((Ugh... damn stupid life and active posters -_- I can't play this game... well not as Keeper anyway -_-))
Jerred remained still, infront of the centre goal, his eyes moving with the quaffle. He readied himself, waiting for the Hufflepuff's to come towards him.

The crowd had grown restless and bored. No one had scored in a while, Girty and LC's little battle resembling a muggle tennis match more than anything else. The other Hufflepuff and Slytherin chasers were flying in unhelpful directions, and Thom had found himself shouting commands at his team, doing his best to ignore Grace's disapproving glances.
Zachary had resigned to ignoring the chasers' goings on entirely, and was focused upon tracking down to snitch. Finding the current situation also a bit painful, Thom shot off to join him.

Bailey had been constantly missing the quaffle for the past few minutes of the game, losing her concentration every so often by watchin the bludgers, she had had quite a few aimed at her recently. Casting away all thoughts of the bludger she focused on the quaffle, she noticed Bog and Girty had been charging forward to the hoops and sped off to join them. She came up along side of Girty and waited until she was ready to throw the quaffle. The quaffle was in mid air once more, Bailey snatched it from the air 'an easy catch' she thought to herself. Preparing to go and attempt to score once more, when she thought perhaps Girty would like to score again! "Come on Girty your attempt we can't have you falling behind on goals now can we!" she laughed and tossed the quaffle back to Girty.

Girty heard a cry from Bailey and soon found the quaffle flying toward her again. As soon as the quaffle was in her hands Girty gave Bailey a small wave. With a small laugh Girty swerved past a few Slytherin’s and lined up for a shot. Girty pulled her arm back as far as she could and threw it with al her might for the right hoop.
Not wanting to see if it had gone in or not she spun around to face Bailey. "What me...fall behind when it comes to scoring goals you must be mistaken my dear friend."

Unlike Girty, Bailey watched and waited to see whether the they had scored. The quaffle flew smoothly through the right hoop.
Bailey waved back at Girty and laughed "perhaps i was mistaken, but there is still a lot of the match left yet!"
Bailey began to fly around randomly waiting for the slytherins to put the quaffle into play.

Grace was so bored. She had been floating around her hoops since the start of the game and not once had she had the quaffle. She had taken to commentating to herself. ... Girty intercepts the quaffle and passed, oh but LC steals it! She passes ... and oh, Girty has it again. LC catches the loose ball and passes. Erin has it now and passes. But Boggleworth steels it. Passes to Girty who passes Bailey, hope Jerred is ready. Bailey passes to Girty who shoots & ...

Jerred saw the oncoming Hufflepuffs, Girty the one with the quaffle. Jerred watched her aim for the right hoop, saw her throw the quaffle and without thinking, Jerred reached out and stopped the soaring quaffle, pulling it back into him, his first save for the day. Despite the numbing pain in his shoulder, Jerred looked about and saw LC closest to him and slightly free of the Hufflepuffs. Jerred threw the quaffle at her, hoping she'd fly well enough and score. ((Did I do it right this time?)) Umm, fraid not. Keepers have to follow every chaser post so sorry, Possession given to Slytherin.

Dax flew around the pitch weaving in and out between players, keeping his eyes open for the bludger at all times. Although he did get distracted when he noticed that Hufflepuff had put another goal past Slytherin. In a moment of pure joy he started to cheer and wave his bat around at anything he saw that was not wearing yellow. As he got closer to the Slytherin goals he saw a bludger whizzing around one of the stands.
Dax flew close up to it and flew into position. Moving his arm backwards he hit the quaffle as hard as he could in the Direction of Erin. He watched the bludger speed off in her direction hopping that the other Hufflepuff beater will help it along on its way.

Girty noticed that the quaffle was being thrown back into play after the goal.
“No time for celebration” She mumbled to herself as she hunted down the quaffle which was flying through he air. With a rather easy catch Girty remind still on her broom looking around for another Hufflepuff chaser.
With a small smile she saw Bog and Bailey flying rather close by to each other. With a quick whistle to get there attention Girty threw the quaffle towards them.
“At least one of them must catch it.”

