE WANT TO WIN! THAT'S WHEN!' Jerred shouted back, soon letting go of Erin and making sure she was stable on her broom. 'Damn this to hell!' Jerred cried out, looking menacingly at Thom, his eyes narrowing, teeth gritting together.
'Erin, get out of the game if you can't continue, if you can, take it easy and don't do anything more stupid!' Jerred said, his anger rising. He sped off, back to the goals to defend, just in time as the Hufflepuff chasers reached the Slytherin goals.

Post by The Golden Snitch on Nov 19, 2006 11:04:14 GMT
The snitch had been flying right in the sun light most of the match, making it's golden body impossible to spot. Suddenly it dived down to the lower stands, zooming past a Slytherin chaser and finally hovering around the Gryffindor spectators.. fully in sight.
Current snitch chases: Hufflepuff 0/10 and Slytherin 0/10
(( And by the way, Slytherin has quaffle possession ))

Thom sighed loudly. The game was certainly taking a turn for the worst. Although Thom wanted his team to win, he felt it was no fun without a little challenge - something the Slytherins were not offering. Erin had stirred up far too much drama over such a small injury, and Jerred was being his typical self and rushing off to aid anything that was female and moving. Thom shook his head, watching the Slytherin keeper fusing over her as if she'd just been hit with an Unforgivable.
He almost felt sorry for Zachary. Almost.
Pulling up into the sky, Thom soared to around one hundred feet and scanned the pitch carefully. The sky was cloudless and the sharp sun caught his flying goggles whenever he turned his head, causing him to think the snitch was constantly passing right by the corner of his eye. It was beginning to severely aggravate him.
It was then that he noticed something. At the other end of the pitch in one of the lower stands, small crimson and ruby flags were jabbing about furiously, swatting at something shooting amongst the Gryffindor spectator's heads. It sparkled suddenly, and without hesitation Thom dipped his broom and dived toward the stands.
Several people screamed as he skimmed over their heads, accidentally knocking off a badger hat with his feet. The snitch, of course, had caught on almost immediately had raced off into the center of the pitch. Thom kicked at the wooden stands so as to launch himself a little faster, but it was no good. The snitch had rose into the center of the sun, causing Thom to lose it.

Dax sat on his broom smiling at all the fuss the Slytherin's were making over a bludger hitting one of there players. It is what happened in this game, everyone knew that risk. With that Dax looked around for any more bludgers flying in the air.
He spotted one close to the Slytherin goal. A smile went across his face as he flew closer. While all the Slytherin's were mucking around acting very out of character he would use this to his advantage. With a swung of the bat his net a bludger flying in the direction of Jerred Boneman.
