Kellcie thought it was about time she saw the town called Hogsmeade for herself. She hadnt yet been there and wondered what all the fuss was about.
It was late afternoon, so the sun was setting and it had become slightly breezy. The crowds had died down so there was nearly nobody around, but still enough people to make sure Kellcie didnt feel like the place was deserted. However she felt a bit silly going around this place alone.
After an hour or two, when the sun was on the horizon, Kellcie had found her way around to all the shops and got a general feel of the place, it was certainly something new. She had never experienced anything quite like this as her family lived a way from full wizarding areas in order for their little girl to feel some sort of normality. Though this was the most of a normal feeling she had ever had.
The time rolled on ever so slowly, and Kellcie began to feel lonely now. All the people she knew were in the library studying, but it wasnt something she felt like doing, at least not tonight. Maybe tomorrow.
Sitting down on a bench, Kellcie watched the others all walk past her. The late afternoon was slowly becoming early night, and everyone was leaving, yet Kellcie stayed sat on the bench, not feeling like returning just yet. The shops were now closed, but the place was peaceful.

Peace was about to be shattered.
Gobien moved quickly through, the now much more deserted streets, on his last visit here he had been hunted down by a rather resourceful young man and had barely escaped having his memory being wiped clean. He didn't intend to make that mistake again, not wishing to speak to anyone he kept his pace going quickly wishing to reach 'The Three Broomsticks' soon, he needed a stiff drink, a shave and a bed for the night, but those were luxuries he could ill afford. Too long had he slept with roots digging deep into his back, the temptation to take a room for only one night was immense, but he knew that would begin a slide down a slippery slope and he would need comforts once again.
He was to meet someone there now, an informant who could tell him more of the happenings at Hogwarts. But his luck wasn't in, the place crawled with Ministry officials, one seemed particularly curious as to why Gobien was strolling down the street. It was high time to throw him off the scent.
Seeing a student lazing about on bench seemingly contented to watch the world go by he decided she needed some spice in her life. Bounding over he called "There you are, I've been looking all over for you," he gave her a brief hug whispering urgently into her ear, "please play along, I'll repay you handsomely...somehow."
"Have you enjoyed yourself then?" He asked sitting next to astounded girl, he hadn't planned this well, it had been on the spur of the moment, was he even a distant uncle to her or a lover, he wasn't sure which she'd really prefer, or more importantly which would throw off the Ministry officials quickest. "Had fun looking through all the shops?" He asked quite genuinely interested, in his day there had been amazing sights for sore eyes to see. Would she play along with his ploy? Gobien pleaded with his eyes desperately hoping she would.

Kellcie was just letting the day roll by, deciding it was time to do something other than school work or studying, even though this was probably her most important year, but she felt as though one day would not harm her grades, which were seemingly good. Her parents were proud of her and that was all that mattered in her little world.
She wasnt like most girls who only cared about guys and the way they looked, Kellcie was more of a carreer headed person and knew there would be a time in her life she could sit back and worry about all those teenage things, but not yet. Not now.
Kellcie heard a voice behind her, but didnt recognise it so she thought he may have been speaking to someone else. Though she soon came to realise he was actually talking to her. "Ehm, what?" she had the chance to say before she was pulled into a hug. Kellcie heard what he said and muttered an 'ok' back. She didnt have a clue who he was, but Kellcie was all for helping others. It was one of her qualities.
"Uh, yeah" Kellcie mumbled, "Its been alright, i havnt really done anything so.." She placed her gaze ahead of her, rather than looking at the unknown person sat beside her. He kept on with the questions, and Kellcie was quite on edge, having a conversation with someone she didnt know seemed to be quite strange, "The shops are good, especially Zonko's." She stiffled a giggle when she thought of all the jokes in there, she had sat next to her a Pigme Puff which she had bought from another store, "Oh, i got this too, it was far too cute to pass up" She gave him a warm smile, just because she didnt know the guy, didnt mean she couldnt be nice did it?

It most certainly did not. Gobien was very appreciative of the help she had not quite freely offered. Gobien leaned back, lazing on the bench feeling quite at ease for once, the girl was thankfully playing along with his ploy at losing the Ministry officials upon his trail, and he could relax; for a short time.