Freya always went to spectate the Quidditch matches, not only did it always turn out to be a fun afternoon but it also gave her a chance to check out the competition. She sat down in the packed Ravenclaw stands and after having to refuse twice the "unmissable chance" of taking a bet on the game, she finally got to start watching the match.
There seemed to be a lot of good players this year, and Freya kept a close eye on the chasers she would soon be facing. The Slytherins were putting up a good fight, but the Hufflepuffs had managed to pull through every time so far and had a early strong lead.
She gave a smile of half amusement and half sympathy as she saw the Slytherin Captain get slowly frustrated with his team. After an odd incident involving a bludger and far too many team members she could easily see why.
When the snitch had come into sight the Ravenclaw jumped up in her seat, casting 'Silencio!' before the boy taking bets could even say another word to her. Both seekers were neck and neck... edging closer and closer... but the snitch prevailed as it suddenly went darting sharply in another direction. It was only when she got stamped rather hard on the foot that she reversed the silencing charm with an innocent "oops" sort of expression.

The snitch had managed to dart away from the seekers, and was now flying high above the pitch, changing direction over and over again. It suddenly dived downwards, skimming past players in yellow and green and stopped momentarily about 10 foot from the ground.
Current snitch chases: Hufflepuff 1/10 and Slytherin 1/10

A group of tiny Gryffindors had caught Thom's attention. They were seated in one of the higher stands and were bouncing up and down feverishly, pointing with frightening enthusiasm toward the middle of the pitch. Thom raised his hand to his eyes to block out the sun, and saw the snitch ducking and diving in a elaborate motions. It seemed to be so focus on its own actions that it had completely forgot about Thom and Zachary.
His broomstick, having a mind of its own, got over excited and leaped forward sharply, almost causing Thom to roll off backward. He managed to fight against the wind and press himself onto the handle, flying at full speed to the middle of the pitch, his eyes unblinking and trained upon the glinting golden ball.
It stopped dead suddenly like a dog catching the scent of danger. 'No!' Thom yelled furiously as it shot of at the rate of knots just as his hands swiped the air where it had been only a second before. Thom looked about frantically, but it was now no where to be found. 'Bloody thing...' He cursed darkly before turning his broom and flying off.

Bailey had been flying around awaiting the quaffle to be put back into action. The slytherins played on and Girty had caught the quaffle. She had been calculating moves and the distance it would require to reach the slytherin hoops, when Girty whistled. Catching her attention, Bailey smiled and waved at Girty.
The quaffle took flight toward them, a slightly high throw, however an easy enough catch. Bailey stood on her broom and reached out and caught the quaffle with ease. Continuing forward whilst standing on her broom.
Bailey waved cheekily at the slytherins, and threw the quaffle to Bog seen as he hadn't had it for a short while! As the ball left her hands, she leant forward on her broom making it flip her into the air. She completed a flip and landed back on her broom with elegance, making it look much easier than it was.

Boggleworth had been cheekily pulling faces at the Slytherins, much like his fellow Hufflepuffs had. Beginning to wonder quite why he was needed on this pitch to tear apart the diabolical but hilarious Slytherins he had been about to have a chat with a friend from the stands when the ball practically landed in his lap. Looking at it bemused for an instant he regathered his wits and set off urging his broom to go faster as he dodged a screeching bludger. Muttering thanks to his trusty broom for the lucky escape he soldiered on, not really nearing the Slytherins posts at any particular speed. Slow and methodical wasn't quite his style, but he couldn't bring himself to part with his beloved broom, which coincidently had gotten him through thick and thin. Not really paying much attention to the match now they had gotten a few goals in, in fact he had lost count already he shook his head resignedly wishing Slytherin were more up for a fight. Throwing the ball onwards to a flash of yellow he looked up once more and chuckled at the antics of Thom, he had kept him thoroughly amused throughout the match.

Girty watched the quaffle be passed form one person to the other and slowly made her way along the pitch whistling to herself as she went. As she got closer to Bog she noticed he had the quaffle. Speeding up she flew past him into some empty space where the Slytherin chasers had failed to mark. As the quaffle flew toward her she gladly held out her arms as it went sailing into them. Sitting on her broom she looked around still whistling to herself. She was surprised to see a Slytherin chaser coming near her so with a quick spin of the broom she flew off toward the hoops wondering if she should put Hufflepuff even further ahead.
With a small sigh she got into position in front of the right hoop and through the quaffle threw the hoop with a small smile.
