Scott went to grab her arm but it was too late. Bella had fallen and Scott was starting to feel a little worried. He knelt down beside her and helped her to a sitting position, "Are you alright?" he asked, a hand still on her arm. "You look a little shook up," he said with a smile.
Scott looked around, "How bout we just sit here for a moment," he said sitting down and bringing his hand back to his own 'bubble'.

bella let out a little gurgle of laughter in spite of herself. she looked down to where his hand had been on her arm and tried to conceal a smile. but diana's face was looming in the back of her mind. bella had heard in whistledown about diana and him in the owlry. she had talked to diana about it and she seemed all secretive and crap. whatever.
"yeah, rest sounds good. this forrest just creeps me out," bella admitted, giving an involuntary shiver.

Scott laughed, "Well we're not out of here yet but I promise we will be soon," He said with a comforting smile.
Scott thought for a moment then sighed, "So," he said running a hand through his already messy hair, "I heard you have a boyfriend, or something of that sort," he said, trying to make conversation without letting her know that he was into her. "Is it true?" he asked.

"no, definitly not. i could say what ive heard about you but thats more than id care to relive.
bella leaned back against an old oak tree. she had heard about scott and diana, and did not want to believe it was true, but scott hadnt done anything to make her think different, so what could she do. she wasnt ready to throw her heart away on a guy again if she wasnt sure he liked her back.

Scott looked at her with confusion, "You've heard things about me?" he asked. Scott looked at another tree, "Let me guess, the whole "Diana and Scott in the Owlery" thing, right?" he said looking back at her, "We're just friends, Bella. Besides, she may be a sweet person, but I like someone else," he said with a smile.

"Oh, really," said bella, trying to be flirty, but the lack of oxygen flowing to her brain made it difficult. "Well, whoever she is has to be the luckiest girl in the school."

Scott laughed and nodded, "I guess you could say that."
He looked around for a moment and decided that maybe they should continue on their way back to the castle. He stood up and held out a hand to Bella, "You coming?" he asked with a smile.

Scott smiled as he softly pulled her past the winding trees, his hand still in hers. He looked back at her, "how are you holding up?" he asked with a playful smile. "I mean, I don't want to go too fast or you might fall again."

She shot him a look, but it was all in good fun. "Well, i dont know," she said feigning the very voice of a damsel in distress. "The forrest is just so frightening! I cant even begin to imagine how youre so calm!"

Scott laughed and looked back at her, "Oh, but don't you remember? I'm a Gryffindor, I'm supposed to be brave," he said. He turned back around and suddenly felt his bodly collide with something. Scott stumbled back and bumped into Bella. He turned to her, a hand over his head, "oops," he said with a smile.

Bella was a tad shaken by the sudden collision, but disregarded it. "Ah, yes. Gryffindors. Brave, Noble, Loyal. Admirable qualities in a boy." bella's eyes widened at what she let slip. "in a person." she corrected, but too late.

Scott laughed at her comment, "Not to mention clumsy... but that wouldn't be the first time I've hit my head on something."
Scott tugged at her hand again and started walking, "So Bella, what traits do you look for in a guy, if I might ask?" he said, a grin playing on his lips, "If it is what you just listed, then hey, i fit the quota... tho I can't say I'm very brave, I'm only too stupid to think about what I do before I do it," he said looking back at her.

Bella answered the question with ease. It was something she's thought about many times before. "I just want someone to be there for me whenever i need him, to comfort me when im sad, to make me laugh when im angry, to be the one i can never stay angry with." she answered in a sigh. "is that to much to ask?" she laughed.

Scott stopped for a moment and looked at her. He shook his head slightly and looked her in the eyes when he answered, "Actually, no it's not. It shouldn't be too much to ask for," he answered honestly.
Scott stood for a moment looking at her then started walking agian.