Smiling quite broadly he responded "Ah yes Zonko's that's a right barrel of laughs, I used to spend much of my time there, well every free weekend, there used to be all sorts of artefacts that are actually illegal now, what with so many rules with health and safety these days." It seemed Gobien had gone for the affectionate Uncle approach, or maybe a cousin, yes that suited him better, he wasn't that old was he? Whatever others thought of him he still felt young at heart, which was what mattered most, in fact he could easily beat most lads with physical fitness due to his having been doggedly chased by the Ministry for a number of weeks now, or was it months, he'd lost track of time as the days blurred into each other.
"Oh a Pigme Puff," he cried in unfeigned jubulation "it's adorable, the noise it makes when you scratch its stomach or behind the ear is just hilarious," he remarked clearly enthused.
"I presume you've had a butterbeet already then?" He asked with little hoep that she hadn't, though it might be pushing the limits he did so want a butterbeer, or rathermore a damn decent shave and scrub up, a nice bath wouldn't go amiss either. But he would have to live without them and retain his rugged appearance, although that would only draw the Ministry to him like moths to a light, so maybe a clean-up was in order.
Digging into his pocket he pulled out a leather wallet that he cherished, "ah looks like I've got 4 galleons, hmm, 10 sickles nice and ooh a couple of knuts too, that must be enough for a couple of drinks," more importantly a damn good bath or shower followed by a clean up.
"Shall we?" He trilled smiling broadly whilst keeping an eye out for any officials who seemed suspicious. The heavens were shining down upon him, it looked as though none were around; at present.

Even though she didnt know this guy, she seemed to have loosened up a little bit. Though the question was still in her mind as to why he wanted her to play along with this little game. Though it wasnt one she was going to be asking since she wasnt sure if she wanted to know the answer to his question so instead she kept it in her mind and knew she would ponder on it later on.
The streets now were quiet, there was nobody else but the two of them around, and the sun was just beginning to fall over the horizon, casting shadows into even the most brightly lit corners. It would be a warm night, there was no wind, or at elast not enough as Kellcie's hair was just barely blowing in the none-exsistant wind.
She looked across at the nameless person as he spoke, listening to him, like she did to anyone who spoke to her, mainly out of respect rather than being interested in what they said. Though, what he was saying seemed quite interesting to her, "There were things sold there that were illegal?" she asked, never knowing a hogsmeade shop would sell illegal things, "But they werent illegal when they were selling them were they?"
It was strange being sat with someone she didnt know, but she should be used to it by now, she was meeting people she didnt know every day wasnt she? Why should this be any different to what she does every single day of her life.
"Oh, well i havnt tried scratching its stomache" She told him truthfully, "but it is something i will have to try now" She thought about it for a minute as she held it in her arms, "You know, he hasnt got a name..." She looked at him, "why dont i name it after you? After all it was a random buy" she lowered her voice so it was just audible to him, for some reason she had the feeling he wanted her to act like she already knew him, "And you were a random meeting" she gave a soft laugh. Hoping he would actually see the funny side of something pink, cute and fluffy being named after such a rugged guy.
In truth, she had already had a butterbeer. Though he seemed to want one so she wasnt going to turn him down and besides, he looked thirsty and he didnt exactly seem like he wanted to be drinking alone. "No, I havnt had the chance to yet" She lied, thinking it was easier than going all around the houses to explain yes she had. "Thats plenty, they're not really that expensive, but its okay... Ive got some coins left from my little shopping trip ill put in with you"
Kellcie stood up, holding the pigme puff in her arms. She hadnt come out in her uniform, she was in her jeans and a vest top. "Well, are you going to keep a girl waiting" She laughed.

For once Jake wasn't in a dire circumstance, there was even the possibility of having a decent scrub in a hot soaking bath, hopefully with lots of big bubbles just around the corner; if and only if he was lucky. You never knew with the Ministry they had a very annoying tendency to arrive just at the wrong time. Just when he had been about to take a very lovely lady out to dinner once, a damned reporter had assailed them both wanting to know if she really wanted to dine with an ex-convinct? Even telling the complete and utter truth had saved that relationship. Whether the infamous Fitz Hargreaves actually working for the Ministry or not, Jake of course still blamed him wholeheartedly to this day. Knowing Jake's awful luck somebody would undoubtedly enter just in the middle of a lovely long completely deserved soak. He just had a funny feeling in his gut about it. Like he had with the very dangerous prank he had once sprung on a Slytherin when at Hogwarts himself, he'd known something would go horribly wrong and it had ultimately ended in tears.
"Well no, not exactly, some stuff was just ok back then, though once or twice, make that well over a dozen, one of the assistants used to sell off some illegal merchandise, but boy was it good. Never, ever give a Smigglyfishywishy to a Gryffindor gal, sounds lame doesn't it?" He admitted chuckling "but believe me it leaves a stench of fish for weeks if not months, irreversable too. Phaw I got a damn good slap for that...every time I saw her afterwards, she still holds the grudge." He grimaced touching his cheek, "I can still feel it now." Laughing he added "cause I just saw her round the corner, youch it was painful I think she's been practising; must be married." He joked with a bark of a laugh.
Scratching his growing beard, whcih eh could have sworn housed dozens of fleas due to the amount of itching Jake smirked, "you really want to name him after me? I suppose he is cute but also has a sort of masculinity about him that's so very attractive in a man. But really I'd be honoured, the name's Jake Gobien, please say you haven't heard of me cause then the talk's probably over, so why not call him Gobby? That's what my friends call me."
As his new aquaintance stood waiting to be off, he rose stiffly pretending there was a pain in his back, "ooh bones aren't what they used to be." Seeing her shocked expression he chortled "god I'm not that old you'd believe me am I?"
Holding out his arm to escort her Jake asked "I will most certainly not keep you detained any longer, we shall be off toute suite." Linking arms his feet automatically walked the path towards the tavern they would soon be drinking in.
"I suppose you get this all the time eh?" He teased, "a handsome young chap on your arm ready to pay an arm and a leg for a drink with you. Is the queue right around that corner? I can spy some lads gawking at you, they always make it so obvious don't they?"
He chuckled then added as an afterthought. "You know I don't even know your name either Miss..." He waited patiently for an answer whilst keeping his eyes peeled for anyone suspicious looking, oh wait that was him all conspicuous in his long flowing trenchcoat; but he wouldn't trade it in for the world; it had kept him warm, dry and alive for many a year.

The sun had now set in the horizon, casting a strange orangy glow over the small village. The wind was barely there, but it was enough to make her hair blow a bit. The pigme puff was sat in her knee, though she placed him back in her bag now.
It had been a while since Kellcie had actually sat and spoke to someone about things other than school work, or what she did during her free time in the summer. Those conversations were getting old and she was glad for the welcome change. Even though she didnt know the guy she was actually talking to.
"Oh" Kellcie said looking at him, not sure that prank was something she would like. "I'll bet it was, illegal things are always more fun, though im not sure i like the sound of that Smigglyfishywishy thing. Though i did hear that it was banned somewhere though" Kellcie looked at him and laughed, "Yeah well if you'd have done that to me, you'd have gotten more than a good slap, I'd have beaten you black and blue all around the school," Shrugging she simply said, "Girls have power behind their slapping"
"Well, yeah, i do want to name him after you, and i dont think hes complaining" She said with a smile. Kellcie giggled at the rest of his words, he certainly had a way of making her laugh that was for sure. "A bit of masculinity doesnt go amiss, seriously, most guys these days are so skinny..." She made a fff'ing noise, trying to show skinny guys were not at all attractive. Jake Gobien, I have heard that name before... something to do with the ministry... Oh.. she cut of her thought before it trailed anywhere else, she did know who he was, the whole school had been talking about him and other people. Though she had him figured for a nice guy, and she hadnt expected him to look the way he does. She always thought he looked older, more ragged and quite skinny. Not quite young, a little rugged, and quite muscly. "Well then, thats his name." She spoke looking down into her bag at the pigme puff who made a small noise of approval, "Heard of you?" she questioned, "The whole schools been in uproar about you, being against the ministry and all, but the ministry are idiots anyway, theres loads of people these days who are against them so it doesnt matter much to me who or what you are. As long as you dont hurt me" she said with a sideways smile. Now she knew who he was, she did feel nervousness rise up in her. Though she knew the name, and knew the ministry was after him. That was all she knew, she didnt know why or what he had done, and she wasnt sure she wanted to. "So, Gobby? Thats a strange nickname, though the name Jake is nice"
"Well, no i didnt think you were quite that old, but your pushing it a bit arent you" She joked. Watching him as he stood up, at least she knew she could have a joke with him without him taking it offensivly.
Kellcie linked her arm through his and smiled, "I should hope not, its not very polite to keep a girl waiting you know" she told him as they began to walk to wherever they were going, this certainly was going to be something she would remember for a while.
"Oh, of course i do, they just cant help it" She joked, though truthfully, she hadnt had this before and wasnt used to it. "The queue is more than just around that corner" She teased. It was strange being like this with someone, was something Kell wasnt used to. "You sure theyre not gawking at you? After all, two of them are gay" She laughed.
"Miss Amienaiz" She said this in a high posh tone, then laughed, "Its Kellcie." She looked around and the place was beginning to empty quite fast now, and she was growing worried. Though if anyone asked, she was sure she could come up with a believeable story.

Jake looked resignedly at his new found friend when she divulged that the entirity of the school seemed to know about him; that really wasn't good at all and soured his view of events somewhat. He had dearly hoped that his presence had gone a little more unnoticed, but Jake was ever the opportunist so would deal with the situation as it came to him; perhaps student avid interest would work to his advantage and really worry the Ministry a little more. Thus far he believed he barely registered on their rader, which was admittedly how he liked it, yet perhaps fame would help his cause? He'd have to ponder upon that one more fully in the peace and quiet of the forest later.
Linking arms and starting off Gobien commented "Gay are they? Which ones? Not the grimacing one surely? None of them meet my high exacted standards; unlike your good self I hasten to add." He smirked. "Pushing it am I?" He chuckled "I'll be pushing you into that dirty great puddle in a minute if I have more of your cheek. Then your jeans will really be ruined." He joked "Look at the state of them, torn with loads of holes in them, not pretty on the eyes at all, if you want to show leg you've got to wear a dress, I believe it'd look qutie befitting upon you." He stated quite sincerly with a dry smile.
"You know I can't spy that queue of gawping lads anywhere hereabouts, have you driven them all off with a lashing tongue or something?" He joked "that's the trouble with lads these days," He gestured quite pointedly and obviously to a passing boy, "not only are they nothing but skin and bone but they've no guts either, so soon put off, especially by commitment. Need to get themselves a backbone and harden up." He said softly in a joking manner rather than cruelly as his words might suggest; though he did believe in the truth of them.
"So Miss Amienaiz a beautiful name and a pretty first name to boot, some people have all the luck, or lovely parents to give the name, I'm guessing you've both." He chuckled, "you do realise that guy really is giving you the eye, you'll have to look sharp though cause he'll do the classic of act of ignorance, oh yes he's pulling it off perfectly; looks like a complete ignorant fool." He joked laughing and smiling broadly at the lad who was avidly goggling at Kellcie. "I tell you its a good job I've you as my protector, these guys really are looking at me funny; is it pure envy or lust?" He asked wondering if these skinny boys had really seen a handsome man striding amongst them before.
"Ah we're here," he said elatedly as the Three Broomsticks came into view, it really looked just as it had all those years ago. "Still as rustic as ever I see." Darting a quick glance around he saw the streets really were quieter now. Earnestly now he turned to his younger companion, "do you really want a drink with a man fleeing from the Ministry? Handsome I may be, but that lad we passed just now really was smitten by your beauty, he's more than prepared to give it a shot. Wouldn't you prefer a drink with him than an old man like me?" He asked quite earnestly not looking for sympathy; she'd done more than enough to ensure his surviving another night in the wilderness that was his life. He sorely needed times with the cream of humanity to remind him who he fought for. He was extremely grateful for her assistance but didn't want to put her out any further; she didn't deserve it.
He waited patiently now wondering what she would say. though he had enjoyed her company immensely he guessed she'd much rather prefer time with those her own age, with interests more similar to her own. Little did he realise just how much in common they did actually share.

Kellcie saw the way he looked at her and now she felt bad about telling him that. Maybe he didnt actually want to hear it, but usually Kell was an honest person, though there was some people she would lie to. Only if she had to though, it wasnt a regular occurance in her world. She squoze his arm a little to try and show she didnt mind that he was being chased by the ministry.
"Yeah, well two of them are." Kellcie laughed, "No that ones straight, its the other two who arent" Kellcie smiled a sweet smile and said, "What makes me so special" in a joking tone.
"You can try Mr, You'll be right in it behind me" She stuck her tongue out at him and looked down at her jeans, "Theres nothing wrong with my jeans, its called fashion you dimwhit, you might want to take some of that to your own wardrobe, you wont look so conspicous then" Kellcies mouth fell open, "I would rather date the minister then wear a dress! No actually i wouldnt but you get the point"
"I always scare boys" She smiled. Kellcie looked at the boy who walked past them, he was in her house but years younger than her. He was scrawny and seemed to keep his head down when he walked past them. "Or if they have got guts its usually more arrogance than anything, like the Slytherins. How i would love to punch some of them" she smiled her sweet smile again.
"Beautiful? Its strange is what it is" Kellcie ran a hand through her brown hair and looked at the floor. She had never thought of her name before, but a lot of people couldnt even pronounce it properly and hearing someone else say it was strange. "Wh.. oh" She looked at the boy, who actually resembled a toad. "I dont know, maybe its a bit of both"
Kellcie looked up at the three broomsticks. She liked it in there though she was sure it would be quieter now. She looked up at the sign and smiled. Though her smile was slashed by his question as a confused look crossed her face, "Dont be silly, i said i would have a drink with you and i will do. Besides your not old, and your actually a lot cuter than that halfwit." She said with a sly smile "I dont really mind if your fleeing from the ministry or the whole wizard race." She wondered where this had come from, but she didnt ask. Instead she looked at him, smiling a little bit. "Besides, i like your company"

Jake looked astounded "that ones straight? Why was he looking so longingly at me then? You sepcial? Why that little upturn of the mouth, the sly gleam in the eyes, oh and the cute button nose of course."
"Really?" He asked incredulously "Dresses are lovely, just the ticket rather than messy jeans, come on you can't do a sweeping dance in jeans, you know I've got a point there, and you really don't look nearly so sophisticated or graceful in trousers; as you can tell from the clumsy two left feet lads who lurch around dancefloors, I'm the exception that proves the rule of course. I do prophesise here and now that one day you will wear a most delicious dress, then every guy in the room really will fall head over heals for you, mark my words. Then perhaps boys won't be so afraid of you, rathermore smitten, fear or lust? You've got to choose." He joked chuckling with undiluted mirth.
"You know if you want to lash out, then just do it, I feel much better when I give literally anybody from the ministry a good whallop, or challenge them to a duel, that's always exhilarating to say the least."
"Unique is the word you're searching for my dear, unique, though I do remember an Amienaiz, obsessed with purity of blood, does that ring a bell?" He asked smirking but thought better of pressing the matter, talking of such subjects made him a little uneasy, others always seemed to hold very strong views.
When it came down to it Kellcie decided to stick with him, which he was very tahnfkul for he'd immediately grown accustomed to her presence and knew he would feel at a loss when later alone again in the forest's darkness. "I very much appreciate that Kellcie," he said with an uncle's affection, somewhat spoilt by the appreciative kiss he pressed lightly upon her cheek. "Not old and cute eh? What a compliment!" He chuckled wryly giving her a playful light punch on her shoulder, then turned serious to emphasise the truth in his words once more; "your ability to trust openly is a gift young Amienaiz, you haven't prejudged me at all which is really quite remarkable, others blindly follow their fellows attitudes to me or simply judge me by my somewhat shabby and rugged appearance, yet you are making your own mind up given time."
Reverting to his usual cheerfulness he added heartily "good on you, after you then." He coaxed swinging the door of the warm welcoming pub wide; his bath beckoned but first a good drink would do wonders.

"Yes, he's straight alright, ive seen him chase many a girl, though he always gets pushed back which is quite funny" Kellcie didnt look at him, instead she reverted her eyes back to the floor. "However in his case, ignorance is bliss i suppose. I tend to walk the opposite way down the corridor when i see him coming up it, no girl is safe with him" She stiffled a laugh. Unfortunatly for her, she knew exactly who he was and knew to avoid him at all costs, or have a rather annoying person stuck to her. Kellcie snapped a hand over her nose, she was always paranoid about it and someone mentioning it wasnt a good thing. "Cute? Its too small for my face! Got my mothers nose, and my fathers eyes"
Dresses are the devil in her mind. She would never wear one unless she had too. Like at balls or something. When she actually couldnt get out of it. She knew he was right on the dancing part, but Kellcie couldnt dance anyway so it made no difference, though she wasnt going to tell him that. "I happen to like trousers and jeans ill have you know" She said glaring at him, then smiled. "I dont think i will, unless im literally forced into it. And i think ill go for fear, guys who dote on you just kinda bore me anyway. Guys that like a bit of excitement are a lot more fun to be around"
"I dont lash out, im to calm for that kinda thing, unless someone annoys me" Which was true, Kellcie usually just took people for who they were, but she did tend to lose her temper sometimes.
"Yes... My mother and father" she said hanging her head. They were so ashamed when she got into Ravenclaw. They had been hoping for her to be in Slytherin like them before her. It was something she would never live down. She looked at him, "But i am nothing like them" Liar... You are exactly like them, and that will never chance. Impuraty is bad and you know it.. Shut up Kellcie didnt want to argue with herself again, frowning she shut of the thoughts, "Did you know them or something?"
Kellcie liked being in his company, though she knew it wouldnt last for very much longer. Kellcie also didnt know if she would see him again but didnt press that matter in her mind. She felt the kiss he placed upon her and she felt herself flush. Laughing a little bit and running a hand through her hair, "Well, come on, you know that already. How many girls have eyed you up during our walk here" Pressing a finger into his chest she said "And dont say you havnt noticed" She laughed "I dont trust openly i just give everyone thier fair chance. Ill make up my mind about you later, im still trying to figure you out and your proving difficult indeed. Its interesting." Kellcie walked into the pub, pulling him with her.

"Is he desperate or does he actually get through girls that fast?" Enquired Gobien his interest perked as he really did enjoy some gossip from time to time; always good for the soul he believed; especially when he didn't know who they were. "Ah tis bad when guys and gals chase each other like headless chickens, love only comes to those who wait," Seeing her incredulous look he continued "I'm lucky that I only have a short wating time, but a long waiting list." He chuckled warmly "your nose is cute," he teased tweaking it on purpose. "You shouldn't care about your looks, I know its easy for me to say with mine, but honestly its difficult not to care no matter what people say."
"You're around the right guy for neverending thrill then. Excitement is the way forward, never let a day go by that doesn't take your breath away that's my motto and I live by it, all I have to do is look in the mirror." He joked "only problem being a lack of a grand mirror at the minute, I have to make do with this little contraption" He dug a small worn foldable mirror from his pocket "I can see a tuft of my hair in it." The mirror was exceptionnally dirty and it was really nigh on impossible to distinguihs any features from it, "beauty just shines through it," He stated "Yeah I can see you as clear as day."
Gobien suddenly went quiet as Kellcie enquired if he knew her parents; he knew them alright and had quarrelled many a time with them throughout his years at school, where he had pointedly played many tricks upon them, and after when he had become a spy for the Ministry, even then they had disagreed most fiercely upon what was right and wrong; Gobien tended to try and ignore them rather than iniatiate an argument which he couldn't win without a prolonged fight. In fact he'd even duelled and won against her father; something he'd rather not divulge to her.
"Yeah I knew them." He grumbled gravely "suffice to say we didn't get along like a house on fire, your Mother was kinder back then, your Father was too competitive and fierce, we neither got along or particularly clashed." Which was quite true, he just didn't dilvuge all the truth. What she didn't know couldn't hurt her.
"Oh I may have noticed one or two, I thought they were just looking at you." Though he knew it was true his looks did sometimes attract attention; luckily he wasn't clean-shaven.
As he allowed Kellcie to drag him into the roaring pub he roared "Very interesting indeed eh? You'll never fathom me out though." He grinned taking her hand and guiding her directly towards the bar, past the throng of portly wizards playing a variation of darts and the hags smoking tobacco. Gobien was quite overcome with the raucous noise, though in reality it was rather quiet, compared to the deathly eariness of the forest.
Arriving at the bar he quickly ordered the drinks leaning heavily upon the counter whilst summoning over two long legged stools with a flick of his wand and a whispered command. "Unless you'd prefer a cosy corner?" He joked, as the barmaid came over he gave her a winning smile and ordered crisply, "two firewhisk..oh wait I mean two butterbeers, she's not of legal age yet," he teased handing over the required money. Strumming his fingers upon the bar he turned to Kellcie. "You don't drink yet do you? I mean alcohol of course."

"He's just deseperate to be honest with you" she shrugged, she wasnt quite sure what his game was but she knew it involved girls. "Though most arent stupid enough to entertain him, doesnt stop him trying though" Kellcie agreed that it was bad when girls and guys chased eachother, it just made things a bit more boring. She however just waited, she was not yet bothered whether she ever got with someone or if she didnt. It wasnt the most important thing in her life. "I dont care about my looks" She spoke waving a hand infront of her face, "I just get paranoid about my nose. And anyway... i always look perfect" she teased and stuck out her tongue.
Kellcie didnt doubt she was around the right guy, afterall he was being chased by the ministry and that could prove to be fun in itself. Though for now, she was enjoying herself anyway. Kellcie tried to keep her mind in the right place, though it did keep wandering away to random things. SHe smiled and pulled out a cleaner mirror that he could actually see his face in and pressed it into his hand, "There you go, dont say i never give you anything" she laughed. However she didnt get the last thing he said, "You talking to your mirror?" she asked confused.
"Oh i see" Kellcie looked down at the floor, "Then you know what a prat my father is, my mothers not short of it either" She looked at him, "Either way, i dont get along with them, and they dont really get along with me so... I dissapoint them" She said with a shrug and a laugh, but if she was honest she didnt care that much.
"Looking at me? Come on! They were blatently looking at you" She said through a smile. Kellcie looked at his rugged appearance and actually thought it suited him whatnot.
"Oh give me time and ill have you figured" She turned to him and smiled, "You hve me mistaken for a normal girl, im persistant and dont give up easily. Especially when i want something or i want to know something" she smiled. The pub was the usual bustle of the regulars in at night. She had often come here at night, though she wasnt technically meant to.
Though next year she was sure she'd be here more considering this was her last year in hogwarts and she wasnt sure what she wanted to do with herself. Her mother and father were trying to force her into the ministry, but there was no way she was doing that.
"I happen to like the cosy corners, its more relaxing, and more private. Though this bar stool will do i suppose" she said with a fake sigh. Kellcie looked at the darkened corner she usually sat in when she was alone. It was a perfect place really. Not overcrowded by other people and tables. Though Kellcie was happy where she was. Kellcie looked at him with a raised eyebrow when he teased her, "Depends what you mean by legal" she snapped back. Sticking her tongue out once more, she seemed to do that an awful lot. "I havnt drank in a while, but i do back home"

"Where there's a will there's a way," countered Gobien with a smirk, "one day his perseverance might pay off and a girl will be stupid enough, or equally as desperate to be with him; it'll happen, and it could be you." He teased thinking the lad was unlikely to find anyone if he didn't stop acting so immature; chasing around girls the way he seemed to would get him nowhere and his reputation would only become tarnished for life.
"Don't care about your looks?" Scoffed Gobien astounded and plainly incredulous. "Everyone does to a certain extent, otherwise you wouldn't be paranoid now would you." He chuckled especially when Kellcie pressed a mirror into his open hand, "ah lovely, a mirror always comes in handy for looking around corners," He said seriously "no honest, it's great and has saved me tons of times; check the street before I go a strolling out. Works like a charm; especially with a charmed mirror for added perception." Pocketing the new shining mirror with a grin, Gobien smirked, he couldn't come by anything easily so had to take what he was given. "Sorry," he apologised still smirking "you can clean up the old one, and I was talking about your beauty shining through silly," he mock chided.
But then came the somewhat touchy subject of her parents, he was on dangerous ground there so simply grunted an agreement "Everything disappointed them at school, and I can't imagine they're the type to change an awful lot neither."
Gobien's grin visibly widened as Kellcie insisted the girls had been looked pointedly at him, "well if you say so, I thought they were just disgusted with the grime covering my face," to emphasise his point he wiped a finger across his brow, the difference was plain and his hand came away far dirtier than before, "see what I mean." He chuckled longing for his long soak in bath once more.
"Only time will tell, though I'd advise you not to go digging into my past, others will get suspicious and it isn't a particularly nice read, thrilling, exhilarating but quite horrible in places, I should know having lived through it." He chuckled having a brainwave of writing an autobiography; it would indeed make an interesting read; but others had a far more important history.
Having made their way into the hustle and bustle of the pub Gobien decided to acquiese with her request, and besides hiding in a corner would draw far less attention. Asking the barmaid to keep the butterbeers coming he commanded "Off we go then," as he chuckled at her words, he should have known her parents wouldn't care if she drank herself into a stupour. Sliding onto a small bench thrust deep into the very corner of the room Gobien greedily slurped down his drink letting out a loud sigh of satisfaction. "The taste never leaves you, remember them like it was yesterday, partly because I found a half-finished bottle in the street, sick I know but when you're desperate it's a heavenly liquer." Setting down his drink and giving his full undivided attention, except for the mandatory glance around the room, Gobien ran a hand through his straggly hair, it was a mess and it desperately needed cutting as it often slipped over his eyes to impair his vision.
"A repsonsible adult might tell you to keep your intake of alcohol down, but if it helps then keep it coming, and I'm hardly responisble, now Miss Amienaiz how was the latest dance at the school?" It was a random question he knew, but he'd always had an avid interest in balls and dancing of all kinds; sweeping a girl off her feet was his speciality.

"I think that girl would have to be higly intoxicated to even consider it to be frank with you" Kellcie said back with a smirk. If anyone was even slightly attracted to thatfool, they needed some serious mental re-adjustments. Well she knew it wouldnt be her that ended up with him so she wasnt that bothered by it.
"Looks are not the most important thing in life" She spoke simply, and she believed it. True enough everyone did care about the way they looked to a point, but Kellcie, so long as she didnt look a complete mess, wasnt that bothered. She was more into up and out. Rather than up, doll up, and out. It wasnt time for her yet to be seriously thinking about such things when she had so much time ahead of her. "No need to be sorry, Im just a little slow on certain things is all"
Kellcie dodged the conversation about her parents, it wasnt something she wanted to get into. Though it would seem he knew them anyway so there wasnt much she could tell him, he probably knew more about it than she did.
"Oh shush" Kellcie smiled, giving him a playful punch to the shoulder, "You know you love the attention, though you are rather dirty..." She said, pullin out a wipe from her pocket and handing it to him. Something she always carried around, a mirror, and some wipes. Just in case.
"Others will get suspicious over someone being interested in the wizards against the ministry" she spoke with slight sarcasm, "Now who would have thought that..."
Kellcie sat down on one of the corner seats at the table, the shadow of this place hid them both to an extent so that they could both relax, or he could anyway. She sat there, her hands crossed in her lap, her eyes looking out of the window opposite from them. The sun had fully set now, casting dark shadows on the streets of Hogsmeade, she wasnt that bothered, she had a free day tomorrow, no classes so it didnt really matter what time she got back. Kellcie looked at him when he spoke to her, "Thats kinda icky. Though i do suppose if you have no other choice your not going to grumble about it are you?" Kellcie looked at him as he ran a hand through his hair. It had gotten quite out of control and seriously needed scissor attention.
"I dont suppose you are responsible" She gave a laugh, though her intake of alcohol was low when she was in school, it rose dramatically when she wasnt, she was drinking everynight when she was at home, being able to get in the clubs it kind of gave her reason to. "The last dance? Wouldnt know, i didnt go" she knew that it was a bit pathetic that she hadnt attended, but she really didnt fancy being there with everyone being all coupled up, she had felt so out of place.
